Description of Work: Service call was to fix garbage disposal, and review broken outside faucet. Garbage disposal fix was easy, and did not need to be replaced. The issue was with the outside faucet, which burst in freezing temps 1.5 years prior. Originally, as our area exploded with burst pipes from extreme cold, Wacker did quick fix and said complete fix would need to happen later due to high demand. Understood. As much time had passed, discussed with front office upon calling to see if estimate to fix the issue was still valid. They looked it up and said, "Yes, we will still honor that estimate." The serviceman, however, said that they would not. I explained that I discussed with office especially b/c of elapsed time, and was assured estimate would be honored. Serviceman explained that it would cost upwards of $450 due to time lapse and need to cut away drywall, etc. No conditions changed between estimates, so the large price estimate disparity was disturbing. I feel duped.

Description of Work: I had a broken tub faucet and he replaced it with one he had on the truck which I like much better. I also asked him to unclog a drain which wasn't on my initial request. I will definitely use them as my "go to" plumber from now on!

Description of Work: The guy was on time, he knew his stuff, he didnt make a mess, and he was very easy to understand. He has great people skills. I would definately use him again.

Description of Work: Replaced a faucet that was no longer working - They were great. Arrived on time, wore shoe covers to protect the carpet, took away all packaging for the new faucet and all the old faucet parts. Answered all my questions and were very polite

Description of Work: Repaired broken j-handle valve in shower. I gave them a rating of "C" for quality because they did not caulk the face plate after replacing the valve.

Description of Work: Let me start off by saying I am friend's with Richard and some of his staff but my evaluation of their performance is 100% objective. We've got very hard water at my house being that the house is on a well. I had a resulting pinhole leak near my water heater and they were over in no time to fix it. I've had them replace three water heaters in my house total -- One downstairs and the two short ones I have in my attic. They also customized a deep pan for the attic units. On top of that, they discovered that the contractor who put a second floor on my house never connected the overflow pipe to the output pipe, so had my attic unit(s) failed and released water, my house would have been flooded. They were able to connect the output pipes the way they should've been in the first place. They've snaked a drain for me too.

Description of Work: Wacker remodeled my guest bathroom. They were superb. The work was beautiful, they protected furniture and flooring in the room with sheeting, were polite, and kept me updated on what was happening. I am in the process of redoing another bath and Wacker was the first company I called.

Description of Work: Replaced O ring on kitchen faucet. Noticed a non-stop leak at faucet last night. Turned off water to faucet and noticed moisture under kitchen sink too. Called early this morning and received an appt. that morning. I failed to ask for a cost estimate. Plumber arrived and fixed the leak and was done in about 30 minutes. Website advertises quality service at competitive prices. I live within 5 minutes of their company and found this charge more than expected.

Description of Work: Previous evening, I broke my kitchen faucet, which was only 26 years old, original when house was built. Called Wacker Plumbing early the next day to see if they even serviced my area, Lovettsville. Receptionist said sure, in fact, they had a team there today, and they could stop at my place afterwards, late morning. They called at 11am to say they were on the way, had the perfect faucet and sprayer in the truck, installed it in 90 mins, and I am a happy camper.

Description of Work: They put in a toilet and fixed some shut off valves which were leaking. The toilet they recommended was on the expensive side, but has been well worth it. Very comfortable and always does the job (unlike the previous one which often backed up). The plumber who showed up knew exactly what he was doing, showed up on time and did what was needed. While the price is more than what Home Depot quoted on their sign, it was all-inclusive with no nickle and diming after he got on site. All parts were also included in the initially quoted price. It's nice to not have surprises for maintenance work.

Description of Work: Snaked drain to clear clogg. Husband tried first unknowingly taking the bathtub gasket out and causing a major flood of water from the tub down the drain. We thought he broke a pipe, bUT the plumber quickly observed when he came what the situation really was...not a broken pipe. He put the tub gasket back and leak was gone. Then he proceeded to properly snake out the drain. Quick response time to my call, very professional and although I gave a B for price, I think all plumbers charge too much.

Description of Work: We always have a list of things for Wacker to do when they come to our home. From testing/replacing our sump pump and repairing toilets, Wacker always does a great job. We have been using Wacker for 15+ years! We wouldn't use anyone else!

Description of Work: Wacker was only local plumber who actually answered their phone at their advertised 0730am opening. Responded very quickly and professionally to clear my backed up sewer system.
