 + 1 moreEverything was great!! The employees were friendly, prompt, and efficient! I had absolutely no promblems and everything went smoothly. I was amazed at the difference in my kitchen after the solar tube installation! The cleanup was great; they left my patio and yard cleaner than it was when they started! They were even willing to work with me on methods of payment. Several of my neighbors had their roofs redone with other companies and the amount they paid was far more than what I paid, and they experienced problems with their companies. I highly recommend Gregory's and I plan to hire them again for other things around my house.
Description of Work: I had a new roof installed as well as a solar tube placed in the kitchen, gutter helmet installation, and removal of a downspout with a new downspout installed.

 + -1 moreThe work was done quickly and appears to have been done properly and professionally. They lose a couple of points with us for not picking up after themselves. We found quite a few lag screws and other sharp objects like shards of aluminum guttering in the yard.

 + 0 moreThe job was completed with excellent workmanship. A crew of up to eight worked on three different days. (weather was a factor in finishing early the first day). The crew also cleaned up thoroughly. CertainTeed Landmark shingles were installed. The downside was having to be patient to get the job scheduled. The deposit was made in early August, but the job was completed in mid October. The custom chimney work (which was not time crucial), was completed in early March 2017.
Description of Work: Complete roofing job; remove old shingles, replace two underlayment plywood boards. Remove warped shingles around chimney and replace with custom color vinyl siding.

 + -1 moreThey worked within our schedule. They arrived on time and completed the job within one day. They were neat and tidy as they worked and very polite when dealing directly with us. They were quiet...for putting on a roof and did not cause our dogs any concern. When finished, they picked up, packed up and left just as quietly as they had arrived that morning. Since we have dogs, we ran our own magnet the next day and only found a few nails left over, it was dark when they finished and we were pleased they had cleaned up as well as they had. We are extremely happy with the work and would recommend "Gregory's Inc" to everyone!
Description of Work: We had the old shingles and paper removed and new shingles and paper installed as well as shutters put up. We have several tube skylights on our roof which they had to work around. They did not push additional services even after my wife suggested we could get new siding at the same time as the roof, they actually said there was nothing wrong with the siding and if it was just a color preference they could do it, but would not necessarily recommend it. After a storm had left some water in a kitchen cabinet, David Gregory came out to look at our problem. He said our skylights were fine but one of our vent collars was cracked and that was what had caused the issue. He told us the wood on the roof was still okay and he did not feel any weak spots but the shingles were beginning to show their age and would probably need to be replaced, we were at 17 yrs on 15 yr shingles. He then went back up on the rood and caulked the split vent collar at no charge. We decided to go ahead and replace the roof and we did go with the top end 40 year shingles and got extra, so we could redo our shed roof ourselves (consider that when looking at the price). We must add that we did not "shop around" for roofers. A co-worker recommended Gregory's after his brother had them do some work, and after speaking with David, we had such a good vibe about working with them and the cost seemed reasonable so we decided not to seek other quotes.

 + -1 moreIt was determined that the cause of the leak was a cracked seal on a vent pipe. Multiple methods to fix the issue was given. I was out of town when the work was completed and had Gregory's install permanent boots around all 3 vent pipes. Gregory's did a great job and I would hire them again.

David stopped by and said the metal was for runoff from the chimney and nothing needed to be done. He did not charge us anything. We will definitely use Gregory's for any future roofing needs!

 + -1 moreChecked gutter function while raining. Love to hear the sound of water trickling to the downspouts. No leaking underneath gutters in some spots where the pitch was off. Gutters snug, functioning properly, and water getting to downspouts and draining away from foundation. Excellent work. Mr. Gregory came out and performed an estimate. He did not pressure me into anything I did not need. His explanation regarding questions I had about Gutter Helmet system was honest since I did some research myself. He even took the time to get on a ladder and make sure the drip edge was seated properly. The estimate was performed April 27 and the on site work May 16. He informed me two weeks to perform work. In all fairness it has been raining frequently but he still sent his man out to get the work done.
Description of Work: checked all gutters for proper pitch. checked to make sure gutter snug up against facia. secured gutter mount spikes where needed. cleaned gutters (but not too much debris). checked downspouts and mounting brackets. Secured gutter to house in case mounting spikes work their loose, which they will.
