I really actually liked Wacker Plumbing. I actually called them and they slot me in whenever it was the quickest. The only thing with plumbing is that with the water leaking, you're always thinking of damage and they didn't have any after hour's service. I had wished for after hour's service. They used to have it but I don't know what happened. Their price is a little on the high side. At the end of the day they do good work.

Wacker was recommended to me several years ago and I use Wacker for all my plumbing needs. I scheduled the service call and the plumber arrived at the scheduled time. He was professional and had all the tools and material to complete the job. He cleaned up the mess he made and left the area in the condition he found it.

Our realtor recommended updating our master bath before putting the house on the market. We decided to replace the out-of-date brass shower stall and fixtures with nickel. We didn't want to spend a fortune, but wanted it to look sharp and updated. Wacker had redone the entire shower down to the studs and installed our brass stall with frosted glass in a few years back. We explained the situation and they were able to get an exact match to the stall, except in nickel w/ clear glass, saving us a fortune in tear-out and re-tiling - virtually nothing had to be done except detach the old stall, attach the new nickel one. We also worked with them to get quality nickel plumbing fixtures at a reasonable price. They understood that we didn't want to spend a fortune on a house we were leaving, but that it had to look good. They were quick to respond to all calls, and scheduled us quickly. The plumber was pleasant, fast, careful and clean. He was in and out in a few hours and it looks and functions great.

Overall very happy from the initial phone call where the receptionist was very understanding due to the need for heat and small kids to the technicians to arrive. He gave me his opinion but did not want to tell me what to do. He let me make the decision to replace an 18 year old water heater (useful life of +/- 10 years). Job was done in 2 to 3 hours.

They are my plumbers. The last job done by them was fine. They always do a good job. They are very professional. They come out when they are scheduled. They are knowledgeable. They have trouble-shooted some problems. They are all very well trained. I have been using them ever since I have moved here. I had a problem with them just once where I disagreed about something that was done and they were very good. Another reason why I have stayed with them is that they are very professional and wanted to keep me as a customer. There was no problem. When they last came out, I had them do the inside part of the job and someone else did the outside part of the job. So the inside part of the job was about $165 to $175. You pay them by the hour. They are not cheap nor are they expensive, but they deliver. They are good. The price for the last job was reasonable. I once didn?t have hot water coming through the kitchen faucet and the plumber charged me $ 105 to actually diagnose the problem. I had a frozen pipe and he told me what to do with my main water so that it wouldn?t flood the house. I was lucky that it turned out that the pipe wasn?t broken and the problem actually was because the people who did my siding forgot to put trim on the window and so cold air got underneath the kitchen sink. They charged me only $105 and they helped me to do something to remedy the situation until it was fixed. I would have had a bigger problem if they wouldn?t have done that. They are really good and fine. They actually charged me less than what their hourly fee is. I asked them why I had to pay that much just for diagnosing the problem. However, the plumber went beyond the call and didn?t overcharge me. They send people to help you out when you become their loyal customer over time. I haven?t compared them with other plumbers because I really trust them. There is another plumber they once recommended to me who was slightly expensive than them and they are just as good. I would use their services in the future too.

I was very happy with the work performed. I have used Wacker for my plumbing issues for almost 20 years and have always been quite happy with their work.

I have always been real happy with them. They show up on time and are reasonably priced as far as plumbers go in this area. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. They are competitively priced for plumbers in the area.

Wacker Plumbing remodeled our powder room, putting in a new tile floor, sink, toilet, and adding a shower, including installing new plumbing where needed. They were professional from start to finish, including designing the new bathroom, working with us to choose the tile, and suggesting different priced options for the shower doors, etc. to stay within our budget. The job began and ended when they said it would. The guys who did the remodeling work were very nice, polite, communicative, neat, extremely competent, and on time. After the job was done, there was a small issue with the floor grout that was resolved promptly. We could not be happier with the way the job turned out, the work was high quality and the bathroom looks beautiful.

We actually had them come out to our townhouse twice last year, both times hooking up the plumbing to our vanity. Can't remember the exact dates, but one was in March and the other in October. Both times the technicians were extremely friendly and hooked up our plumbing in less than 30 minutes. In our powder room we just finished painting 5 minutes before they showed up and the tech made sure not to brush up on the walls. We highly recommend these guys and will use them again in the future if needed.

They are good but I think their prices are high. They seemed to be very honest but I think they charge more than what is necessary compared to what I have been charged in the past for the same thing. They were okay. They came in and fixed it. They were on time. They were pleasant. They were here a half of an hour or less.

They are very responsive and careful about how they do their work, informing you as they go along. They're also very conscientious and responsble. We've had them do plumbing work a couple of times, and they always seem to do it right. Previously they fixed a bathtub leak that no other plumber had been able to fix.

