Outstanding service. Adhered to time schedule. Care of property during installation and the clean up were excellent. Roof looks superb.

OK. But I was left hanging for 3 weeks without any word on the staus. Installation has re-scheduled.

Had three contractors come out and look at my leaky roof. Shiner did the most thorough inspection, was the only vendor to offer two solutions (repair or replace), and was price competitive with the other two quotes. This is actually my second time using them for a roof, and I'd use them again. My only ding is on scheduling. They had a very long backlog and so I had to wait months for them to do the job. Also, they neglected to call me - just showed up at my house one day and began working. This was an issue only because I had items in my attic I wanted to protect from construction debris. Overall, a very positive experience.

Roof replacement went well. They were about the middle of the road price wise, but had great reviews so seemed to be a good balance of quality and cost. Overall, happy with the work.

Attempted to obtain an estimate of work for replacement gutters and while talking with the estimator I went ahead and discussed windows and siding with him. He came back a couple days later to gather measurements for the windows and siding. The estimator was prompt and pleasant to work with. However, we are now over a month later and I have yet to receive an actual estimate. I've attempted to contact the company a couple times now and still haven't received a callback with details of an estimate or an explanation of delay.

Shiner Roofing replaced our roof, gutters, eleven leaking skylights, and provided some attic insulation, and deck boards. Sales personnel were trustworthy, knowledgeable, and professional. Shiner Roofing did a top installation job exceeding expectations for efficiency, quality, and work organization. Workers cleaned up during and after job completion. Our experience with Shiner was first rate, from the Salesman (Ryan Turner) to the Quality Inspector (Joe Ross) to the wonderful teams who performed the work. Ryan worked closely with us to decide on the products and gave us a number of locations where different shingle colors had been installed on other homes, in order to help us pick the best one for our home. Joe helped us with questions we had during the installation process and ensured that the finished job met our expectations. The quality of the installation is truly excellent, with a number of important steps and techniques required to meet the Certainteed criteria for extended warrantees. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would highly recommend Shiner to anyone who desires a top quality product, responsive interactions, and professional behavior.

I needed to replace a large section of my roof because, thanks to completely inadequate ventilation, we had a good deal of mold in our attic. Shiner Roofing worked with our mold contractor to coordinate their replacement of the roof (plywood and all) with the mold contractor's HEPA sanding of the rafters. Shiner's representative walked me through a number of options, including an inexpensive option that, for a variety of reasons, he did not recommend (but was willing to offer). We went with the more complete (and more expensive) solution, and Shiner did good work, were prompt, and they honored their proposal cost (plus a SMALL additional fee for some unexpected rafter repair work). I'd definitely recommend Shiner to others looking for roofing work.

I requested estimates from two companies for the complete replacement of all roof shingles. It took one day to get an appointment with Shiner Roofing. The Sales Consultant spent two hours at my home inspecting and answering my questions, gave me a brochure regarding the shingles offered by Shiner, and gave me an estimate on the spot. The estimate included the replacement of 5 over-sized vents with ridge vents for attic ventilation. This was good because, over the years, wildlife entered the attic via the over-sized vents. Even though the vents were sealed with steel screens, wildlife would return and try to break through. My research indicated that the shingles offered by Shiner, along with its ventilation system, is tops among shingles. Regarding the other company from which I requested an estimate: It was a week before I could get an appointment, and another 3 days before I received the estimate. I was told the type of shingles that would be installed but I didn’t receive a brochure or other information regarding the shingles. And my attic vents would be upgraded with new vents. While Shiner was more expensive, I found the company to be top quality, they met my requirements, and did an excellent job installing the new roof and cleaning up afterwards. The only issue was that the company that delivered the shingles leaked some sort of fluid on the driveway. As such, Shiner had the driveway power washed to correct this issue. Overall, I found Shiner to be a top quality company.

I was very pleased with the work done by Shiner Roofing. The work was done on schedule and efficiently. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. This was my first experience with Shiner Roofing and I would recommend them to others.

The work was efficient and the product (ProVia) is wonder. The company provided an estimate promptly following my inquiry. The representative clearly outlined the options, costs, timelines and process. The cost of the door was higher than I anticipated but I have used the company before and been very satisfied with the work and the product so didn’t hesitate to contract the company for the installation.

It took a while due to their backlog of roof repairs and since it wasn’t a major emergency we were fine waiting a few months. My husband said the installer was a true professional and did a great job.

We had a couple of leaks, but they made sure they were covered because they had a back log of roofing jobs. They did our work within the time frame they had estimated. They were extremely professional, cleaned up afterwards, came out and inspected their work several times after they had completed it. We didn't think the price was out of line. In the end, their excellent work and attention to detail made it well worth the price.

Overall, The quality of the product and work was excellent. Where it did not go well is when the twice they had to stop work because they did not estimate enough product to complete the job. What should have been a 4-6 day job overall turned into a 4-5 week project, waiting for product to arrive and the house siding was already removed. Not good since we had some bad weather in between. But in the end, the did great work and the three crews (siding, roof and gutters) were great and knew their stuff. I definitely recommend Shiner for the best value, just make sure they order enough materials, especially when it is special order.

Great!! First, they kept in touch with us from the day we signed the contract until the day they started the work. They covered everything outside, moved any furniture, etc., kept it clean & picked up. They worked quickly, courteously & finished in record time! They even replaced a lot of shingles that had been blown off of our shed in the windstorms, & they matched the shingles perfectly. We love our new roof, it looks wonderful!

Their service and work is outstanding. We have a 3,600 sq ft Acorn Deck House that has special roofing requirements. They responded quickly to our request and did a professional assessment of our roof’s requirements. Because our roof had leaks and we were facing heavy rains they did short term repairs that saved us from a lot of damage. This very large roof was installed exactly as specified in the contract - within the bid price and the work was completed in two days. They were very careful to protect our landscaping and thoroughly cleaned up after the job including using magnets to pick up any stray nails. Neighbors have complemented the roof. They do top quality professional work and we would use them again.

The work scheduled was delayed slightly due to inclement weather. However, overall customer service communicating the delay in initial start date worked to reassure us as clients that the work would be performed as soon as possible. Professional, concise and did not over-charge. When a problem with the roof layer needed to be replaced, it was done with a one-time reasonable charge. Appreciated great team work in performing duties of roof installation, gutter system.

Shiner's employees were extremely professional, and we were ultimately pleased with the roof replacement. They completed the project in two days, including a thorough clean-up. The roof looks great, and we have had no problems. My only concern was the amount of time between the date we signed the contract (May 31) and the date they began the work (August 30). Based on a discussion with the salesperson, we had understood that the work would be done sometime between mid July and early August. Even accounting for a larger number than usual of rainy days this summer, we believed that Shiner would start and complete the project much earlier than they did. Nevertheless, their workmanship and professionalism were very good.
