They work hard until they resolve your problems with the heating and air conditioning unit.

They came out and showed up when they said they would, but the person they sent was hard to understand and that was frustrating. They guy that came out did fix the heat pump and seemed to know what he was doing. They did not offer me options and since I did not have the options I felt I over paid by about 20%.

Their pricing is very good. They had won a national award, it would show on their website and it is printed on their material. They came when they said they would.

We still have not heard back from them.

Frank and his staff were friendly and very responsive through many email and phone conversations. Provided plenty of options with details, with no big sales push. Workers were friendly, fast and careful. When they hit snags due to the construction of the house, they discussed them with me before deciding on a solution. On the final inspection I found a minor problem and they fixed it immediately.

They are really good. Jimmy is the one that has been coming here for the last few years. He is thorough, professional, and explains things very well.

Since we started, they are punctual on calling for the exams and as punctual as you can be when dealing with equipment. They are usually able to get you an appt for days that work for you.

The builder-grade HVAC system in my house was never very good at maintaining selected temperature and wasn't very energy efficient. After two years of adding expensive Freon each spring, I was prepared to replace the AC with a heat pump or high efficency AC. Inspection found a crack in the heat exchanger, so I was in for an entire system replacement. Based on prior experience, I was pre-disposed to select a Carrier unit, but as I gathered cost estimates, I looked at other brands. I previously used Garneski to replace a smaller zone heat pump and was pleased with their maintenance service, so I included them in the bidding process. Frank Garneski, the owner, provided brochures and specs for different products, but more importantly, provided 30+ years of experience in helping determine the best match of equipment. I used that knowledge to request apples-to-apples equipment prices from several competitors. Ultimately, Garneski wasn't the highest or lowest bidder. I went back to Frank and negotiated a reduced-cost 10-year warranty plan to make up the difference in price. My prior system wasn't dead yet, so I waited about 10 days after signing the contract for the work to be done. It took one long work day of 12 hours to get the job done. I didn't stand over the installers, but stopped by regularly to see the work being done. The crew appeared very knowledgeable and were willing to explain what they were doing. The higher efficiency model required a second horizontal flue, and they worked with me to have that flue pipe exit in a discreet, somewhat hidden back side of the house. During testing, they determined that a component in the furnace was broken. Since it was summer, that wasn't essential, but they caught it at installation rather than having a service call at the first cold snap. They replaced that component a few days later. They cleaned up after themselves, took care to not damage the bushes that hide the outdoor compressor, and explained the high-end thermostat that is the key to the unit's efficiency. Frank came by the job a couple times during the day, and brought by the papers I would need to file for the federal tax credit. I was very pleased with the quality of installation and extremely pleased with the quality of the Carrier equipment. The variable fan is much more quiet indoors and provides a very uniform temperature in the house. The outdoor units are significantly more quiet, which is nice when we are out on the deck. And finally, the Carrier equipment (high efficiency heat pump-gas furnace combo) delivered significant reduction in my electric and gas bill. During the summer of 2009, my electric bill was about 25% lower than 2008. The winter electric bill was a little higher due to the operation of the heat pump, but my natural gas usage was about 20% lower even during very cold and snow winter of 2010. Garneski is a small shop, but the owner is very involved and that resulted in a quality installation. I have retained them for a maintenance service contract.

It turned out great. They are easy to work with. They are easy to schedule. They show up when they stay. They are corteous. The seem to be knowledgable. I would reccomned to everyone

There were no problems. We have used them for years. Their service is appropriate. Their explanations have been accurate. Along with quality their prices have been great.

This company's proposals and the costs associated with each proposal were the best of the four companies with whom I dealt. Proposal were crisp and easily understood. Questions were answered clearly and directly. Salesman did a thorough evaluation and considered all my concerns. Price was best of the four for the specific system I selected. Installation was within two weeks of contract and was done very neatly and professionally. Got a great explanation of the Infinity thermostat operation and warranties. Any face to face contact has left a good impression. Feel like I made a great choice in this company.

At best, Garneski misdiagnosed the problem, thinking that the lines were compromised when in fact they are fine. At worst this was an attempt to bilk the customer (again Garnesky quoted me $1,175 and I got it done for $230 by RAA Heating and A/C).

When they come, I like that they are prompt and thorough. I have two properties, one that I rent and one that I live in, and they found the exact same issue at both properties so I am starting to question them. I?m wondering if that is the ?repair of the month? that they are looking for or do I truly have the same problem at both properties. They appear to do a good job when they are here and they have been pretty good every time I?ve had them come out.

I can?t say anything nicer about them! They are wonderful. I will continue to use them in the future.

The technician was very professional and very nice. They came out when they said they would. He seemed to know what he was doing. We were very satisfied.

Very impressive group. They performed a good check of my HVAC system (staying about 30-45 minutes) and made some good suggestions about buying a new system when the time comes. They did not pressure me into buying unnecessary parts. This group seems to be very professional in that they do what they say they will when they say they will.

He arrived on time and waited while I was delayed in traffic. He got right to work and didn't charge any extra for the extra time. He was thorough in his examination, diagnosis, knew what he was doing and explained it fairly well (although English was not his first language). The property owner was pleased not to have to replace the whole unit, as repair cost about 20% of the replacement cost.

We've been satisfied with them, they do a good job. They are reasonable with their rates and we'll continue to use them.

The work turned out wonderful! I've used them once before and they were very good. They not only come on time but show up 5 minutes early. They are neat and clean and did everything I needed them to.
