Everything went fine. Just one complaint. Since the boards had to be cut they also needed to have the exposed wood painted. Since it was Winter time they had to wait for a warm day to do the work since it had to be warm enough for the paint to dry properly. However, nobody called to tell me that. About 5 weeks went by and I ended up calling them to find out when I was on their schedule to have the work done and when I asked what ws taking so long it was at that time that they explained the delay. I think they probably should called to inform me of when the work could be done. Other than that everything else was great. The guy that came out to give the estimate was very professional and thorough and the quality of the work was very good.

It was good. They were quick to come out and give an estimate and didn't take too long to come out.

Ken arrived on-time and walked me through the various product options and provided me with a quote on both the KGuard product as well as a 6" gutter with a filter(screen) on them. He was patient and answered my questions. I decided to go with another dealer of the KGuard product as the other dealer offered me a substantially improved price over the quote from Gutterman (almost 25% lower) and also seemed to work harder for our business (plus had great reviews.) As always, it pays to shop around, compare bids and do your homework.

I prepaid for my gutters to be cleaned and for the gutter covers to be installed. They arrived on the date that was scheduled, but they only cleaned the gutters. My spouse asked them if they put the covers on and they informed him that we did not pay for that service. The tech did not call the main office to verify what I had paid for, he just immediately left. Once I found out that the covers were not installed, I called to gain an understanding as to what happened. I was informed that the covers were installed and that the service was completed. I was baffled at the fact that the office is telling me that I had gutter covers when clearly there were no covers attached to my gutters. I called continuously for several days without receiving a call back or any additional information as to why there were no gutter covers. I finally called back and was not very polite due to the fact that it had been over a week and the main office continued to tell me that I had gutter covers. They finally contacted the Tech and he verified that I did not have gutter covers. They came out the next day and added the gutter covers. Overall this is something that could have been resolved within a couple hours, but the fact that they were completely unresponsive for over a week made this situation incredibly frustrating.

Easy to make appointment(s), conveniently scheduled, promptly came, professional and courteous workers. This is the third time time we have used Gutterman Services and have never been disappointment.

We were able to schedule the cleaning within a week of calling. Mauricio and Bayron arrived on time and were professional and thorough. Because of the screens, the work required extensive flushing of the gutters and clearing near the downspouts. All the refuse was taken away. This morning, during a constant rain, I heard a nice sound -- the metallic gurgling of water in the gutters. We hadn't heard this in a while. It was a sure sign that the cleaning had been done properly and conscientiously.

They recommended a bunch of things but I didn't do any of them. I have used them for different places. Mostly they come when you are not there and they work. I can't get on the roof to check up on them. I assume it was done correctly. I would say that they got a good price. They seem to be as good as other people out there who are doing it. They got back to me.

I had a need for emergency service. A storm had knocked down a section of my gutter and the wind was blowing it against my house. The young woman that answered the phone seemed clueless as to what service I should have. She did offer to schedule their "emergency service", which should be there in 1-2 days. The minimum charge was quoted at $350.00, regardless of what work was performed. A credit card is required in advance to "secure paymen and keep your place in the queu". I felt this locked me into their service, regardless of when they arrived or what work they performed. She also offered two other services, an estimator or a service manager. Either could come out and give me an estimate. I could not determine from talking with her what the difference was. I tried to explain I needed emergency service, the gutter was hanging down and banging against the house. She suggested I photograph the gutter, email them the pictures and she would discuss it with the service manager. I don't mind paying a fair price for services provided. I have a problem paying in advance for services that have not been explained or even looked at. This company must have more business than they need. Maybe they are good for large installations where you have time for estimates and bids etc. But if you have an emergency and just need a straight forward repair technician to show up, assess your need, and do the work at a fair price I would look elsewhere. This company comes across as not needing this type of business, and if they do provide the service you will pay top dollar and get the service whenever it fits their schedule. I would certainly not use them for emergency repairs.

Gutterman seemed very good, at first. They came out to give us an estimate quickly and professionally (I think that was in March, but I may be misremembering). The estimate was higher than we expected, but not crazily so. We put off doing the work, then asked them to come back for another estimate, so that we could do the work. They said someone would come, but nobody ever did -- the person in the office said that the estimator just wouldn't come. So,we would have been happy to use Gutterman, but it's just not going to happen.

Gutterman was courteous, prompt, and did good work. I have no complaints.

They did a great work. However, they were not that prompt because of the storm, but they told us about it right up-front when they gave us the estimate.

They were punctual and professional. After the work was done they cleaned up the yard and around my home. You would have never known that they were there.

Angie list had a coupon for gutters. I needed one and called for an estimate. The salespersons acted like we were putting him out. When I complained to the company the manager was extremely nice. The job was done without a few weeks time. Overall we needed a new gutter and got one for a good price.

