PERFECT LANDSCAPES LLC

Wonderful service! A team of two showed up first thing in the morning and got right to work. I have no idea how long it took them, since my husband and I were both at work, so it was a fantastic surprise when we got home. We've been using Perfect Landscapes for lawn service this past year, and they didn't disappoint when it came to other yard work. It's so nice to have a non-embarrassing front yard again! As for the price, I marked that as "good," but only because I didn't get any other quotes. It seems like a lot for a few hours of work that I could do myself, BUT I haven't done it and undoubtedly won't do it in the future. It's worth it to me to hire a professional company while I do something that I enjoy. What I paid could be a great deal or way overpriced; take that rating with a grain of salt. Bottom line: I am incredibly happy with the service we received and will use Perfect Landscapes for our future yard maintenance and design needs.

I am using Perfect Landscapes right now and they are superb. They are not finished yet, they wrapped up stage 1 yesterday. The staff are skilled, polite and they're doing a great job. The owner, Christian, speaks to you and they are flexible and very knowledgeable.

Bushes and trees were removed that we did not request, however the sod and mulch installation was performed per our request and according to the proposal we agreed upon. This provider did correct the error by replacing the trees and bushes that were inadvertently removed with 7 new bushes and 3 new lilac trees upon our request. We learned from this experience to be very specific about the work that you want done and communicate clearly what needs to be done, for example, what items should be cleaned up and removed and what shouldn't. I do wish this company had offered more options, again for example the types of sod/grass that were available for installation. We perhaps would have chosen a different grass other the long fescue that we received for a softer type of grass that might be available. But all in all the experience with Perfect Landscapers LLC was very pleasant, great people to deal with and the job at the end was very nicely done.

Overall it went well but we had to contact the company a few times to confirm the work. On the day of service, we noticed that some work we requested was not performed. We contacted the company and they came out a few days later to fix what was not completed

I called several weeks in advance to book an appointment for a consultation. I was given a time and a specific landscaper- Robert- for the consultation.I had to ask off of work in advance since they could only accommodate me mid-afternoon. On the phone I provided them with my phone and email, as well as details of what we were hoping for with landscaping. I came home and waited until half an hour after the appointment time before calling the company. There was no record of my appointment, even though the woman who answered the phone "remembered me calling". I have since checked both my email and phone messages- I never received any follow up prior to the appointment day. Disappointing. UPDATE- I got a letter in the mail apologizing for the confusion on the appointment. It was incredibly professional and offered to have the landscaper come by at no cost to us for an estimate. I have updated the ratings based on this.

We are so disappointed! After meeting with Robert Work, we thought we had found a company that would take care of our lawn for years to come. Our disappointment is NOT with Robert. It is with the complete lack of supervision this company provides to their crews. Here is a list of issues we have had: 1. Spring clean-up: Dead branches left on evergreen shrubs and ground vinca not cut back as asked. When we asked to have the ground vinca cut back, they said they would do so when they installed some new plants in the front beds. This was only partially completed when they installed the new plants (see below). 2. Installation of new plants: The crews cut back existing Coreopsis to install new plants. This was NOT part of the job and should have never been done. The new plants they installed were not evenly spaced and looked horrible. Some of the ground vinca was cut back (this should have been done two months earlier during the spring clean-up) but the crew "forgot" to cut back a section in the front of the house where I had been waiting to plant annuals. Drip lines had extensive damage due to planting. 3. Installation of river stone in back bed: We had a small section of large edging stones that was not keeping the mulch in place on a downhill sloping bed. We asked that either they install more of the large edging stones around the rest of the bed, or replace them with river stone. I came home one day to find that the crew dumped river stone without any bed preparation. They did not cut back any of the ground vinca nor did they leave any space for the bed to be edged (the lawn grass will now grow right through the stones). The old stones (large edging stones) were left in at the bottom of the bed. It looked HORRIBLE! 4. Crews asked to come back to fix #2 and #3 above. They finally pruned the ground vinca from the front flower bed but noted that they did not have any mulch to add to the bed. They removed the old stones from the back bed and added more river stone (still left no room to edge the bed and ground vinca not cut back). They re-distributed the front plants but they are still not evenly spaced. I asked them to take two out because they were crammed in, but they did not do so. They did not bring any top soil to fill in the old holes (so there are visible divots). They said they would return with mulch, but never did. 5. Original lawn mowing plan clearly specified the use a 21" mower. After the first month of mowing, I was home one afternoon and found the crew was using a large 30" mower (which explains why the back was looking torn up--from the large wheels). They did switch to a smaller mower after we complained, but I suspect the last mow was done once again with the larger mower. The problem with this company is not that they do not respond to customer complaints. They do. The problem is, that you get the same unsupervised crews that continue to do work that is far less than what "Perfect Landscapes" claims they provide.

Great. We used perfect landscapes for 6 months, and only stopped after my wife was laid off and we needed to save $$. The crews were professional, courteous, and always worked hard and fast to execute perfect lawn maintenance with minimal fuss or inefficiency. We would definitely use them again.

I have been using Perfect Landscapes since 2007 and service has been excellent and professional. Workers are prompt, neat, competent and polite. The office staff has always been responsive to my questions and resolved every issue (always minor) quickly and to my pleasant satisfaction. I recommended Perfect Landscapes to my neighbor who has also been satisfied. I recommend them without reservation for lawn service.

The guys from Perfect Landscapes were excellent. They were very prompt, very pleasant and very reasonable. They sent a lot of people. So they were done in about two and a half hours.

