It was great. I have had a very good experience working with them. I do an annual contract with them. They come out twice a year to maintain the system. They came out very quickly. It seems like they care about their clients. They are very respectful. They cover their shoes so they don't get your house dirty. They ask what is going on, they investigate and figure out what the issue is. Then they explain what they did. Or they explain what could be wrong or if something is wrong. Just a very professional experience. Very positive also. When you find a good one, you stick with them.

I do pay for the contract for the maintenance for the heating and A/C, the whole house humidifier and the water heater.

The people that came here were really nice. I think they gave me a good, fair price. It's hard because they made a mistake and it took them a long time to find it. They had a hard time identifying one of the cables they connected, and was shorting out, and sending false codes to my unit. One of the guys came in and said it was a short circuit. I kept getting error codes and it turns out it was just a tiny wire that goes from the inside unit to the outside unit that was not grounded properly. I think it was an honest mistake. I have mixed feelings. It took a new guy to come in and tell me. It just seemed suspicious to me. That little thing of not finding that short left a bad taste in my mouth. I recommended them to my sister. I didn't like that they tried to sell my sister a unit that she didn't have to have. I didn't like their underhanded way of selling. It was horrible. The people that came here were very cordial and professional. I couldn't tell if they were trying to bs me or not. They seemed to know more than other companies I have had. I just thought they were just trying to sell me things that I didn't need. Not pressure tactics, but just saying I needed something else. For regular maintenance, they are just fine. They are responsive. I like the fact that when they are going to send someone, they send a picture of the guy. They are well dressed. They are neat and responsible when they come into the house. They seem to be well behaved people. My contract with them just expired. I think I am going to try someone else next time.

In fact, they send me an email when the driver is on the way. One person comes out to perform the service. It generally takes about an hour. They leave the area clean when they are finished.

We have used them for probably 35 years. They've just done everything to do with our air conditioning and heating. We have a maintenance agreement with them and they come out twice a year and just check everything out. They've been very, very good. The few times when we've had a problem they've come. I have no complaints. For price, I'm assuming they're reasonable. You know very honestly, we haven't checked too many other places because as I say, we have a contract, but I think they're fair. They've always done a good job. They send a picture, and they've got what you should do down pretty well. They've been very good over all the years we've used them, they're efficient, they're prompt. We have no problems whatsoever. I'm not sure whether we used them in our other house, I think we might have, and when we moved here we just continued it. I don't know that we've ever used anyone else. I don't recall ever using another service. Mr. Garneski was the original person and how he uses other people, but as I say, I remember when his child was young and now he's a grown adult, so that's how long it's been.

They don't necessarily send out the same person for each visit.

I have used them for a couple of years now. For spring and fall maintenance. I have a service agreement with them for two hundred dollars a year, for two visits. Price is pretty good for our area. Just one worker. The work took under an hour to complete. The area was clean.

I would probably give them an A back then because if they weren't we would have gone to somebody else. I don't remember - that's 35 years ago.

They do a great job and they are always reasonably priced. We now have a maintenance contract with them again. They previous company we used for service did the repair wrong so Garneski Air Conditioning had to correct the problem.

Frank Garneski's been in the business for many years, maybe 30 or something like that. It's his company. He owns it and he really knows his business. They customized the system for me. They know what they're doing. They're honest. I had another outfit, the guy came out and he said I needed to replace something because it was corroded. I took a flashlight and looked and the guy was simply lying to get more business. Frank Garneski's does not do things like that. They're honest, they're professional. My experience is the best way to get a good company is to have a hands on owner who cares about his customers and his business and knows what he's doing.

They did do some work for us and they did a very good job. Scheduling was easy and they did a great job. They scheduled it and diagnosed it quickly. Then they had to order the part because it wasn't a common part they just had. So then they quickly rescheduled to come back out and replace it.

They have been servicing it ever since it was installed. They are excellent. I think the price compared well to others. I think the whole package was a good deal, you know the installation and the new unit and connecting it to the existing air handler system.

I knew that I'd soon be replacing my 14 year old AC unit. We were able to discuss options before it fails.

The Garneski technician did a thorough check up of my system and made me aware of any potential future issues that could arise, due to my unit being 10 years old.

