Description of Work: These guys are great! |I updated my bathroom. New counter top and beautiful Kohler Leaf vessel sink and single leaver faucet. Remodeling crew and plumbers were courteous.punctual.neat and efficient. Will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: We had them come out due to noise the A/C Heat Pump was making. Of course when he turned A/C on it didn't make the noise. Therefore he got permission to just do our annual Fall maintenance including changing the furnace filters since he was here. No extra charge beyond the annual Maintenance Agreement of $221. He was very professional. We have had good service from E&E.

Description of Work: After paying Blough Bros. over $5,000 to replace pipes for a leak that appeared in our front hall ceiling, we hired E&E to renovate 2 bathrooms upstairs to try & correct an apparent plumbing issue as we could not figure out where the leak in the front hall ceiling was coming from. Unfortunately, we did not bid the job. We knew we were paying top dollar to E&E so we expected to get top quality. Instead, we received a nightmare! The first problems that arose were: E&E used plastic striping as edging for the tile in the shower area of both bathrooms rather than bullnose tile (without consulting us), tile flooring in master bath is uneven, and tile flooring in hall bath was not laid on-center. There were numerous other problems but the worse was the fact that since the job was "supposedly" finished, we have had FOUR leaks. The most recent leak which appeared 15 months after completion of the job, was a MAJOR leak that appeared in our front hall AGAIN (the whole reason we started the job in the first place!). Apparently, the shower floor liner in the master bath was not installed properly. E&E just butted it up to the drain and then caulked around it rather than have it fit down into the drain pipe with a tight fit. We have plaster walls and ceilings so the leak was a huge problem. We hired Vailes Bros. to come in and tear out the marble floor in our shower (which entailed taking down the glass doors)& install a new liner, and replace the shower floor (special order marble tile cost was over $500). In addition, we had to tear out the plaster ceiling in the front hall (AGAIN!) and have it repaired. We also paid Vailes Bros. to tear out the entire tile floor in the hall bath to have it laid on-center in addition to several other things which were on the punch list E&E refused to do. So far, our cost at having to fix many of the things that E&E did incorrectly is now over $7,000. One last comment I would like to make. At the end of the job, E&E continually hounded us to pay them the last $2,125. We refused to pay them this amount until the punch list was completed. John Rohr (owner of E&E), as well as Kirk Riggan (person head over our job), came over and we walked them through all the items on the punch list. It was agreed that everything on the list was reasonable and that the items would be done while my husband & I were out of the country. When we returned, nothing had been done and we had received a letter stating they had decided "to cut ties related to our job" - such professionalism! Needless to say, I will NEVER have E&E step foot in my house again as long as I am alive.

Description of Work: "AC heat pump unit quit working, E&E came out on serve call to repair. Service man initially said capacitor would fix some $amount near $200. Installed capacitor did not work, as such told need new compressor (told it would be better to get new complete package some $4,500). Service man put back on old capacitor, I paid some $65-80 for service call. |Called new company to come out for qoute on entire new unit. Service man checked the capacitor said it was bad. Put a new one on, AC worked perfectly. The old one was put back on wired backwards, and likely the E&E guy put the new one backwads as well. In the end, new company charge me $135 for new capacitor. Much less than the nearly $200 I was willing to pay to E&E initially. Additionally, the other company qouted much lower on an entire new unit. |To top off the terrible serive provided by E&E, I called the owner John Rorrer to discuss the bad service and need for a refund of initial service call fee, only to get a response of unprofessional cursing. Ultimately I was given a refund and an request to never call back again. You can bet John at E&E will not have to worry about that."
