The entire transaction was excellent. The company and its personnel are professional and ethical. They took extraordinary care of my belongings for 33 months. I highly recommend the company.

Aubrey, the president, came out for an in-home estimate. Boxcart wasn't the cheapest, but their price was competitive, and we went with them because we felt confident that they would do a good job and would take measures to protect our belongings as well as our floors. They were very responsive and accommodating with questions and when we needed to move the date. The movers were prompt and worked very quickly and efficiently, despite the fact that it rained most of the day. They wrapped all of the furniture and used new furniture blankets. Everything arrived in good shape. We were billed the next business day, and there were no surprises. I would use Boxcart again and recommend them to others.

It was fantastic! Boxcart does NOT use day laborers, so there were no surprises. The work crew in DC and the crew that delivered my goods to Georgia were very hard working, professional, efficient and friendly. I needed to move some old furniture out of my house to make room for my new furniture, and Gustavo and Ishmael did it without complaint (note that since this was an extra service, I tipped them generously). They moved everything in and reassambled my furniture and -- miracle of miracles-- there was NO damage! In fact, the only thing that was damaged was one broken wine glass. I HIGHLY recommend Boxcart, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Fair prices, excellent work, and white-glove care for your belongings -- you'll be glad you hired Boxcart!!

The movers arrived on time and were very efficient. They made sure that every thing was wrapped properly so that both the furniture and the house were not damaged by the move. All the staff were very courteous and helpful, and in the end, the movers were able to finish faster than the estimated time. I am very satisfied and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality movers at a very reasonable price.

We used them only for moving. They were very responsive. They sent the right amount of people and estimated the right amount of time. The people worked very hard all day long. They did a very good job.

The team was great. The appointment was setup very easily and the boss had come over to our apartment to explain their business and how they will approach the move. They came as planned and were quick as possible though we felt sorry for them having to carry all those items 3 flights of stairs as the elevator in the building was too small (made for people and not furniture). Let me tell you what they did that was completely different from every move I had (includes 12 moves while in the military) which I thought was outstanding. They placed carpet runners throughout the apartment so they would not track the carpets. They also did the same at the townhome. In addition, they placed the runners up/down the stairs of the townhome and padding blankets around the railing of the stairs so as not to scratch or damage any furniture. This was great. If/when it is ever time to move again, I will definitely keep them in mind but a definite node of approval for a very professional and courtesy team. Thank you.

Did not get an email response as of Tuesday, 4/12/11, so I called to follow up. I told the woman who answered the phone that I had not gotten a response to my email and there was no apology. I explained that I was looking for an estimate for an in-home move - needed to move a large, custom-made chest of drawers up 2 levels of my townhome and a smaller chest down 2 levels. The response was that they don't do jobs that small because they have a 3-hour minimum. That could've easily been emailed to me and, had it been, this report would have been far more positive.

The company provided great service. Everything from coming out for the estimate, to the packers on Friday, and the guys who moved our goods on Saturday. We have moved about 14 times both local and long distance and I must say that this was probably the best. They were just a cut above the rest in the handling of our goods with nothing broken, no damage, and really nice experienced crews.

We actually moved one set of boxes and containers to do the staging last February. We did one more move out in the end of March. We moved everything here in June 2, 2010. The pricing was all right. They did a really good job moving everything. The movers worked really. I don't think anything broke, even if it did it was just minor. One thing they offered was, we had boxes in the attic in the old house. They said if we move them down ourselves, they will give discount. They gave us one hour free of travel charge since we did some of the work ourselves. They even stored our boxes for a couple of months while we were living elsewhere.

Aubrey came to my apartment and gave me an estimate the same day. One of my friends had used the company for a move from VA to NC and they had a great experience. The company was very responsive in answering questions as the move got closer and as stated above, all went very well. I had a lot of furniture and boxes and miraculously, it actually all fit into the truck! Life is good in my new home - now unpacking!!

Great contact and followup before the move. Very professional and responsive. Confirmed 2 days before. Arrived 20 minutes early. Good big clean truck, 3 professional hard working men in the crew, as promised. Easy to communicate with them. Shrink-wrapped everything, padded everything extremely well and transported it that way. Handled 54" plasma TV with great care. No surprises in pricing. Nothing damaged. Good proactive followup after the move to make sure all was ok. All in all, simply put, there is no comparison to any of the 6 other movers we've used in the last 33 years moving around the DC Metro area. This company is the best!

