I called for an estimate and they responded promptly and someone came out. I was told I would get an estimate within 5 or 6 business days, but I never heard back so I called. They then emailed me a contract. The contract indicated I would hear something back in 2 or 3 weeks, but again I never heard anything. When I called, they scheduled something promptly. The people you speak to when you call are very efficient and pleasant, and Gutterman does good work so I'm a repeat customer, but it's clear that you have to keep on top of them to get the job done.

When I scheduled the gutter cleaning service I also asked for an estimate for new gutters, roof, and attic insulation. The service rep arrived on time, took measurements, and seemed knowledgable about his product and what services they could offer. The sales rep told me I would have an estimate within a week. Its four months later and I never received an estimate nor a follow up from the company.

This is company that had originally installed this gutter and helmet system in 2007. I had many problems with the installation. This company did come back to fix these problems, but not when I was home. So they created more problems. I guess they got tired of my complaints, because they never responded to my calls. Since I wanted the same system when I fixed this particular problem which I was dealing with, I thought this company might be more responsive if I paid for their mistakes. Initially they told me I was out of their service area. Once that issue was cleared up, they sent and estimator. When I got the estimate, I was shocked. It was only a partial estimate and it was almost 25% of the original cost of the whole gutter installation. I know that the cost of materials and labor have gone up. But this price was beyond what I was willing to pay.

The only hitch was due to a lack of communication. When I met the estimator, he said the office would be calling me to set up an appointment for the following week. I assumed that meant the call would come within the next two days since we met on a Tuesday. Apparently though, the paperwork is turned in on Thursdays and schedules set Friday or the following Monday. Since I had been told it would be done the following week, I was wondering what was going on and ended up having to call their offices to resolve when they would be out to do the work. Once I talked to the front office, things were resolved and a time scheduled. The installers came out at the time they said they would be there and the work was done in a timely manner. I just wished the estimator had told me that the paperwork would not be submitted until 2 days later and not to expect a call until the following week.

They did all repairs and cleaning but for some reason did not replace six of the downspout strainers. Two were on the patio table and four were simply left in the gutter. I had to get on roof and replace which is what I was trying to avoid.

Went well, had new guy there to train so it took a bit longer than anticipated and it rained as well, so no luck for the installers.

Gutterman installation staff was excellent. Cleanup after work was complete was outstanding - I love using this contractor!!!

We've used Gutterman seasonly for gutter cleaning.

Gutterman Services contacted me right away. Even sent a personal email to me, not from the company. They notified me that the materials would be dropped off the day before installation and on the day of installation they were very clean and did an amazing job. Even on my old house the new gutters blend right in and look like they were meant to be there. Its rained a lot since we installed them and they work wonderfully! So impressed and would recommend them to anyone but especially someone with an old house. The only thing I did not like was that they only gave about 24 hours notice to schedule the install date. They explained that they did this so that they didn't schedule installs on days when it rained, then they would have to reschedule lots of folks but it gave me very little time to notify my employer that I would be working from home that day. Overall, they did an amazing job at a fair price.

They were very responsive. I sent a message on Thursday night and I had a quote first thing Friday morning in my in-box. They had a two week lead time which was fine by me. They ended up being able to come in just over a week so the work was done sooner than I had expected. Our gutters have worked much better and been so much quieter when it rains. My only complaint is a small one. We were not home when the work was done. My husband got home and trashed the business card they had left on the door after the service. He had assumed it was one of those solicitation card people frequently leave at doors. I was out of town for a few days at the time and didn't think to follow up with him about the service until I got home. He had no idea if anything had been done. Thankfully it rained the next night and I could tell from the lack of noise that the gutters had indeed been services. I wish they had left some type of report describing the service so I would have known it was done and how it had gone.

It took about a month to schedule the work. When they first came, they missed one section and did not wrap the fascia boards. I called back and they immediately scheduled another day. They came on time and finished the work. A supervisor came to the site to see what had not been done and they completed the work. It was all handled very professionally. They were a little more expensive than the other bids.