Our 10-year old propane gas water heater started intermittently shutting itself down. We were able to start the heater again by turning it off and then turning it on. After tiring of this process, we found Wacker Plumbing in Sterling, VA with the help of Angie's List and called them for three reasons: they had a great rating, they didn't charge a standard fee to show up at our door, and they serviced Purcellville. Brian Wacker came out within a day or so, started troubleshooting our water heater, recommending that we replace a module on the appliance. He located the module and returned to install it. The water heater ran fine for several days and started shutting down again. Called Brian and he came right out, made adjustments and left to give the heater one more chance. After it randomly failed again, Brian said that propane water heaters are difficult at best and that he could go on replacing parts but wasn't sure if we would get a good life out of it. We decided to replace the water heater. Brian gave us fair estimates on replacing with another propane heater or going electric. We decided to go with the electric water heater so there is at least one appliance in our house that doesn't suck up the high-cost propane. Brian was professional, honest, courteous, on-time, and fair. I wouldn't hesitate to use Wacker Plumbing again and I recommend them to anyone.

They provided me the quality Kohler toilets that I wanted for a fair price. Another plumber that I contacted could only provide an unwanted Toto brand toilet. The new toilets work great. While they were at my house, the plumber quickly unplugged a slow drain in my bathroom for no extra charge. He also fixed an outdoor faucet that had been leaking for years. Other plumbers had worked on the faucet but their repairs were only temporary.

They were supposed to come out and take a look at a plumbing problem.All they said was the sewage eject pump they restarte it and it is working. I was not happy with the experience. They never did call before they came to the place. After the work the technician said he thinks there was some inconsistancy in the sewage eject system and he recommended replacing it. I asked to talk to the technician and aksed if he was sure or if he was just guessing and I have not received a call back yet. I found that they were very poor in terms as interacting with the customer.

I was given a 2 hour window of time and the plumber showed up in the first 10 minutes. This was a tricky task finding the source of the leak as it was coming through the floor board down an opening for a water pipe and the hole for the pipe was in the wall between the dining room and kitchen. The only way to locate the leak was to cut through the walls and trace its source. The source was 2 levels up in the master bath which was on one side of the house whereas the leak worked it's way between the walls and floors to a location in the middle of the house 2 levels down. Once located, the cracked seal was fixed very, very quickly. We have to patch the holes in the wall and ceiling but I must say the dry wall cuttings were very neat, which should help in the repair. Brian was the plumber and he was very professional and left the area clean. He was also very nice to my pets which is a good indication of a person's character : -) I was so grateful for his tenacity. He wouldn't give up until he was sure he found the source of the water. And, while he was there, he was able to replace a hose to another toilet that had been dripping - just charged for the new part. After spending a couple of hours to locate that leak with a lot of running up and down the stairs, I felt I got more than my money's worth. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wacker Plumbing.

came out promptly and provided estimate. Higher than anticipated, we eliminated some of the additional / optional items for the master and another bath, to just focus on primary area of need. Had to chase them for the new estimate. Still seemed a bit high, however, liked dealing with the local company. They started when they committed to start, and completed on time. All materials used were of high quality and the workmanship was excellent. The workers were Wacker employees, not subs, and good ol' clean cut American boys who kept us informed of their progress and when they were going for lunch and would be back and asked if they had any questions vs. just guessing or making assumptions. They did an excellent job of protecting area's to being worked on and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day.

Overall it was fine; when the plumber arrived he recommended that I buy a new toilet instead of reinstalling the old one (he advised that the model I had was low quality and would start leaking and stop flushing over time). He recommended I go buy a specific other model, which I did, and he returned 2 days later to install it for me instead. He just charged me labor time for the return trip, which I appreciated very much. Very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable.

It went fairly well. The reason why I ended up choosing them was because due to the type of shower door that I wanted, other companies wanted to cut a hole in the wall in order to install this door. This company did not have to install it this way. Also, the man who was making and installing the shower door came to perform measurements as well, which I liked. The other companies were going to measure and then send the measurements to another person, which could result in inaccuracy.

The work was completed on two dates covered by one service charge. Arrived at the stated time and quickly completed the work described. There were no surprises. This is the only company I'll call for plumbing work.

I have used them twice. They have always been responsive. They were fairly priced too. They did a very good job and were trustworthy. I was pleased with their work. I wanted to have the faucet replaced, but they said there was no need and that an adjustment would fix it.

It was great, I called them that day, and they were able to come that afternoon to install the water heater.

I was concerned about the flooring in the kitchen being torn when the old dishwasher was removed and the new dishwasher installed. Wacker gave me a time of betwwen 8-10 am. The plumber showed up at 9:30 and disconnected the old dishwasher then called the office for additional help. He said he would be back with help between 3-5pm. They did an excellent job but I believe the cost was out of line. I should have asked for an estimate over the phone. I don't know if they would have been willing to give an estimate over the telephone.

Work was done quickly and professionally and to my satisfaction.

After I unsuccessfully tried for days to clear the stoppage, I finally gave up. I called the first plumbing company and he said that that first he could make it was next week. I called Wacker's and they gave me a 3PM - 5 PM appointment the next day. I arrived home at 2:55 and Wacker's was waiting for me at the house (very impressive). The work was done ver professionally (and quickly) and I appreciated every bit of the visit and will definitely use them again without hesitation.

The project went smoothly. The project took 2 1/2 days to complete. Each day, the two man team arrived on time, and worked two full days. The team is skilled, and they worked quietly together without disruption. Each morning when they arrived, they put down drop cloths thoughout the house, and cleaned each day before they left the property. All in all, an excellent job. I gave a Wacker Plumbing a "B" on price, because it seems like a lot of money for 2 1/2 days work. The materials aren't expensive, but their labor charge seems high.