It was excellent excellent service. I got them through Angie's List. They didn't have very many ratings. Their climate control storage came out and gave a really fair quote. It was competitive with other people we checked with. Their service was excellent. They came in and gave us a quote. They packed everything up and they are storing my household goods while I am over in Afghanistan. They are a very professional company. The owner came out and talked to us. They used text and were able to fill out forms. You could do them electronically. They were very professional forms, not handwritten or anything. The price I paid was for packing, moving, and for storage. I would recommend them to friends and family members. Their price was a tiny bit higher than the other companies, but it was so insignificant with all the other things packed in that we decided it was very little. It was almost $75. It wasn't much more. I would definitely consider using them again in the future.

No problems - prompt on both occasions, attentive to details for placement of storage container. No mess or damage in placement or retrieval.

Awesome - highly focused on customer service. Prices better than competitors. Showed up both times when they said and responded to pick-up request within 24 hours!

While the movers were a bit late, they quickly moved and packed everything up. They took a chair and a tv to a nursing home (not pre-arranged), and then went to Herndon VA and unloaded everything into our garage. They were very helpful as were (and are) all the staff in the office. I'd use them again, and recommend them highly.

They did a good job and I have no complaints. They finished on budget.

It went very well, from the initial consultation to the move itself. The individual providing the estimate came prepared with a binder showing how they wrap furniture. He explained the company and exactly what they would do. His initial estimate turned out higher than what we paid due to the actual weight of what we had moved. On packing up day, the movers (3) came promptly and very effciently loaded items into the truck. They were especially respectful of the fact that I was working from home, so moved things out of my office first so that I would not be further disturbed. Once the truck was weighed, we were immediately informed of the revised amount. On moving day, the movers were at the new home even before we arrived. They quickly moved in the furniture to where we designated. Again,they were very nice and took great care with our items. Overall, a great experience!

It was not a good experience. We ended up with a lot of broken things and scratched floors. We are trying to pay our bill. There was a guarantee and they are giving us a hard time about it. We spent $1350. The price was competitive. The sales guy was good but I think that they probably hired people who don?t really necessarily care. They were also very slow. They were quick to respond at the beginning but when I called them on the bad experience, they never really called back. I will not recommend them. I will not use them again.

BoxCart was great from start to finish. They came out before the move to give me an estimate--they were quick and thorough, and at the end of the process set up a portable printer and gave me the estimate on the spot. BoxCart was affordable and much more responsive than anyone else I spoke with, so I decided to work with them. On the day, 3 movers dispatched the job very quickly, wrapping my larger pieces carefully and packing everything into containers. Owner Amy Stowell called several times during the process to check up on things, which really helped to set my mind at ease on a crazy day. I would definitely use BoxCart again--they are professional, competitive, and offer fantastic personal service.

Aubrey, one of the partners, came out and gave us an accurate estimate of the cost. He was wonderful to work with, and with their moving and storage capabilities, as well as their responsiveness and excellent attention to detail on the admin side, I really felt like he took care of all my concerns about the move. He was patient, thorough, kind and helpful, and all their admin people were extremely helpful. The movers did a good job moving things out of the house. The foreman and a helper showed up right on time, but the other members of the crew were a couple hours late, however, so I think the move out took a little longer than it should have. On the other end, moving into the new house, a couple of the guys on the crew didn't seem to be able to read the boxes (we labelled them with things like Bed 1, Bed 2, Basement, kitchen, etc.), so we were finding some of them in the wrong rooms, or would need to station ourselves so as to direct them with each load. Some of the guys were more careful/cautious than others -- there were a few scrapes and scuttled paint spots. However, they did manage to get an oversized piece of furniture into a teeny room per my request, which took some skill and patience.

Boxcart was awesome from the get go. The first meeting was painless and they were very clear as to everything in the contract. We gathered a few other quotes (including a move out/1 month storage/move in) and they beat the closest competitor by several hundred dollars. the customer service was great through out - very responsive to both email and calls - and the crews were clean, professional, and efficient. I recomend Boxcart to anyone and everyone who asks (and even some who dont)!

I had a great experience with Boxcart from the initial phone call to the completion of the move. At every stage, they were professional and thorough. The movers were excellent, and the company honored their guaranteed-not-to-exceed price even though my move took several hours longer than estimated.

The crew was very professional. All my floors were protected before they started to move. They wrapped the furniture in blankets and plastic, then moved these items carefully down - and some of the items are 4 floors down - to the ground. I was so amazed. When we move the rest of our things, BoxCart will be there for us!
