They came on time and removed the broken sliding glass door and installed the new sliding glass door. They were very careful not to damage the remote controlled blinds (removed and then replaced back again). They cleaned up well afterward, inside and out. The price was what we asked for and included a discount too.

I contacted Shiner Exteriors directly through their website. Their representative called within 20 minutes of me sending the email request for a quote. The damage (rear soffit on a 4-story townhome) was assessed and repaired within 6 days of my initial contact. Work was done efficiently, clean-up after the job was completed was great and there were no attempts to "up-sell" any other services.

Shiner is your go to contractor. We have used Shiner twice in the last for years for roof replacement. Shiner provides roofing that meets best practices and industry standards for materials and installation at a competitive price they are fast, efficient with install personnel who are very respective and reflect on customer expectations.

Service was completed several days before expected. Bringing everything up to code was done at a reasonable price with a 25 year warranty including labor (if due to faulty installation). Would definitely rehire and recommend.

We had to wait a week for the consultation, but the engineers did the tarps the next day. I will say Shriner is rarely the lowest cost, but the did our roof and replaced our siding , and the quality of their work makes it money well spent.

Excellent from start to finish. The initial inspection was thorough and the assessment honest (verified in comparison with inspections conducted by other prospective contractors). The representative took the time to share his findings in detail, answer all of our questions, walk us through the roofing process, and provided samples of all of the materials that would be used on our roof. We were provided with a detailed cost estimate, again with an opportunity to have any cost explained and all questions answered. We were particularly impressed - and reassured by the warranties on workmanship and materials. The roofing crew arrived early, we're efficient, professional, and worked tirelessly to ensure the job was completed in one day. Photos were taken (shared with us) and inspections conducted throughout the day with a final, detailed sign-off inspection performed the following day. In sum, we have been impressed with every Shiner representative we worked with and couldn't be more pleased with the final product - our beautiful new roof.

From the first time Bill came to our house to give us an estimate on a new roof (btw, he was the only estimator of the 4 companies we solicited bids from that actually went up on the roof to inspect the job) until project supervisor Eric signed off on the completed work the Shiner team were outstanding to deal with and the highest level of professionalism. They were terrific about communicating throughout the process and demonstrated the highest standards of workmanship.

Shiner did a great and thorough job. Although it took longer than originally expected, Shiner honored its estimate and completed the job fully. The roof looks great and appears to be of very high quality. We had some concerns about certain issues and they made sure that all such concerns were addressed.

We highly recommend Shiner Roofing. We had 4 estimates and Shiner’s price was in the middle. All the elements of a roof installation were explained but there was no hard sell pressure. We had seen the quality of their work in the neighborhood and knew they had been in business for 40 years. They did a great job of installing the new roof. After the shingles and tar paper came off we found the original decking was rotting. The project manager explained why we should get new decking even though it would be an added expense. He had taken multiple photos to show us the rotted and warped areas. The supplies arrived in a timely manner, and the clean up was complete. Everyone we worked with was pleasant and professional. I liked the extra step of spray painting black the metal pipes that come out of the roof. I had never seen that before and it blends the pipes with the shingles. The project manager came by the next day to inspect the completed job. A most satisfying experience.

From the sales guy to the office staff, everyone was great to work with. They were reasonable, responsive and professional. They did a great job and were meticulous in cleaning up afterwards.

Shiner roofing was great. The estimator was very thorough and went up on the roof and took pictures and videos of my current roof to show me where there were issues. I also had many detailed follow up questions which he was quick to reply to with detailed answers. Signing of the contract through Docusign was easy and the contract was very detailed and clear. The roof work was completed in one day. Since they use subs to complete the work, they had someone come out from Shiner to inspect the roof work the next day and he identified some spots that had to be fixed since there were some footprints/scuffing since it was so hot (90+) they day they installed the shingles, They were back within 2 days to fix it. Our new roof looks great! We would not hesitate to use Shiner roofing again.

Very well. The crew worked in intense heat and sun but still managed to complete the job on time and on budget. The work looks great and was commented upon favorably by staff for the attic-renovation work that followed. Very pleased.

Overll it went well. There were some issues on the ground, not actually on, or with the roof. A blue plastic tarp that was ours, which we had used to cover some benches that we couldn't bring into the house, was taken by the work crew, very likely because the blue plastic tarp was almost identical to theirs. We are supposed to get the tarp back. Also, a small garden sculpture was partially broken, and there is a discussion about it's replacement by Shiner.

The estimater was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. It took us a while to get the appropriate permits from the Homeowners Association and the City, however, once that was done, the work began almost immediately. Very professional team of workers - the vertical slope of the mansard roof is challenging and has to be done from a ladder. We had rain and they made sure nothing was exposed. The back-office kept us updated so we knew when to expect the workers, and they also provided photographs. They had to replace one section of the plywood sheathing because it was rotten. Shiner Roofing's price was within $100 of what our homeowners insurance was willing to pay. The roof looks awesome, and the house feels tighter. We are very pleased.

Very smooth! Shiner Roofing thoroughly inspected our roof which they documented with pictures, There inspection also brought to our attention that our chimney was need of repair. We agreed on materials and the price and established a schedule based on weather conditions. On installation day they arrived on schedule and completed the installation in one day. They protected our plants and left no mess. A great experience. A few days later there inspector came by and checked the work. We used Shiner many years ago for our first replacement roof. They were great then and still are!

Sales guy told me he thought they could do without needing to put a ladder to neighbor’s roof (I have a townhouse). So I didn’t talk to neighbors. Normal practice is for them to call the evening prior to performing work. If I knew when they were coming I might have talked to them anyway, but they called me evening prior. Turns out they even had to put a ladder on each of their decks to do the job. One neighbor wasn’t home, I hope she doesn’t mind. For the skylight job, scheduler promised that I didn’t need to be present, I made them wait because I wanted to be here to make sure everything went smoothly, and good thing I did. The installers came through the house a few times (easier access), but after removing the old skylights they realized they needed to cut back drywall to fit new ones in. I had to put drop cloths down to catch debris and clean up. If I hadn’t been home what would they have done? Leave a whole in my roof or put the old skylights back?!? After they left, I noticed the skylights were not installed centered in the opening, (probably so they could avoid trimming the drywall on both sides) now the interior trim looks off unbalanced from inside.

Workmanship was excellent, appointments kept as scheduled, etc. Everyone I communicated with was very nice, responsive, and professional.

Installed quickly and quietly on date and at time scheduled.
