Ellis was great. Showed up when stated. Explained all the work to be done. Cleaned up everything on completion and explained all charges. Really good experience.

All information of services and costs were proposed before any work done. Very professional,neat, and efficient. I had printed the $10 Angie's coupon for my service and forgot to give it at time of service. I contacted the service person and he informed me that he would forward it to his boss. I paid with a check, so I guess I will not be credited the $10. The boss never contacted me. That is my mistake and loss? Have signed a contract with yearly service, so I believe they should honor the coupon for future service or reimburse for being a member and signing a yearly service contract.

Replaced old dryer venting and replaced outside vent. Work well done and even came back out a second time to install a "better" vent on outside. Very much appreciate the diligence they showed.

I was impressed that the owner would call me to follow up. Evidently, I had first spoken to a person at a call center, who was unauthorized to speak for the local franchise owner regarding work permits. Mr. Bittner offered to send his technician to evaluate the scope and cost of my project and provide an estimate. He is willing to apply for a work permit. We set up an appointment for the estimate.

It went very well. Jason called in advance with the estimated time of his arrival and he arrived on time. He inspected my current system and carefully explained what he found, which was mostly flexible and poorly secured duck work. He checked the outside vent to determined how much air was passing through the vent. He then recommended what could be done be done to improve and create a more stable dryer vent system, one that would be more effective and easier to clean and maintain. While the price was higher than I expected, I thought it was fair because Jason spend about half of the day at my home. I carefully watched what he was doing, virtually every step of the process, and was very impressed with the care he took to do a thorough job. For example, all the joints were carefully taped for reinforcement. When Jason was done the air flow through the vent had doubled. I agreed to a plan that would have Dryer Vent Wizard contact me for maintenance on an annual basis.

My dryer vent was leaking water and clogged. I had a vent cleaner come out on an Angies list coupon. He stated he could not do the job and left. Still trying to get refund. I called my Air Conditioner contractor. They said they didn't do that kind of work. I finally called Vent Wizard, Fairfax. They came out the next day. They were professional. They knew dryer vents. They were courteous and clean. They did the job. I requested a price to upgrade our old vent material which was prone to catching fire with new material that was more fire resistant. I also requested a price to modernize the vent cap outside to one more pest proof. There was no pressure to sell me something. The upgrades were reasonable and well done. I would use these folks for dryer vents again. It is a niche market most don't service well. Dryer Wizard does a great job. Highly recommended.

On time, competent, performed all services well and was knowledgeable.

Technician called in advance that he would be a few minutes late. Explained the problem and went over the proposal work sheet. I actually used this company three years ago before I was on Angie's List member. Price-although seems higher than other lesser companies, a thorough cleaning means you don't have to clean every six month as with Sears.

Ellis was knowledgeable and found problems we didn't know about, possibly saving us from a house fire.

We called this company after noticing problems from a previous dryer vent cleaning four months earlier as the room felt like a sauna when the dryer ran. The technician Ellis, was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem rather quickly. It turns out the previous company hadn't even cleaned our dryer vent properly and had somehow damaged the vent in the process. Our vent exit was under the deck and he actually crawled under the deck to clean it out the right way. A new vent cover was installed and the dryer vent joints were also properly taped. He did an excellent job as the laundry room doesn't feel like a sauna anymore. The only small negative was that he didn't wear shoe covers which left dirt and dust around the house. However, I would gladly use this company again since they did the job right the first time. Sometimes, you just need to pay a little more to ensure good quality.