They were quick to respond when i called for an estimate. Everything was very detailed on their paperwork. They have different "teams" who each have their own jobs (i.e., the mowers, the weeders, the mulchers, the stone layers, etc.) All are very courteous. We chose them because of other recommendations from Angie's List and wanted a "Perfect" landscaper to take care of our yard before we decide to put it on the market. Our yard is looking great!

I have used Perfect Landscapes for about 6 or 7 years now. They have been terrific and professional. Although they may not be the cheapest alternative out there, I have learned that you get what you pay for. They are always courteous, timely and responsive to emails. There work is always great and if it wasn't, they did not hesitate to come back out to make the problem right. They have even mowed my lawn plenty of times with very short notice when my own lawn mower broke down. My lawn has always been lush, green and the envy of my neighborhood. I would love to take full credit for it but honestly Perfect Landscapes does a great job. My lawn even stays green through out the winter when other lawns in my neighborhood go completely brown.

I contacted this provider via email and received a quick call back. I explained the job and they let me know that they were scheduling out to July. I said that might be to late but was still interested in hearing their estimate. I was called back a day later (today) and they informed me that they were going to have to pass on my job without even coming to look at what I needed done and providing an estimate. While I can appreciate that they're busy because of the season, I got the impression that they decided to pass on my job because it was small (pruning several shrubs and two trees behind my townhouse). I also don't understand why it took them a full 24 hours to decide that my job wasn't worth their time, this is something they should have just told me up front. This is disappointing, because I was hoping to find a company I could use year after year to maintain my back yard. Hopefully I can find someone else on Angie's List who has time for the smaller jobs to help!

It was way too expensive. What they were going to do was more work than I thought needed to be done and the price was three times more than anybody else.

The last time they came, I was not pleased as they mowed some areas way too short. They mowed so short that there is no grass. They should have taken the time to edge separately in those areas. They are consistent, professional, and quick with the work. I just had the one issue on the last visit and that is a deal breaker as we do have to plant new grass.

I have an annual contract with this company and they have consistently done a good job for us. They always show up on time.

Perfect Landscapes is an excellent company to work with. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is very good. We had a few minor issues with a couple of the lighting fixtures, and Rob was diligent about coming back to adjust them until we were satisfied.

I am considering using them this spring but I have made no commitment yet. They were very pleasant, professional and easy to deal with. I did have to wait three weeks before I can even get them out here for an estimate which seemed like a long time. Other than that, they did meet their deadlines as to when they had promised they would get sketches and estimates to me.

Overall, the job was well done for a reasonable price (not super low). The stone retaining wall has actually drawn praise from strangers stopping by to ask who did the work. Initially, the wall was not done quite right, because the supervisor was on vacation. He made it right upon his return. The landscaping was well done except we did not like the placement of the bushes. The company readily moved the bushes as requested.

I am very pleased with the enhancement to my home. Moreover, since the installation they have done minor service work (i.e. replace burnt bulbs). It is particularly pleasant that whenever there is a problem I have access to the ever accomodating and pleasant owner - Christian Brown. Happy Holidays!

Rob Work arranged a time to review my request in person and iterated a proposal in writing via email until we were both in agreement. His crew was on time and courteous, reviewing the planned work with me before I started work. When I inspected their work that evening, I discovered their pruning was sub-par. After contacting Rob, he had the crew and a lead supervisor out the next morning to clean up the pruning, which now looks great! Well done!

Robert from perfect landscape was very responsive. He made time in his schedule to come out right away and give us an estimate as he knew we were anxious to get started with our project. Robert was professional and knowledgeable. He sent a very detailed estimate within 2 business days. He was extra great because we had to have him revise it several times (due to changes and concerns on our part) and he was so patient about it! We had bids from 2 other companies and decided to go with perfect landscape because we trusted Robert and felt confident with his detailed proposal that we would get what we asked for. Their price was reasonable and in the ball park of the other estimates we got and even a little lower. Our project was very big as we had sod installed in the front and back yard so the ground had to be smoothed out. The two men that did the job were very friendly and hard working. Robert was an excellent liaison and any questions or concerns we had along the way he was always there to reassure us that we would be pleased with the finished product. It can be stressful to see your yard ripped apart for a few days, but Robert was so prompt on answering any questions we had. Robert even worked with our irrigation company to make sure that the timing of the sod and irrigation lined up just right. The end product is simply amazing! Our yard looks so beautiful and we could not be more pleased that we chose perfect landscape. We our happy to have found a landscaping company that we can trust and will will definitely use them in the future for all of our landscaping needs. Robert truly went above and beyond and so did the crew. Thank you perfect landscapes!

My husband travels and our lawn was a disaster. Robert from Perfect Landscapes came over and gave me an estimate. It was right on the money. They did a "Spectacular Job" with our lawn. When my hubby came back, he was extremely pleased.

The crew was punctual, courteous and very hard working.....Robert and his crew went above and beyond......We would highly recommend this company........

Our regular landscaper was impossible to reach. After numerous efforts at trying to get a response, I gave up and went to Angie's List where I found Perfect Landscapes. Shockingly, I received almost an immediate response, a home visit a few days later, and an electronic detailed proposal with estimate within a few hours after the home visit. The work was done the following week and the landscapers exceeded our expectations, did more work than specified in the proposal, left everything clean & neat, and sent an electronic final invoice a few days later. I am already planning on using Perfect Landscapes again in the Spring for another clean-up, new flower beds, planting, and an over-haul of our tiny back yard.
