Description of Work: Tore off an existing roof and exterior insulation panels under the roofing shingles, then applied sheathing, a vapor barrier, and roofing shingles, in addition to replacing a few pieces of roofing board. The roof was extremely steep and very unconventional. The odd shape of the roof and previous questionable installations allowed water to get under the shingles, compromising the foam insulation panels and 2x6 tongue and groove roofing boards, which caused leaks and allowed bats to crawl under the shingles and gain entry into the house. The crew had to tear off the shingles and two layers of foam insulation, which was extremely time consuming on a roof that steep. The crew had a very in depth understanding of this type of roof and what was needed to prevent future problems. Everything worked out great an now for the first time since the house was built in the early 1980's, the roof is reliable. Excellent work ethic from the entire Gregory's Inc. crew.

Description of Work: Gregory's Inc inspected and repaired my roof (secured loose shingles, replaced 8 missing shingles, sealed chimney/roof seam) on small 2-story cape cod. Count me among those who are satisfied with the quality, punctuality, and thoroughness of the job. They were diligent about keeping a close eye on the weather to find the half-day opportunity to get the job done before prevailing severe weather moved in. Excellent customer responsiveness.

Description of Work: They removed all the old shingles; installed ice dams throughout,(there were none on the original roof) and re-roofed the entire roof with 30 year archtectual shingles and installed one solotube above the 2nd bathroom. |The job went very smoothly; the workmen; particularly the leader, were very professional and efficent. Description of Work: Provider lost our information on our order after sending deposit -- was supposed to re-submit a new proposal and haven't heard from them yet. They are a very professional organization and very decent to deal with, with great prices, but this one just fell through the cracks.

Description of Work: Asked for advice/estimate on leaking chimney. Thought it may be flashing or roofing. Gregory's came and looked and provided a number of options, none that would involve his company directly. He felt that the second roof was not an issue and probably could last another 10 years; he indicated that the way the chimney was built may be a problem because the between the stones could absorb moisture and leak inside; looked at previous water damage and didn't feel it required their services. He suggested we try sealing the chimney first before considering a more expensive option. He was thoughtful and professional and didn't try to sell us on any particular option. Would consider using them in the future based on this experience.

Description of Work: I had Gregory's install a ridge vent on my roof. They also gave me an estimate to replace my gutters. Great service from beginning to end. Very professional and easy to deal with. I'll be using them to replace my gutters soon. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Small job replacing shingles on a very tall structure. Came for estimate exactly when I was available. Service provided quickly before huge rain. We weren't home and they called when job was completed. They came in 25% under their estimate. Very professional. Certainly would use again.