We recently decided to have installed a top of the line heating/air conditioning unit from Carrier to replace our ageing and increasingly troublesome unit that had reached the end of its useful life. Our reason for using Garneski's for the installation was because of their past service, which we always considered excellent. We've never had to deal with answering machines and waiting for call backs. Carlos was our lead technician and customer representative. He's down- to- earth courteous, professional and knowledgeable and doesn't mind answering questions in detail. On the day of installation, Carlos, Li and Luis arrived promptly and completed the work within the day. We're very pleased with the final result these guys provided, and they cover their feet, which is great considering the foot traffic in and out of doors. Thank you, guys.

We have been true blue loyal Garneski customers for 29 years. It has been the best decision we've made concerning the maintenance of our home. We've never considered another AC/heating company, and many have come calling over the years. We stick with a proven winner. Garneski just installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit. The technicians did a topnotch job. We weren't surprised: We have found that everyone on the Garneski Team brings their "A Game" to work. They're professional, accommodating, courteous and driven by great customer service. They're also very nice people. Are we customers for life? You betcha.

The appointment was set up with courtesy and efficiency. Technician arrived on time. The work was finished in a completely professional manner. The technician found a problem in our heating system and he worked through the problem with diligence and a focus to completely resolve all issues. I am completely satisfied with this service call, and Garneski has proven again that they are a first rate company.

This had to be one of the hottest days, once more, in August in Virginia. The two technicians Willie and Luis were so professional and polite to us as we had been without AC more than 2 days until the equipment was ordered (one day) and installed the next day. They were every bit as hot as we were but only they were working and really working hard. So I would say they were much hotter working inside in limited space and of course the install in the heat and humidity outside. Great guys, great job and a great company to be in your home.

These folks are amazing. We had three companies come out, all recommended by Washington Gas, our gas provider. All three came the same day. Garneski came first and had their estimate to me within the hour. It was VERY reasonable, especially after I got the second company's estimate (had them beat by a $1000!). The third company never got back to me. The second company tried to match Garneski's quote but they didn't beat it to the point where I could overlook their original quote being so ridiculously high. Scheduling work: Garneski worked with me on my timeline and had the work scheduled within two days after their estimate. Their workers were prompt, respectful, and incredibly hard-working. They cleaned up after themselves and their service was exceptional. I talked to Mike Garneski on the phone a couple of times -- he was always very prompt and responsive. I cannot recommend this company enough! They are great!

Our AC/heatpump went out at the worst possible time, about 1 week prior to the major heat wave in Northern Virginia. I got quotes from several companies and they definitely made me feel the most comfortable with the quality compared to price. My service engineers were Luis and Jimmy. Both were extremely courteous and professional. They arrived on-time and started work independantly. Everything went smooth and then they finished the work. After they were done, they showed me the new heat pump/air handler that was added and how to operate/maintain them. In addition. They also explained how to operate the new Thermostat that was installed. I will continue to use Garneski as my HVAC repair going forward. Thank you for the great service!!

Garneski arrived when promised. The office rep kept me informed of the tech's route so I didn't have to stay at home all morning waiting. When the tech, Willy, arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. I have several properties and I know what certain repairs cost. Garneski charged me a reasonable and fair price. They are a family-owned, courteous, honest, competent and responsive company. I have used them for several years and have never been disappointed with their service.

Terrific service with a personable approach. I contacted six other HVAC companies before I felt like I was talking to a real person who cared enough to actually listen to the problem and offer multiple solutions. Our system was over ten years old and I wanted an expert opinion as to whether I should repair or replace the system. What I like most is I didn't feel pressured into to either option. I chose replacement but because of my work schedule I didn't have a much flexibility on installation dates. Again Garneski Air Conditioning & Heating Co worked with me on a time which was most convenient for both Garneski and myself. My installation crew included Mr. Carlos, Mr. David, and Mr. Luis all of whom went over and above to ensure the highest quality of service was provided.

They could turn up on time. They are good once they turn up, but they are a little bit late here turning up when they are supposed to. We had to reschedule a few times because they forgot they were supposed to come. They are professional once they got here.
