They were on time, very thorough, and went above and beyond. For example, they cleaned a section of gutters even though they didn't have to. I have a low yield well, and they worked around that with ease. Overall, I was very happy with their service.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company doing work on my house. It's amazing to me, given the A's ratings this company has from other Angie's List members. We called them, agreed to the services and price. We then waited a few days shy of a month before they were able to do the work. For $125.00 they were going to repair my downspouts and clean the gutters. Specifically, one of my downspouts was no longer properly attached to the side of my house. They did the work on June 16. They left a mess of moss from my roof in my grass, on my walkway. They did not clean up after themselves at all it seemed. They also left the downspout unattached. We had a note from the workers stating that we need a new roof. My wife called the following morning and complained. They told her that that was not the way they should have left our house and that they would come back to both give us an estimate on a new roof, an estimate on cleaning the roof, and reattach the downspout. It took them about a week (6 or 7 days) before they came back. When I arrived home, I looked for the repair. It had not taken place. The following morning, my wife called them again. She was told that because the nail that had previously kept the downspout in place was no long accessible, and they did not bring their own nails, they could not do the repair. They also said that my roof was too old to be pressure washed (apparently the only kind they do) so they could not give us an estimate on a roof cleaning. However, they would get us the estimate for a brand new roof. That, is one heck of an upsell. "I won't clean the one you have, but here's what it will cost to replace it." In the end, they charged me $125.00 and not only made us wait, made a mess and made us wait again, they did not complete the work they had promised for the $125.00 they charged us. I am so unhappy with the experience, that I I would rather warn others, than try to get them to "apologize" by giving me a discount. I had to update this. I have since had a roof cleaning company "Roof Real Clean" clean my roof. They repaired the downspout for free and informed me that there was not a thing wrong with my roof whatsoever. Further, it had a good 3-4 years of life left in in. Because of this, I feel that Gutterman's interest in selling me a new roof was even more dishonest, thus the F grade they now have.

They are excellent, and I use them all the time. They have been working with our condo association for almost five years. They are always our contractor of choice because of their quality and responsiveness. Everything they do is topnotch. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

I had Gutterman come and give an estimate on gutter repair/replacement. Although this did cost $100, they would have credited $50 back if I elected to use their service. In looking to have my gutters repaired, they were the second best quote I received (out of 5 other companies), even with the added $100. It did take about a week to get the estimate after they came out to look at my house. This lack of communication was probably due to the time of year and rolling into their busy season. Once I received the contract, they were very good with communication, calling to see if I had any questions or concerns about the estimate and even going as far as attempting to re-calculate the cost, after I told them I had a cheaper bid for the same amount/type of work. In the end, I went with another company, but with some of the issue I am having with the other company, I am regretting my decision. I would recommend Gutterman and they will be my first call if I ever need gutter work done again.

They returned our phone call right away and came out for an estimate several days later. They gave us two options, just unclog the jammed downspout or replace it with a larger one which would not get jammed as easily. We decided to replace it and with all the rain we have had lately, the water is flowing nicely.

It went very well, the price estimate was what we paid. The work was done as scheduled and on-time. We had one small issue and the office people would not call back to resolve it, several calls and finally sorted out the issue. In the end we are very pleased and would use them again. The gutters are on solid and do a great job of keeping leaves out and putting the water where we want it to go.

I called to get an estimate to repair some loose gutters and to renail some facia board that had come loose. The facia board had no visible signs of rotting, it had just pulled loose. The woman that I spoke with said that they would not repair gutters that had come loose and would not renail facia board. They would only replace both the facia and the gutters. I told her that I was surprised because I had gotten two other estimates and both companies said it was not necessary to replace everything. Nevertheless, without even looking at the job, she said that they would only do a full replacement. I told her that I was not interested in working with a company that inflated the jobs to make them bigger.

See above. They lied about the arrival time and location of service men. I lost 3 hours of work.

They were fast and efficient, and they did exactly what they said they would do. I would rate them highly.

Estimate was done within a few days of the initial call. Unfortunately the estimator was 45 minutes late due to morning traffic, however, he told us that it would take 2 weeks to have the gutters come in and installed, but in actuality they had the parts and installed the gutters only 3 days after our estimate. We were pleasantly surprised! We'd recommend them and use them again.