Morty came to the house to provide the quote and was very professional and great to work with. The quote came in and it wasn't the cheapest but was reasonable and based on my experience with Morty I decided to go with Gutterman's. That was pretty much the end of the professional service provided other than by the gentlemen that actually did the work. I was told there would be a gentleman out to do check the work required for the door, he would be there about 7:00 - 7:30, at 8:15 and no phone call I finally had to leave for work. The guys came out to do the gutters and they were very professional and did a great job. But before they came out i wanted to get a quote to get the garage door replaced and the gutters on the back of the house replaced...three e-mails to Jennifer were ignored. Which was true of phone calls and voice mails throughout the this entire process. I finally just gave up hoping to ever get a response from any attempt to communicate with Jennifer regarding the status of the door which was on order. She was always "in a meeting" and leaving a voice mail was futile. Long story short, the quality the work was good, the workers were very professional and took great care in not damaging or dirtying anything in the process of completing the work but if you are looking for a company that is responsive...keep looking...Gutterman's is not it.

for It went very well. It took a week to get it approved since the way they operate every Thursday they oversee all the written estimates and make sure it's all in order. We signed our contract on Thursday so had to wait until the next week. They then called us on Tues and said they had a cancellation on Wed . We had them come in the morning. They were suppose to call before coming but didn't. Luckily we were home anyway. They went right to work and finished about 3 hours later, cleaned up everything. It looked great but wanted to wait to write the review until it rained real hard. We wanted to see if it was a good job with no leaks. Tues night we had a 15 minute rainy windy , almost hirricane storm and the gutters did terrific. The water went where it was supposed to, the downspouit, not cascading in front of my windows & doors. We are very happy with their work and would recommend them to others.

Initially the work went well. And was very happy with the work performed. Then in Spring 2012, I was unable to open one of the bedroom windows because the mastic trim on the fascia board prevented the window from opening. Contacted the company and it took them about 3.5 months to correct the problem not to mention multiple visits. And it required me calling the company multiple times - the reason for the delay in fixing the problem was they would squeeze the repair in between their new jobs. The crew foreman stressed that I need not be home for the repair as it was an exterior repair....but then the instruction on what needed to be done was never fully relayed to the crew repairing the fix. The crew that came to fix the issue did not clean up after themselves.. Then in late Fall 2012, I began to notice a musty/moldy smell in my basement which had not been there before. And in mid-November 2012, late one night - as it started to rain heavy - I noticed the rain cascading down over the basement doors like a waterfall and did not know why. It was only until several days later, that I noticed that the fiberglass insulation that was put in around the doors when they were installed - had been pulled out and bits were hanging on the screen door. When I went to investigate that is when I noticed that the drip cap for the doors had never been reinstalled. I then put a temporary fix of sheeting plastic over the top of the door area and attempted to fill in the crevice between the top of door and siding to prevent further entry of "wildlife". I notified the company - the initial response was that they could not do anything - and then it would cost $$$ as it was outside the warranty time. I then sent an email to the company rep that contracted the original work and let the company know that I would not be proceeding with any further work - e.g. new roof and why. I received replies from the company rep as well as from the owner.....and then had to wait until they could send someone by to look at the problem and then schedule a fix. Once again- multiple visits before the problem was resolved. The original job required a specific color trim work to meet HOA regulations. However, the people responsible for fixing/correcting the problem seemed to be oblivious and then claimed they needed to check the original paperwork and consult with the sales guy. Even though their paperwork stated the trim color and that it was special order. Instead, they installed the standard trim color which was a white vs. the special color - tan. But by this time, I was just exasperated with the whole situation. The trim cap was finally installed in January 2013. I used this company in October 2006, to install covered gutters on my townhouse. My neighborhood has many mature trees and my home backs up to woods. So, I had the K-guard gutters installed on my home. The gutters on the front of the house have always worked great. The gutters on the back of the house are a different story. I mentioned the problem several times to the company rep and he indicated it was because that two of the three downspout were too small and that in order to correct the problem - they would need install larger downspouts. Which was to be done at the time of siding installation. Only one of the two projected downspouts were able to be installed as there wasn't any "room" for the larger one. However, installing the larger downspout did not resolve the problem. When it rains, I have almost a "waterfall" from the roof to the deck. Very frustrating to say the least, afterall what's the point of having gutters? Prior to my siding experience - I would have highly recommended this company. But the combination of issues with both siding and gutters and dealing with the company - I would indicate that everyone has different experiences. As long as you stay "on top" of items to be resolved you may be ok.