Had a special coupon for the service. The company was very responsive to my call to request service and had an appointment booked within one week of initial contact. The team was prompt on the day of service and did a quick, thorough job. Entire job was done within 1 hour. They also inspected my roof while they were up there and gave some information on additional services that may be needed. Company followed up to rate service as well as if I would like a quote on any further services I may need.

He was a little slow getting to us but did everything we asked.

The downspout installation is fine and professional. The siding work was never done. My attempts to understand when or why the siding work was not performed were not answered. The telephone receptionist did not understand what I was talking about and told me to "call Paul" which I did. I also sent email. That I know of, Paul did not respond. There has been no satisfactory resolution to this matter, and I have been traveling on business and had no time to pursue it over the past month. Situation is now resolved. Their work is excellent -- the problem came about in the sales ordering process.

The staff at Gutterman is extremely professional. I can not say enough about the quality job they do from start to finish. Their staff from the office to the field are the best. They are trustworthy and stand by the quality of their work. I have been using this company for projects for many years and I am so glad that I found them. They make my job as a property manager so much easier. I know that they are going to be honest about what repairs need to be done, provide me with a competitive price, and perform the work correctly and in a timely manor.

It was difficult setting up an appointment. When I called, I was told that they were scheduling three weeks out; I asked to be put onto the schedule during the third week. No one called to confirm the appointment or schedule a new time. When I called to confirm in the third week, I was told they were booked because of Hurricane Sandy and could not be scheduled for a couple more weeks. I had taken time off to do several repairs during the week so, after a bit of discussion, they made accomodations during the week. The service was an outstanding value. The crew came by, inspected the roof and caulked holes they identified, as well as refitting two fallen flashes. They identified a squirrel nest and damage to a gutter that will be addressed on a later visit. They showed me pictures of all roofing concerns and gave me conservative guidance on how to redress concerns. Despite my concerns for scheduling, I was really pleased with their service and would use this company again and intend to have yearly roof inspections because this one was so useful.

I originally scheduled them for end of October, to wait for more leaves to accumulate on my gutter through the season. They showed up 2 weeks early. Did an ok job, but mostly highlighted (IMO) unnecessary repairs.

Everything went well, except for finding the right color for our strict homeowner assoc. Gutterman was very patient and went above and beyond to find the right color in the quality I wanted

Rob and Roddy were great. They were very thorough in their power washing and made sure everything was clean. Most impressive is the fact that they were able to remove 95% of the water stains on my gutters. These stains could not be removed the last time I had my house power washed. I was pleased that, once they got here, I asked them and they agreed to power wash my vinyl shed which was not originally contracted for when I called Gutterman Services. And then seeing how well they were able to get the stains off my front gutters, I wanted my rear gutters to have the same look.

After purchasing a Groupon for gutter cleaning we incurred some damage to a small section of gutter after a storm. So I called Gutterman Services to schedule an appointment for an estimate. They were very willing to schedule someone quickly. On the scheduled day (Saturday) we realized that no one had called to reconfirm and after 30 minutes we started to get nervous that they were not going to show up. While they were a little late, once the sales rep showed up it was clear he knew a lot about gutters. He surveyed the damage and was upfront that he didn't want to waste our time by trying to sell us on upgrades that we didn?t need since our gutters are new. That initial experience was terrific. After the initial visit, we had to hound the rep for the quote. Once we received it, it was full of errors including upgrades we didn't want and a charge for a cleaning, which we had already paid for via Groupon (which we had discussed in the initial visit). Once we received the corrected quote and decided to schedule the service I called the office and was told that we needed to contact the rep. We attempted to do that, but it took a few weeks. Once I finally confirmed with the rep, I had to again call the office to pay the deposit. I found all of the back and forth unnecessary and annoying. I was told when I paid the deposit that I would be contacted to schedule the work. A few weeks later I received a call to "confirm my appointment the next day" for which I had received no notice. I told the woman on the phone that I would not confirm the work because we had other work being done that day. She seemed confused, as if no one had ever refused the "confirmation." I told her I wanted someone to contact me to "schedule" the service. I received no call back. About two weeks later I came home and found an invoice for "work completed." I later found out that they had called my husband the day before to confirm and he had forgotten to tell me. I found this process annoying. I would have liked to have been home during service and think they should make a point to schedule, not confirm services. As for the gutter itself, it looks fine. My husband returned home while they were still working and he said it looked like all they did was take a leaf blower to our roof, though we were told by our sales rep that they "hand scooped leaves? during cleanings. Since I wasn't there I don't really know. Oh one last piece, today I received an unsolicited email with a "Service Maintenance Contract." It had been drawn up for us with annual, bi-annual, and monthly service options for everything ranging from gutter work to in-home handyman repairs. It was fully customized with our address, contact info, all we needed to do was sign and send it back. I found this inappropriate and tacky. I *might* consider using them for gutter work in the future, but there is absolutely no way I would hire them for anything beyond that.

Terrible customer service. Completely unprofessional.
