Ellis Wallenbery was on time. He got right to work. Inspected, made recommendations, explained everything very well. Did a very fine job-excellent!

Technician arrived on time, provided estimate and then began work, cleaned up and was very friendly.

Wally was very knowledgeable, explained how to properly upgrade my transition venting and vent cover to reduce fire risk. All work completed in a professional and courteous manner.

I was originally scheduled for July 10th but a cancellation gave me access to Sami, the technician on July 8th. Sami was personable and professional and best of all, he fixed the hose!

The service attendant was very prompt, courteous and professional. He explained all the cost and services. He performed a thorough cleaning that took about 1 hour. I was very happy to find this service on Angie's List.

The visit went very well questions all answered. Sami was pleasant & on time.

It went very badly. FIRST, I left work early to meet them at the house only to get a call that they were really busy with another job and could I reschedule? No I could not. So they called me back and said they will be there at 1:30 (which was fine). I told them again to park in my reserved parking spot. SECOND Two technicians (and I use that term laughingly) show up after 1:30 and park in my neighbor's reserved spot. I go tell them to park in my spot but they tell me they are eating lunch! So 20 minutes later they start the job. THIRD While one is telling me what they will do, the second one starts pulling off my bi-fold doors to where the dryer. The billfold door did not have to be removed for this job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get him to stop pulling at the doors but he's already dislodge it from its track and he cannot fix it. So when my husband came home he had to fix the doors. FOURTH Outside other guy blew all the material that was in the vent all over my shrubs, lawn and sidewalk and never cleaned it up! FIFTH They also replaced the outside vent cover and threw the old vent cover behind the shrubs! So after they left I had to clean up the outside of my house and my husband had to fix the door they broke. SIXTH I spoke to the person who was supposed to be the owner and told him what happened. He said this situation was not representative of how the company operated and he would not cash my check. But instead of sending back my check, he cashed it! Well, live and learn. People in my office were waiting for me to report how DryVent Wizard's service was because the needed to have their vents cleaned. So now they know and you know how not to use this company..

The technician who came from Dryer Vent Wizard (Justin) was extremely professional and helpful. My 1 year old dryer had stopped drying and the dryer vent was filled with water. The technician noted that the vent was completely blocked and that a previous owner had tried to fix the rigid part of the vent with duct tape, which is highly flammable. I was highly satisfied with the work and the technician clearly took pride in his work and went out of his way to make sure the area was left clean. In fact, he even vacuumed my entire utility room! I will definitely use Dryer Vent Wizard in the future. I gave a B for price, simply because it was slightly more expensive that I expected but overall I think it was a fair price for the quality of work.

I was looking to have my semi-annual dryer vent cleaning. To schedule service with Dryer Vent Wizard you go through a national call center. They do not have pricing at the call center so if you ask for a price and they quote you a price ignore it. This happened to me and when the technician arrived the prices he quoted were no where near what I thought based on my phone call. Needless to say the appointment did not start off on the right foot. Ellis, the technician, was extremely professional about this misunderstanding. Upon arrival (and yes he arrived during the time frame quoted) he did a system inspection and made recommendations based on his findings. He thoroughly explained his recommendations but did not pressure me to have work done I did not want. Ellis worked with me to provide the services I needed at a fair price which included the new fire retardant transition venting and safety rated vent cover. While performing the work he discovered that the transition vent was not hooked up to the duct in the attic and made that repair at no additional charge. What started off on the wrong foot ended up being a good experience and I will use this company again.

Ellis was early. Knowledgeable, had to go on the roof to reach vent. Was not able to replace semi-rigid section in porch roof with rigid tubing.

Although I had a not-so-good experience with the first person who came out, I decided to call them to come out and fix the problem and posted a review on Angie's List. The owner personally called to apologize and make it right. Ellis (who was not the original tech) just left. He did a great job. I'm now a satisfied customer.

Excellent, timely arrival. Very knowledgeable. Knew how to diagnose and repair every problem. Gave me useful referrals for washer/dryer replacements.

Justin arrived during the provided time window. He was polite and professional. The cleaning only took about half an hour.

Ellis was excellent. He was very personable, professional and obviously takes pride in his work. He performed all work as expected and was very responsive. I opted to wait until we were doing some further renovations rather than tear out the drywall immediately. He offered to return at no additional charge at that time to complete the work. Scheduling was slightly frustrating as it is all run through a national call service, but the local technician is great.
