Shiner responded quickly to our call after we had experienced hail damage to our home. They provided a very professional estimate for the roof replacement and offered to answer any questions. When we indicated that we were working with State Farm Insurance for the replacement the Shiner representative offered to engage directly with State Farm to confirm the estimates and secure full funding. Shiner recommended affordable product with excellent quality ratings and long term warranties. The Shiner team arrived per their committed schedule dates and completed our project in a reasonable amount of time. They had an expert crew for the metal roofing and a separate crew for the asphalt shingle roof. Based on other repairs happening on the roof the Shiner team was asked to adjust their workscope. They engaged quickly and were able to modify the scope without any additional fees. Both crews did a good job cleaning up the debris from the roof replacement.

Repair went well. Worker's were punctual and very professional. There was a delay in getting the work done due to their full schedule. Expected for quality workers.

Homeowners who are comparison shopping beware of Shiners. If you miss their appointment, they will continue to call you multiple times a day even within minutes apart. Their estimator isn't "allowed" on the roof to inspect gutters and a satellite dish near the edge of my lower roof edge (i.e. you don't have to be on the roof). After missing the appointment by minutes due to an emergency, their estimator and then manger left me messages within minutes apart. The manager didn't sound happy and told me that he would have his receptionist contact me to reschedule. One would assume that three calls from a company on the same day would be more than enough, if not too much. But it didn't end there with Shiners.... Shiner called me multiple times daily leaving messages to "reschedule" when I was at work without phone access. I thought any company would end any further contacts maybe the next day....but not Shiners.... After a week later, they called me 30 minutes apart (while I was driving on the highway) and after I told them that I already had the work completed. I told them to stop calling because they were harassing me. No apologies. Their competitor was able to provide an estimate without requiring me to wait at a vacant property, their competitor did the work immediately the day after and for much less. Their competitor understood that people, like me, are very busy and have long daytime jobs. That's what I was looking for and asked companies as I was comparison shopping. Why would Shiner keep calling and leave messages daily asking *if* I wanted to reschedule. Even calling multiple times a day. Clearly, they are trying to harass as it makes absolutely no business sense to think they are going to get a positive customer experience like telemarketers. I've since blocked their number just in case I receive any further calls.

Fine, work was done neatly, on time, and clad materials used to avoid future rot.

Their sales and office staff were responsive and easy to work with. Their roofing crew was professional, diligent and left the site clean when work was complete. This is the second time Shiner has replaced a roof for me and I would not hesitate to have them do work again.

They arrived early worked hard and were very careful of my shingles & they searched the grounds for wayward nails & pieces of shingles-excellent work.

Excellent. My roof is 17 years old so they priced a repair (Plywood/shingles/pipe boots/labor) and also priced a new roof. In the end we decided to do the repair as I have 3-5 years life left in the roof. I plan to use them when I replace the roof. The repair work was excellent and the price competitive. They are a very professional company who know what they are doing and use high quality products.

We looked at several window companies and got bids. Shiner came in at a more reasonable price and more around what we were expecting for both windows and roofing. The salesman was down to earth and not pushy at all. We liked that. The windows were good quality as well. The other bidders where at least $7000 higher. At any rate, we decided on Shiner as well because they had replaced a wall of windows 10 years earlier and had done a nice job. They came to do the windows first and they did a very nice job very quickly. They did forget to charge us the lead abatement fee and billed us later. They did discount this fee after we discussed it with them. They did the roof equally nicely and replaced any old wood. The only issue was that one of the roof edges ended up slightly longer than the old roof on one side which made the gutter less effective and rain poured over the gutter when we had downpours. They suggested installing a wider gutter and gave us a quote, but we have put that on a to do list for later. All of the Shiner employees were nice and easy to work with and they scheduled quickly and kept in contact with us. Overall, we are very pleased with the windows and roof and we have been impressed with the workmanship.

Crew showed up on time and worked for well over ten hours. It was a very hot day and I don't know how they did it. They had to come into house for a couple things and were very nice and professional. It was not a cheap job but it looks great.

Shiner did a great job. This work was necessary because the mansard portion of my roof was not done properly when Shiner redid my roof some 12 years ago. Shiner spent the cost of the repair with me even though the roof was no longer under warranty. The roof looks great and they did a great job on the repair. And I was pleased Shiner stood by its earlier work on my roof.

The work was done smoothly (the worker worked on the roof for 5 hours without stopping!). We haven't found any water leak after that.