Prompt, on-time, good value and workmanship. They won't give you an actual install date other than to say approx 2 weeks from contract processing. They call you the day before to let you know they will be doing the work. This is in case weather delays the prior installation. It worked out alright as you don't have to be home but it would have been nice to have a more exact date. I would recommend them.

Called and left a message in the general mailbox early in the morning, early in the week. Didn't get a call back that day so called the next. Talked to Katie who asked for a picture of the problem. Sent it to her immediately. She called to say they would have to do a drive-by estimate and she would call me back to let me know when someone would be in the area. Didn't get a call. Karen called the day after to respond to my original message. Explained again. She said the same thing. Havent' heard from anyone and it is now Saturday. I had explained there was some urgency as house is on market and I am trying to arrange things quickly. It was all friendly and courteous but no follow-through. We have used Gutterman before so I had anticipated that things would go smoothly but they never got off the ground.

We have been very satisfied with their work.

They came out to clean the gutters in the fall and said that the gutters weren't draining properly. They recommended that we replaced the gutters. They subtracted the cleaning price of 500 dollars from the cost of the replacement. They did a very good job. I would definitely use them again.

They are always good. I like that they do not dump the leaves that are in the gutters on my bushes below. They are very thorough and reliable. I also got an estimate for roofing replacement from them, but they were more expensive and I didn't go with them.

It all started when I had a leaking gutter and my initial call was to have it fixed and the gutters cleaned out. The crew came and found significant issues with the gutters--which were almost 20 years old. The supervisor explained the problems to me and gave me an estimate for gutter replacement. I contacted the company and agreed to the work. There was one glitch in that the estimator made an error and significantly underpriced the replacement gutters (he only bid about half the cost he should have given me). He called me and explained what happened. He was very apologetic and took full responsibility for his mistake. The company asked if I'd agree to "split the difference" between the original bid and the correct cost. The agreed-on price was somewhat to my advantage; I felt it was fair and it was handled professionally. The work was scheduled promptly. The crew arrived exactly on time. They did the work efficiently and cleaned everything up beautifully. I highly recommend this company. They were customer-oriented in all their interactions with me, even in handling their error.

They were great. I will use them again in the future.

We have tulip poplar trees that drop blossoms and pods in the spring and leaves in the fall, so we get semi-annual gutter cleanings. The gutter cleanings have been done well and the guys clean up the yard mess before leaving. While up on the roof, they also do a general inspection of the roof and the various vents, pipes, and chimney. This visit, they replaced 2 vent collar pipes. I am so satisfied with their services that I signed a 2-year contract. They use Google Earth to visualize your roof line, so they are able to give you an accurate estimate over the phone which eliminates a house call. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Ken came out for an estimate and was very friendly. The work crew came out while we were at work. They cleaned the gutters and replace the rotten trim boards but did not re-secure the fascia boards. After discussing with the office staff, the crew came back out to re-secure the fascia boards. The office staff was very responsive to our concerns and eager to remedy the miscommunication about the job.

They were quite easy to work with; the team was quick and effective. I would definitely use them again.

Ecellent!! They showed up on time and got the job done in the day that they had estimated. They left the yard and surroundings clean after they were finished. The original estimate was completed and sent in three days, but it took about a week to iron everything out -- part of this was my own fault in terms of little things that I wanted added to the estimate. The post-installation service has been just incredible. I got a phone call from them about a week after the installation was complete -- just to check to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work. I have also received severl pieces of correspondence from them reminding me of items like potential hail damage to the gutters that should be checked (for free).

I didn't even have to deal with them. They came out and did it and left. The work was great! I have no problems with anything they did. They will sell you what you need, which is great! I had another company come out and want to sell me the same work for $1200.00. They showed up on time and gave me a fair price. The one thing that I didn't like was that when it came to scheduling the work, they didn't tell me exactly when they were going to come out. They called me a few days. They were out in a short period of time.

Customer service with this company was great. They promptly responded to my e-mails and came to my house to provide estimate prior to work. Employees who came to house were professional and courteous, also cleaned up very nicely after their work, including existing leaves that were on back deck before they came.