After seeing the Angie's List deal ($150 of gutter repair for $69) I called to get a quote on a gutter repair. During a storm a tree limb had knocked off the end cap of the gutter and damaged a small wooden soffit on a townhouse we own. The damage was minor and the gutter is still in good condition (I know because I cleaned out the gutters a couple weeks ago). The lady who answered the phone would not send someone to quote the repair, instead, without even seeing the house, she said that I need all new gutters and that repair is not an option. She said she based this on the fact that the gutters had not been replaced recently. There is no way the lady could have know the condition of the gutters in question. Gutterman Services was the only company I have called so far that was unwilling to even give me a quote on the repair. This is particularly frustrating given that the Angie's List Deal they offer ($150 of gutter repair for $69) seems like a scam because the company is clearly not willing to do small repairs. This kind of thing also reflects badly on Angie's List. If a deal is for a discount on $150 dollars worth of gutter repair, the company should a least be willing to do a job within the referenced scope and price range. Otherwise the discount should be on gutter replacement, not repair. Based on this experience, Gutterman Services does not seem like an honest, customer-friendly company and I will never be contacting them again.

All I remember is that they set a date and showed up. My husband said that they did the work and left. It was an easy. Nothing negative about the experience.

It was quite a while ago, but the install was good, product works fine years later.

Service was great, price came in just as estimated. Appraiser came out and then later installer came out before start of job to discuss. Was also having house painted by another contractor, and Gutterman worked with the contractor to first remove old gutters waited until house painting was complete (including trim work that was behiond the gutters) and then came out the next day and installed new gutters.

I came across the company on Angieslist. We handled all the details over the phone. They provided me with an accurate written esitmate as requested. As compared to other companies, their prices were the most reasonable. Because the job was outside, I did not need to be home. A credit card was provided and once the job was completed and I was satisfied, they charged the $250.00. They also sent me a coupon towards my next service with them.

everything went fine. left no mess.

We were happy with their service. From a price point, they were very competitive in how to get products. The only negative thing is that we contacted them because we noticed some dripping off of the gutters and I’m not sure how responsive they were to adjust that.

I last used their service last July and I was extremely disappointed with the last time that they came to our house. I get with them and they turned out not satisfactory at all. They broke some of my lights, I have security lights. The previous times they came to our house I was always in the house this time I was not there. They installed my first gutters in this house then later they came again to replace my gutters with covered gutters. Again, they did a very good job. This time I decided to replace everything else because we have the storm so they replaced the rest of the house. So, it was a large job around $2000 and it was extremely complicated. They came and withhold the payment because I wanted to come back and replace what they have done, they did not do it. At the end I just paid but I will definitely not recommend them. It’s a family business and one of the ladies has lack of personal skills. I remember her from previous times even when things were good. They didn't accommodate a penny, they didn't come back and replaced my lights and they broke lights on my garden as well. I was extremely unhappy. The only thing that I saw right away was the roof that there were chips in my straight roof which I had asked them 100 times to be extremely careful. It’s extremely like bad workmanship. There is one part of the gutter that they installed that it’s not leveled so they send the manger and one of the manager said to me, “I’m not leaving your house today without my check”.

The workers were very professional and did a great job. They noticed that the gutters were incorrectly installed on the front fascia, because the drainage slope did not allow the water to flow to the outlets. In a short time, they flushed all of my gutters and sealed the corners that were leaking. The customer support was extremely courteous and provided the scheduling information and estimates. The price was reasonable for the amount of work performed. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone needing gutter service.
