+ -1 moreVisit one, he spent the time there complaining about how he had no help, mansplaining 101 plumbing terms AFTER I told him I did most of the repairs in the house, and leaving trash in the yard. $700.00, but the came next day, so I expected it to be high. After the problem wasn't fixing on that first visit, I made sure my husband was there so I didn't have to be talked to like a child. He did the exact same thing to clear the plumbing, then tried to charge us another 395.00, even though there is a 365 day warranty ON THE RECEIPT. He again left trash in my yard. Avoid these people. One of the worst service experiences I have ever had.

+ 0 moreI got a diagnostics that a warranty part was bad. Free part. A black iron union (gasket) needed replaced. This part cost $11. Breakdown of total cost $502: Warranty item $281 (Labor) Black Iron Union $122 (labor) Diagnostics $95 (Labor) In essence I paid over $500 for an $11 dollar part. All labor and it took less than two hours to complete. Robbery. Never again!

Description of Work: hook three wires up, charged 130 dollars, furnace quit in three days, called back, and they said because I would not buy 300+ dollar service, they would not come back out to check, said that there was nothing they could do for me.

Their service people have always been courteous and the most recent serviceman, who did the spring and fall preventive maintenance did an excellent job of cleaning the equipment. We are very pleased with his service and will renew the preventive maintenance contract when it is up for renewal.

+ 2 moreVery well. The work is pricey, and I have used other plumbers and electricians, but E&E are by far the most responsive. I work long and crazy hours, and they have been the most willing to work around my schedule. Excellent quality work, and I trust them in my home when I'm not there.
Description of Work: Replaced bulb in floodlight, but has done all of plumbing work for the last 3 years. Also replaced my boiler and water heaters, as well as other jobs over the years.

Its unbelievable how good they are took about three weeks. They were on time very punctual. Expect the best service you will ever get! They don't cut corners they explain things to you. The pricing was what stood out after i viewed another company.

Jimmy, who routinely makes our calls is a wonderful guy -- a very knowledgeable plumber and someone you instinctively know you can trust. We live in a Victorian house and our plumbing is always an adventure. Eand E has come out on holidays, in ice, while we were out of the country, you name it, they've been there for us. Recently Jimmy and I got our wires crossed about a bill and when I called the office the office simply waived the charge. I can't say enough good about Eand E.

+ -1 moreWonderful experience. They arrived on time and with treats for our dog! When they cut holes for the vents they always cleaned up the dust and dirt left behind. At one point they cleaned the bathroom floor to look better than it did when they arrived. At no time were we without heat. Pretty important during this extreme winter season. The heat system worked perfectly and can't wait to use the air conditioning. It was such a terrific experience that we are now in discussions to renovate a bathroom.
Description of Work: Installed gas furnace and central air in our 1941 bungalow. Included all new duct work and vents because the previous furnace forced heat through one large hole in the floor.

+ -1 moreThey came out to review the premises on Monday and replaced the line on Tuesday. I could not have asked for any faster service than that. Two men and a back hoe arrived first thing Tuesday morning and by 5:30 Tuesday evening the job was complete. On Friday the 27th they returned to level, reseed and lay straw to the lawn and pasture that was destroyed by the excavation and back hoe. They were very professional and considerate of the grounds in every aspect of the job. If I ever have another plumbing problem, which I hope I don't, they will be first on my list to call. Incidentally I consulted Angie's List before I called them.
Description of Work: Replaced water line from the house to the line between the meter and the barn. Added a ball valve the line to shut off service to the house. This branch line runs approximately 200 feet.

+ -1 moreOur old heat pumps were not doing the job, and since replacement parts were no longer available and they used freon that is being phased out, we decided to replace ours. They arrived on time, put down carpet protector and had both units replaced by that afternoon. The entire team was very professional and did the job as I would expect. They may be a bit pricey but if you want the A/C job done right with no headaches, I'd recommend them.

+ -1 morethey did not tell me what the cost was until after the serviceman was done. they had gone way up on charges from the previous time i used them. rediculous to charge so much for such an easy job, and when i called the office it was a "oh well" type of attitude......"oh well, won't use you again"!!
Description of Work: we used this company before and didn't know they changed their rates. we had a clogged drain upstairs in the bathroom, same one as before. the guy was there 15 minutes and had the clog cleared. serviceman was nice and profesional. he gave me the bill and i went berserk. 270.00 for a clogged drain??? this was their new policy, whether it took 15 minutes or 3 hours. he apologized and said he understood my frustration and that he hears this alot from customers........i paid the bill but won't use them again!

Ultimately the job was bigger than what they wanted to quote on so I went with another provider. They were very responsive, they were right on time and they were right about business. They were polite and courteous and did a nice job of the quote.

+ 2 moreKirk supervised the operation which took 30 days. He came by almost every day and was available for questions at any time. He was present when the plumber and electrician were at our house. The carpenter, Jeff was great too. He was extremely professional, and we hardly noticed his presence. Both Kirk and Jeff went "beyond the call" to make things just right for us. I hold E and E Plumbing in the highest regard and would recommend them to anyone looking for a top of the line professional job.
Description of Work: My husband and I wanted to put in a new bathroom off the master bedroom, and gut and redo a bathroom downstairs. We got a quote from E & E Plumbing for installation of 2 baths, 2 sinks, 2 toilets, and a heater and light fixtures for both. We were to supply the tubs, sinks, toilets and lights tp holders and towel racks. The upstairs bath had to be converted from a storeage closet, and new floors had to be installed in both bathrooms. Kirk supervised the operation which took 30 days. He came by almost every day and was available for questions at any time. He was present when the plumber and electrician were at my house. The carpenter, Jeff, was fantastic. He was extremely professional and friendly.

+ -1 moreI basically will never call E and E again for any HVAC work. They are way over priced.
Description of Work: I have used E & E several times. My house is 7 years old. I have had to replace the motor on my A/C unit outside 3 times. Each time that E & E replaced it they replaced it with a universal motor and it cost me $600 each time. The third time I had them out, they suggested I get a whole new A/C/ heating unit for the tune of $12,000 or replace the motor once again but this time with a manufacturers motor. Knowing that the universal motor cost me $600 I decided to call a local HVAC man. He came out within a few days, diagnosed the problem as needing to replace the motor with a manufacturers motor and the total call with parts and labor cost me less than $250. I can only imagine what they would have charged me for the manufacturers motor. I will never use them again.

+ -1 moreThe work they did was fine, though they used plastic pipe on a system that is all copper. The problem I had was their price was way too high. I had them to clean my oil furnace. A little later that season I had problems with the furnace and called them back. The problem was the nozzle had to be replaced. I told them they did a cleaning in the Fall and should have changed the nozzle. They said they don't change the nozzle when the do a cleaning. In my experience that is part of a cleaning. I will not call them again.
Description of Work: I needed some heating pipes moved when I removed a wall in my house and service/clean my furnace (2 different calls)

+ -1 moreTheir price is high and I'm going to look for someone new this fall. They put the equipment in when the house was built and I've just kind of stuck with them. They come twice a year. They installed a faucet in the wrong direction. They came right back out and fixed it. I have no complaints about the work. The price is just to high. The neighbors go to a gentleman that I may go with. They are good people. I don't really have any problem with them.
