I set an appointment for them to arrive between 11-12 on Friday 5/21/2010, took a day off from work, and they never showed, never called. Repeated calls to their office that afternoon connected me only to their sleepy answering service. I assumed I must have mistaken the date, so I called them back on Monday the 24th to confirm. Again, got the answering service, but this time left a message asking them to call me. Got a return voicemail from Land S on Tuesday saying (of all things) that it looked to them like they had finished the work.

Brian and Tony came to our home approximately a week and a half before the work was scheduled to provide an estimate of the cost of the work. I asked them for advice on the type of lighting and switches we might use in various locations of the house and they provided me with some outstanding ideas and very reasonable prices. They arrived on time the day of the installation and performed the work exactly as promised -- the recessed lighting in the family room was especially transformational. They worked quickly and cleaned up all areas, including the patchwork. They were very courteous, friendly and especially patient with a barrage of questions from a curious pre-schooler. The final costs reflected the estimates exactly and I would absolutely use them again for future electrical work on the house.

Great experience all the way around. I had received a personal recommendation to use Land S. I hired them first simply to snake some cable wires through the walls, which was done in short order and was good work. We talked about the lighting after that, and Brian was great at provided thoughtful suggestions about how much lighting was needed, where, etc., not in a pushy way, just a very helpful. When installation day arrived, they were a little late and I had to leave for work without seeing them. No big deal though; we basically worked out a latch-key scenario and they were very communicative about the work throughout the day--you do not need to watch over their shoulder. Excellent work and very clean installation, you wouldn't even know they were there. Excellent plaster patching. Very responsive with some follow-up items. We're now using them to install exhaust fan in bathroom and will use for all future electrical work.

Land S Electric did a great job. Brian and Tony arrived early and worked for approximately 4 hours nonstop. They cleaned up everything and even showed me how to install the lighting so I could add additional fixtures. They were very pleasant and when there was a question as to what or where I wanted something placed, they asked. I love all of the new outlets and it makes running all of the equipment for my pond much easier. Only negative was that two of my gumpo azaleas and a peony got crunched in the process. I intend on using them again.

I contacted the company several weeks prior to the job/service request, and was then scheduled for early February. Brian showed up as scheduled on that morning, and called prior to the service call. I appreciated the call.

All reports on Land S were so outstanding, and we were not pressed for time, so we had no problem booking them for weeks in advance. They came to the house with a 2 man crew and impressed us as they had everyone else with their wizardry, they seemed to come up with (or recommend) the optimal solution for everything. Only one thing seems to have not worked out exactly as planned, the exhaust fan works but the bathroom mirror is still clouded for a while after taking a shower, the expectation was that it would not get clouded at all. On the other hand it is wonderful to be able to walk into a room and hit a switch and see what's in the room. Why they didn't do overhead lights when the built houses in the 1970s, I will never know.

Tony from L and S came to my home to suggest lighting for my pipe organ. There was no charge for this visit. On the day of installation, Tony and Brian Chin arrived on time and completed the job in just over half the estimated time. They installed four recessed ceiling fixtures on two separate dimmer switches, improving on the original design in the process, and giving exactly the results that I needed. I asked if they could relocate a thermostat in the same room, which they cheerfully did, even though it was not on the original work order. They patched any remaining holes in the walls and cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished.

They repaired the intercom radio system when another electrician said it needed to be replaced. They were prompt and their estimate was right on. I would recommend them to others.

They were excellent. They were professional and showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything just looks great. The price was fabulous. I had several estimates, and they were the cheapest. They are pretty busy, so if you need to have to have something done right away, they may not be the company to call. If you can wait, they are worth it.

He was fantastic! We have used in them past. He is good about getting the job done without any problems. he definitely knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is very smart. He was very courteous when he was there working. He told me everything that he was going to do before he did all the work. He told us what kind of light bulbs to us. He called us to tell us when he would be there.

They did an excellent job. They are slightly difficult to reach, but they give a great detailed explanation of the type of work they perform. I was very pleased with installation and work performed. The gentleman efficient, careful, and explained options that I had for different things.

We have used Land S Electric for many projects over the course of many years. Brian Chen is an electrical wizard. In fact, he's done what another electrician said was impossible (i.e., install a Cassablanca fan with two power switches; one upstairs and one downstairs). Brian Chen is very professional and always meets or exceeds our expectations.

These guys are really good. It is hard to get them because they are so busy. You have to book them three months in advance, but it's worth it. They do a great job and are very reasonably priced.

Responsiveness - Poor. I measure the effectiveness of a company and its ability to do a job, FIRST by its ability to answer phone calls. If it can not adequately respond to inquiries, I conclude it can not adequately perform the work.

Hi -- They must be very popular. Didn't have any apppointments open until August.

They were wonderful, very professional and fast, clean, and thorough. They went out of their way to wire the fans through the attic, providing all wire, switches, and fixtures needed to complete the installation. As for the non-working outlet, they traced electric lines and discovered some bad electrical work done 15 years earlier. I now feel much safer. Asking for a recommendation as to whether to upgrade my service panel, they recommended not to, as it wasn't really necessary. This was a great money saver and honest appraisal. I would ask them back in a minute if I ever need any more work. They came as a result of a recommendation from another friend. They were quite booked up so it took almost a month to get them in. I'm glad I waited.

They are excellent with a firm price per job. They perform excellent patching of the ceilings after they complete the job.
