I had used a very well known lawn service for years and was very unhappy with the results. My lawn had multiple bare spots and many weeds even though we had regular over seeding and a turf care program. They kept telling me my problem was not enough sun and refused my request to send someone out to meet with me even though the person on the other end of the phone admitted that the picture I sent him was the worst lawn he'd ever seen. So Perfect Landscapes had done some work on my pond and I contacted Christian to see if his company could restore my lawn. They came and provided the aeration, over seeding, and top dressing that it needed and I couldn't be more pleased. The lawn looks better than it ever has with thick, healthy grass. I was so pleased with the results that I have arranged for them to provide all care for the lawn to include mowing, weed control, fertilizing, etc. I highly recommend this company.

I have been using them for about 6 years. They are professional but a little high priced. The have not always done the best job.

We are very happy with their service. My lawn is in better shape than when we were using a different company. Price is determined by which treatments they're doing.

Prompt quality job with professional attitude

I contracted Perfect Landscaping for the removal and replacement of a cement step and to enlarged the cemented walkway area. There was damaged concrete slabs from previous work which they repaired at no additional cost. They were also contracted to redesign the landscaping in my front shrubbery bed and to add additional plantings consistent with the landscaping plan. The company was extremely adaptable and responsive to my schedule and project requirements. The quality of work provided was exceptional. The proposed landscape design was completed in a timely manner and significantly enhanced the appearance of the property. The entire staff of Perfect Landscaping demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and dedication. Perfect Landscapes has done an amazing job on our lawn. Last year, our yard was dirt and weeds and this year, it is a beautiful green yard. There are still some dirt patches, however, we expect the yard to continue to improve. Perfect Landscapes has been responsive to our calls and answers questions about our yard and progress over the phone (while we have had in-person consultations at our home, it is much more convenient to us to not have to meet in person for every little question). Invoicing is over e-mail and is quick and easy. Perfect Landscapes does not provide advance notice of when they plan to come out to our house for services. They do leave a sign in the yard every time, so we know whether it is safe to have our dog in the yard.

I didn't have any problem with them at all. They were very punctual and precise in their estimate and did very good work. They were very professional in terms of responding to the estimate and did good work.

Our once dilapidated lawn is now full and beautifully green thanks to these guys. I still cut the grass myself and I actually had to buy a new mower that could handle the density of our grass. These guys do excellent work.

I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone. There was a complete lack of supervision. The "supervisor Bob Miller" showed up once midway through the first day. The workers did not seem to know what they were supposed to do. My husband and I had to continuously tell them what was required AS PER THE CONTRACT. I say this because on several occasions they were a bit rude and did not want to do the work. I did not know the job would take more than one day. This is not a problem, I just was not told. At the end of the first day (Thursday), the men were packing up and we asked about finishing the work and would be back the next day (not half of the work had been completed). They said they were unable to remove the Leylands without the proper equipment. (Bob Miller had written in the contract and had told me the men would be able to "dig them out as the root ball was not large". The holly, mulching, 1 pear also had not been done. That evening as my husband and I were looking over what work had been done, we noticed that they had left a large ladder and water jug against our rear fence. We also noticed personal trash items had been left about. The next day, Friday came and went. I called Bob Miller at about 9 and asked when the men were coming. I was told "oh they will be there". At noon, they still were not there. I again called Bob Miller who did not know anything. He said He would get back to me. He then called to say that "I would not like this but..." there was no one to drive the truck. I called the main office to complain and was told someone would get back to me. No one got back to me. I called Bob Miller again to ask when the job would be completed. Eventually I was told that the men would return on Tuesday. Bob Miller told me that the owner and "everyone would be there. This was not true! I told him we were not happy. Tuesday came and two workers came and they were surly. They did not want to do the work. One of them was putting mulch without doing the clean-up. He was belligerent about doing it. Someone from the company showed up and my husband showed him the contract and the man who had showed up (he did not identify himself) spoke with the worker and said yes you have to do the cleanup, the contract states it so. THE REAL ICING ON CAKE CAME WHEN MY HUSBAND ASKED ABOUT COMPLETING THE ONE PEAR TREE THAT WAS NOT FINISHED. IT HAD NOT BEEN TRIMMED (AGAIN AS PER THE CONTRACT). HE SAID TO MY HUSBAND 'I CAN'T BECAUSE SOMEONE HERE AT THE PROPERTY HAD TAKEN THE CUTTER HE HAD LEFT HERE' (come to find out, I believe it was either left elsewhere or another worker borrowed it as his co-worker said!) LET ME SAY WE DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING ACCUSED OF TAKING SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO US, NOR DO WE APPRECIATE THE GENERAL LACK OF COURTESY OR PROFESSIONALISM THAT WAS DISPLAYED BY THE MEMBERS OF THIS COMPANY. Again they also left trash and did a sloppy job of mulching under bushes. .

