They were excellent. We liked that they labeled everything for us and they put everything away in the rooms where we wanted them. They did, however, put some boxes in the wrong rooms but it wasn't too bad. I would recommend them.

I would recommend them even though their price was slightly higher than the company we chose.

Very well; three gentlemen arrived at about 8:30 to begin loading the truck. It was about 20 degrees out that morning, but they worked tirelessly. The truck was completely full by 2pm, and we left for Annapolis. They arrived shortly after 3, and unloaded, checking with me each time they weren't sure where something was to go. Beds and desks were reassembled, and furniture was put into it's appropriate place.

They were punctual professional. Nothing broke; not cheap. Very flexible with moving schedule. They came on time and delivered on time. Everything was packed immaculately.

Extremely well. The truck was scheduled to show up between 8-9 am but it was there early (7:45 am). There were 4 men and they immediately got to work loading furniture. Our townhome was extremely difficult to move furniture in/out of but they were very careful not to damage the furniture or walls. They laid down rugs over the wood floor and wrapped all the furniture in blankets. The entire house was loaded by 11:30 am. Everything went well unloading at our new house as well. It was the end of July and extremely hot but the men just kept working. I thought that since they charge by the hour they might not work fast but they kept moving and didn't stop. We tried to offer them drinks or lunch but they just kept going and finished under the estimated amount of time. Everything was unloaded and set-up by 3 pm.

The workers were very conscientious in moving our furniture. They wrapped everything in blankets, shrink-wrapped most items, crated the glass items, and only barely scratched one item. The non-fragile boxed items fared well too. For the fragile/glass boxed items, however, we had a very different experience. The workers used straps to carry most of the boxes (around the bottom of the box, then wrapped around their chest). The problem with the straps is that for boxes that contained fragile items, many of those items were crushed by the straps in the process. The boxes were not thrown around. It was the pressure on the box by the strap that damaged the items inside. If we hire a moving company at all in the future, we'll be moving all of our fragile, self-boxed items ourselves. I am still discovering broken heirlooms as I unpack our remaining boxes.

Very polite. Were left alone to work and when they were finished they drove 15 miles to my house. My husband hadn't arrived yet so they called me at work. I told them where to find a key and by the time my husband got there they were almost finished. All items in good shape.

It was broiling hot, but JK was there on time, moved incredibly quickly, and I was in the new place by noon. And the crew was very patient and were very good listeners.

They were on time but everything went down hill from there. The crew did a terrible job in handling our furniture and boxes. Within the first 20 minutes they broke an antique mirror. They dragged furniture on the floors and wrapped furniture with tape without blankets underneath. The crew did not act as a team and were slow. As we unpacked over the next few months we found at least a half dozen other items broken as a result of the crew turning boxes upside down! We have moved many times and have never had this problem before. On top of the broken pieces the crew was disrespectful in the bathroom!!! That was lovely to clean after a move. Complained to the company but did not feel satisfied nor that they took our complaints seriously. Have used Thomas AAA, (bought by JK as I understand), four times previously with no problems!

Bill came to my home and gave me a presentation and written proposal of the costs it involved. He was prompt, very professional and has been in the moving and storage industry for over 15 years. The presentation of JK Moving and Storage was very well detailed, including the fact that JK Moving handles not only local, but also long distance and international moving. His estimates were reasonable and competitive with my other bids. The packers were very courteous and careful with my goods. I highly recommend this company.

THE GUYS PERFORMED A MIRACLE! THE WHOLE MOVE WAS TRICKY BECAUSE OF THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THE PIECES. THERE WERE ALSO A NUMBER OF STAIRS INVOLVED. I MUST SAY MY HEART WAS IN MY THROAT THE ENTIRE TIME OF THE DELIVERY, BUT THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL AND DID A PERFECT JOB.

I THINK THAT THEY WERE RESOURCEFUL, PRICE WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY WITH THE THINGS I HAD DONE TO MY HOME. I THINK THE CREW WAS VERY CONFIDENT, AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

GREAT MOVING COMPANY. A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, AND THEY ARE THE BEST.
