Overall I am very pleased with the service. I worked with Shannon Reed for my design. We have a boutique condo building in DC with quite a bit of yard area, half is almost full shade and half is almost full sun. Shannon helped design a plant list that would work with both extremes and would blend together perfectly. We were working on a tight timeline due to an upcoming event at the property and Mand M went out of their way to make it happen for us. I am about one of the most picky customers you could ever have and they left me quite satisfied. They were in constant communication, I never had to look for them, all my questions and concerns were answered almost immediately through the whole process. Our plan included removal of old trees / plants, overall cleanup, planting of all new plants and trees and mulching everything. The workers were on time and worked very hard. I was very happy to see their level of professionalism. They did not just yank weeds up (we had a lot) they dug them up by the root properly. They went out of their way to clean and mulch areas behind the trash cans and AC units to complete the job. We had multiple companies contacted for estimates but Mand M was the ONLY one for us that could come through. I would surely give them a recommendation anytime and we plan to use them for monthly upkeep service.

Very professional organization. A little hard to stay in contact with your project manager as they are in the field most of the time. Reasonably priced. First service was done on time and work was done well. I signed up for a year's worth of service.

It was more expensive than I wanted it to be. The foreman was very good. The people who did the hard cutting did a very good job. A lot of the work was subcontractors, like the people that did the lighting work. For the price I paid there should have been more of a detailed plan and there were adjustments made on the fly. They were responsive to that. The side stoop was actually ripped out and put in. They widened the driveway. A lot of work was done. I felt that they were a bit condescending. The foreman was the owner and he was the principal person. He could have been more responsive. I did not always know when somebody was coming or someone would be there. I think because of the quality, I don’t feel the overall cost was worth the service. I would not go back to them. I don’t think they had a plan, and there definitely was a lack of an architectural plan. For that price, they should have had one. In some of the stonework, they were supposed to have cleaned it and improved on the material but that was never done. After a while I just gave up trying to get this work rectified. The actual crew itself was very good, punctual and responsive, and cleaned up well. I would not use them in the future.

I liked the quality of their work. I thought they did a fantastic job with the designing and executing the project. The work was done in a timely fashion. The outcome was great.

The owner Trent was someone who I trusted and felt would build a quality product. His team of 2-3 workers and a foreman did a commendable job. There were some aspects of the job that I felt should have been executed better, but overall the work was good. As I've learned with all the contracted renovation works I've had done recently, it helps to question why something is being done a certain way and suggest changes, if required. The couple slip ups (in my opinion) could have been avoided had there been better communication between Trent and the foreman. That said, I highly recommend Mand M. The workers were professional. The finishing touches by Trent were good. Update: 11/14/2012. The sand under the patio began to wash away in a spot where rain water runs over the top, the drainage pipe they placed under the driveway has begun to show a long indentation on the paver surface, they did not place landscape fabric behind the patio wall so soil has been seeping through the cracks whenever it rains, and they have been horrible about follow-up work. Non-responsive. I won't use them again.

My husband built a retaining wall using Allan Block block. The wall was over 93 ft and 4 ft high. He fell ill and could not finish the wall and the wall remained unfinished for over 2 years. This year we decided not to wait any longer. We had the wall backfilled with gravel and fill dirt. Then called Mand M. Despite some of the poor ratings - we have a great experience! Mand M regraded the fill dirt; added top soil and mulch; compost; planted 25 plants. They also finished off the retaining wall by adding a wall cap and built a partial retaining wall along our sloping foundation. The work was grueling! The men carefully cut each stone to a perfect shape. they had to haul fill dirt from the back of our yard (about 30 ft) uphill, add top soil, mulching compost, plant plants, and then finish off with mulch. The men were great. They asked questions if there were unsure. They also cleaned up and mulched areas that were barren - @ no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with the end result.

I left a message and they have yet to follow up.

I spend a fortune on a monthly basis. It's a year around contract. They are quite good but they aren't cheap either. They are reliable and they do good work. I referred a friend and they signed up with them. I am not sure when we switched to them but it may have been in 2003. They are reliable and regular. If there is a problem they come. They are okay. I probably could get a cheaper service but they might not be reliable. I know these people. If they forget something, I can ask them and they will do it. I have a big property and they are good. I will continue to use them in the future.

From start to finish the project went smooth with the exception of weather delays. Throughout the project my wife and I requested a few small changes which Mand M were able to accommodate without question. At the end, Mand M walked us through the project and gave us tips and instructions on ongoing maintenance and upkeep.

The manager was very easy to talk to and he tends to be pretty much on top of the job. The crew was very efficient, quick and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are very thorough and seem to do a very good job. They are also very good in cleaning and other work that they do.

It took several weeks for work to begin. Some work was shoddily done. Fence did not follow sidewalk edge as requested, post holes not filled, request for 3" of bottom clearance not observed, nailing on wooden fence was nasty-looking in places.

They have been good. Our lawn looks great and they are reliable and resolved any issues.

A four-six week scheduled job took over 12 weeks to finish. The project manager was rarely on site. The workers were lazy and didn't speak the English language when I went out there to ask them specific questions. The workers didn't follow the plan of scheduled work and when I brought it to their attention, they failed to understand the English language. When I alerted the PM, she apologized and apologized over and over again for their mistakes. The customer service was especially poor and no one returned my calls after discovering discrepancies after I made final payment. I had to sue the company in court to get them to fix deficiencies in work discovered after the fact. An extremely poorly planned and run company. I hated it.

BAD. The sales person was excellent, but the job was really bad. I have to ask them to come back and even then they didn't do what they promised. Also, they damaged my front yard while doing the work. The sales person promised us to come back in the spring and reseed it. They never showed up.

WE HAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY FOR OVER FIVE YEARS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE YARD. I FEEL THEY ARE A LITTLE TOO EXPENSIVE. I AM PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK.