Things went fine but we decided not to proceed this time. It was not in our budget to do. He's professional. He has lots of ideas. He was very personal. I don't have any complains it's just that it's beyond our project. He was fine. He was the only person we talked to. He was quite responsive unlike some other people. He came out when he said he would come out and showed up and he spends time with us. He was on time.

We have worked with them for about two years and it has been a very positive experience. Their price for service is competitive and the service is excellent.

While the contractor didn't service my area, they were very punctual in responding to let me know. Much appreciated.

Very professional. Proposal professional. Price gold plated. For the value of the service it does not add up - industry does not bear that type of price point.

Perfect landscaping has done a pretty good job managing my lawn. I like that they have many different kinds of services from which to choose, so I can adjust the lawn care according to my pocketbook each year. Mulching and leaf clean up are extremely expensive, but everything else is far. Also, they offer top dressing, which I haven't seen elsewhere.

Perfect landscapes had already built us a stone retaining wall at the corner of our property where two roads intersect. Unfortunately, a truck hit the wall and knocked part of it down. Perfect's first price to repair it was too high. In fairness, they had lost money on the original job building it. They proposed to got to a time and materials approach with an estimate that was satisfactory. They came in at budget. It took them a long time to get to us - a few months of waiting. We had turned down one vendor because they could not get to us soon enough, but Perfect eventually took just as long. The work itself was professional and thorough, done fairly quickly once the job started, and the wall looks even better than the first time. Part of the deal was that they moved it back a bit to try to avoid a repeat collision with passing trucks.

I signed up for recurring services and regular lawn maintenance with Perfect Landscapes. I am impressed by their responsiveness and professionalism, abundance of services to choose from and ability to customize the number of services performed throughout the year as well as schedule. I would highly recommend this provider.

I think that they were pretty good and I think that they did what they were asked to do and it was a small job. I think that they did a good job. They were responsive to my call, set up the appointment and were on time in doing the work. I would say overall, that it was a good experience. The cost was a little bit high. I would use them again.

Because of rain they were a few days late but always kept me informed. Did a great job of weeding and mulching and trimmed the shrubs as I ask. Did a great job of cleaning up before leaving.

We had a good meeting with one of the designers and was told to expect a design plan in approximately 2 weeks. At the same time, we signed a contract with Perfect Landscapes for regular mowing and turf care because we were interested in having all of our landscaping needs serviced by one company. The service related to the routine mowing and lawn care was fine. We had no complaints about that and thought the price for those services was very reasonable. However, we never received a design plan or proposal for the more involved landscaping project. We sent multiple emails to the designer and each time was promised that the design/proposal would be sent soon. We were told by the designer that they were short-handed and that he was out in the field most days and he would have to work on it during the weekends. Our original meeting was near the end of April 2013 and by June 2013 we still had not received a proposal or design. At that time, we contacted and selected another vendor to provide the landscaping services needed. We would have appreciated being told upfront that the company couldn't handle the project rather than have it drag out several months. We have since cancelled the mowing and turf care contracts as they will now be serviced by the company that completed the landscaping project.

Contacted Perfect Landscapes to provide an estimate for laying sod in our bare back and side yards. They were courteous and responsive and we had an estimate within 5 days. Pricing was very good, compared with the work they promised, compared to two other companies we contacted. They offered ground prep, top soil and sod, in one package, not ala carte as we got from other companies. The only issue was, due to the volume of work they perform, we had to wait 2 weeks to get the work completed. Ended up being a little later than we originally wanted. When they came, they were prompt and did a great job prepping the ground for sod. The disappointing piece is we have areas of full shade, which they went ahead and laid sod without mentioning the sod wouldn't do well in those areas. While we have a nice lawn in most areas, we have significant spots it won't grow. I would expect a professional firm like this would at least let us know we'd have problems getting sod to grow there. That's why you hire professional landscapers. Not sure we'll use them again.
