Very friendly, thorough job of cleaning our dryer vent. Did a full inspection of our system (including the washer connections), made recommendations for additional repairs and services BUT did not push or try to 'up-sell' in an aggressive way. Replaced our old outside exhaust flap. Our vent is tricky, has a bunch of turns in it and then runs the whole length of the house from the front to the back, so I appreciate him taking the time to show me what had to be done. I had a few follow-up questions after the visit, and both the owner and the technician made sure to get back to me within 24 hours. They are a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. We'll use them again for sure.

We knew what needed to be done, and the technician was spot on with his recommendations. The work performed was excellent and the dryer is now working as it should, so no complaints whatsoever on the quality of the work. That said, I was able to schedule the appointment on the day and time that I wanted the service--Monday at 8:30 AM. I was told that someone would call to see if I had any questions before the service, and that was done, including a follow-up call to ensure that my questions had been answered. So there were 3 contacts with the company prior to the scheduled service, which stood out as good customer service. However, not once during those 3 contacts was I informed that the 8:30 AM appointment was actually a 1-hour "window" for the technician's arrival, meaning between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. When the technician was not here at 8:55, I called the company and was then informed about the arrival "window." The technician called within 5 minutes of my call, and said that he would be here at 9:30 AM sharp. He arrived at 9:55 AM with no further call, but he did offer a simple apology about traffic delays when he arrived. The technician was wearing a VERY stained shirt. It looked as if it hadn't been washed in weeks. I can understand that the job would likely get one dirty, but this was his first appointment of the day and his personal appearance was unacceptable. I offered to let him in, and when I saw the condition of his shoes, I asked him to wait until I could get a rug for him. He immediately said he had booties to cover his shoes, and went back to his truck to get them. He should have had them with him and put them on without me asking. Lastly, he put his tool box on the dryer, leaving the top of it quite scratched. He should have put down a cloth of some sort to protect it. The company's paperwork is single-copy, so you have to have the capability to make a photocopy or take a photo of your receipt. We did not make the copy, so we do not yet have a receipt. It will be mailed. So my recommendation is to use the company, but be aware of the 1-hour scheduling window and be sure to keep an eye on the technician to prevent possible damage to hardwood floors or other surfaces. Also know that if you want a receipt, you'll have to make your own photocopy while the technician is still present.

Walley Wallenberg arrived on time and performed the services the same day. Walley was not only friendly and professional but spent time patiently explaining everything he was doing. He performed the services to the exact requirements we had and cleaned up after he finished. We will definitely use this company again and were extremely pleased with the outcome.

Wally from NoVA Dryer Vent Wizard did a fantastic job removing a birds nest from a very difficult to reach spot. Wally climbed up three stories at a somewhat steep angle (I live in a city) to replace an old and partially functioning dryer vent hood that had a screen trap. He also was able to thoroughly clean the vent line. His effort and professionalism were most appreciated. Will use them again in the future.

Made appointment over the phone. Phone call before to let me know. Technician was professional & quick to recommend solutions. I felt competent in his knowledge and work. Service call fee was independent of fees for repairs, so it was a bit more than I expected.

Scheduling was pretty easy, but again, a four hour window. Wally called twenty minutes before that was to expire and made it right in time. He got right to it, explaining the process and guarantee. I was surprised about the price, but assume that since it was something we could have done but didn't want to crawl under the deck it is worth it (and in the rain!). I appreciate the guarantees as well. I would have appreciated a little prior knowledge of cost involved. That info is impossible to find beforehand!

Andrew was very courteous and professional. He explained everything very well and succinctly which was refreshing. The job was done quickly and he installed quality new vent work, which will keep my dryer functioning safe & efficiently for years to come. I'm quite satisfied.

Wally came within the expected time frame. Request to be in the earlier part of that time frame was honored. Work was completed more quickly than estimated.
