Excellent! Dana is a true professional. He told me he would be here before Monday, June 3. Sure enough he arrived on Friday and the job was done in thirty minutes. It would have taken us hours to get those stumps out. I would definitely recommend Strictly Stumps, Inc and will use them again in the future.

Very well. The company also has a large staff to clean up after the job. Everyone was courteous and professional. No mess was left behind. The man who took down the branch was smooth and fast.

Strictly Stumps returned my call the same day I contacted them, and came out the following day to provide a quote that was better than any of the other vendors I contacted. The work was completed less than a week later and the results were phenomenal. Strictly Stumps did a wonderful job with the clean up, too.

I called the company on a Thursday and left a message. Mark returned my call the same day. I requested an estimate on cutting down 3 trees. We had marked the trees with orange tape so we did not need to be home to identify the trees. Mark promised to be out to look at the trees by Tuesday. Since I did not receive a quote by Tuesday I called Mark and left a message. He returned my call by 8AM the next morning and apologized. They were busy with other jobs and promised to be here the next day. Our job was not urgent. He was here early the next morning, left me a quote and called me that same day. We discussed the price and the fact that we just needed the trees cut down to the stump and dropped. They did not need to cut up the trees or haul them away. The trees were being cut on the lot next to our home and the builder had refused to cut the trees down even though they were dead and if they fell, there was a good chance they would fall on our home. Mark and his crew were here the next day and cut the trees down. They were friendly and professional. We would definitely use their services again if the need arose. Thank you Mark and crew for a job well done!!

I called Strictly Stumps while I was waiting for a response from another company. They returned my call right away, got me an estimate by the next day and came to grind the stump down the day after I told them to come take care of it. Even though I told them I didn't need to be present for them to do their job I still received a call that they were on there way and was given the name and contact number for the person coming to do the job. They were friendly and they completed the job in just over an hour. We were happy with their work and we have already recommended them to another friend.

Excellent job and service- I'd use them again. We had two stumps in our backyard that we needed ground down. We found Strictly Stumps, Inc., in the yellow pages. They promptly returned our e-mail, came out to our house to examine the job, and gave us the $400 estimate that turned out to be the price we paid. Strictly Stumps correctly told us up front that they don't remove the sawdust/mulch generated by the stump grinding (which was good, because we wanted it). On February 28, they came out exactly on time, to include calling us to tell us they were en route. The employee's name was Dean and he had a younger helper. Dean correctly noted that the yard was wet that day, and that the machinery going up our slope into our backyard will leave indentations in the yard and tear up the grass a bit. He asked if it was OK to continue, and we said yes. Dean and his helper then did a superb job of grinding down the stumps and finished the job in about 3 hours. Payment by check was fine. The mulch and sawdust left behind has been very good for our landscaping needs! We were very pleased.

They were great. They came out right away and gave me an estimate $800 cheaper than the one other tree service that showed up. They were fast, friendly and professional. The best part was, when I bounced their check (!) by accident (I never do that), they were completely cool about that. (I of course made it right shortly afterwards.)

The price was great and they did a great job! They are really terrific!

The crew leader explained the work to me thoroughly before the work started. We had an estimate within a day. They worked us in first thing in the morning before they went to a larger job to meet our rush need.The team arrived with a large truck, shredder, stump grinder, and went to work with precision, exacting care, expertise and obvious experience. They had the entire job done and were on their way with a truck full of what had been a truck and stump and a clean parking lot and unharmed surrounding plants in an hour and 15 minutes. The crew leader did a recap and took care of paper work/payment with me and they were on their way. These folks clearly know what they are doing AND deal with people in all the important ways extremely well. I highly recommend to others. A+ company.

Strictly Stumps gave us a great price and in a situation where a mistake could have dropped a limb through our glass roof they were very careful. The grounds were cleaner when they left than before they came, and the owner was gracious and accommodating about some special requests I had for keeping some branches for disease testing and cutting the trunk into logs.

Strictly Stumps came through once again! Technically, the tree was the property of the community in which we live. However, the HOA could not get a return call from the company with whom we have an on-going service contract, nor could they get a call back from another provider they tried to reach. (In fairness to those companies, many were dealing with more dangerous tree removal situations that took priority over ours, however we would have appreciated a call back to know we were on the schedule.) I offered to call Strictly Stumps. They called me back immediately! The HOA was so impressed with their customer service and our experience with Strictly Stumps earlier in the year that they had them do 2 other jobs in the community when they came to remove our tree. Strictly Stumps really went above and beyond. They came on the morning of July 4th (!) to remove those trees. The one on our house was tricky because it was precariously positioned on our roof and took ropes and pulley to get it down without causing further damage. The other tree removal jobs cost significantly less then ours. (The $1,200 was just for our tree.) Plus they cleaned up the area, so not a bit of wood dust or small branches or even leaves were left behind.

They gave me a rough estimate over the phone based on the number and size of the stumps. The estimate ended up being within $50 of what it actually cost. They came to do the work within a few days. Because there was some confusion over which stumps and I could not be reached, they had to come back the next days. The stumps were ground out to well below ground level as promised, except for one which was too close to another tree and could not be done because it would have damaged the live tree.

We had a GREAT experience with Strictly Stumps. I saw their ad in the Angie's List magazine and decided to give a call. Our attempt to find someone last summer failed; the other companies said they couldn't get their equipment over our fence or through our back gate. Strictly Stumps was going to be my last attempt to deal with the issue. I called on April 2nd, spoke to Mark and requested an estimate. He said they'd come by in the next couple of days and leave a written estimate on my door if I wasn't home. Around noon on April 4th, I got a call from Mark, he estimated $225 for the job & confirmed that he could get his equipment into our back yard (by removing the door on the gate). He said he could do the work that day if we gave him the okay. When I got home the stumps had been grinded, the wood made into mulch and spread back over the area. (And our door was back on the gate.) We're over the moon with the job they did and found Mark easy to work with. With the Angie's List discount the job came to $202.50; well worth the money!

I give them an "A" overall. I would use them again in the future.

Dana was punctual and responsive. He came out and provided a written estimate on the spot. They removed two stumps for me, both by hand because of where they were located, removed all debris, and then carefully filled in the holes and returned my yard in a better condition than when he started. I would definitely recommend Strictly Stumps.

Initially I telephoned Dana Woolsey to provide an estimate to cut down a tree and grind three stumps. I cut down the tree Dana had based his estimate on and then cut down another tree. There was an old stump left over from a tree that had been cut down several years ago. I also had some azalea bush roots that needed grinding. The job had changed quite a bit from when Dana had come out for the initial estimate so he came out again to give a revised estimate. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the timeliness with which the work was done, the price and the personalities of Dana and his coworker.

Very professional and thorough. Estimate was provided promptly and work was scheduled and completed without any complications.

They removed 6" stump from my front yard. I didn't realize that I need to clean up it myself. That would be extra charge. I have asked him several questions about the tree which he gave me good advices. Their price is higher than the other companies but the other companies do not show up. After long waiting, I have called strictly stump and they got it done the next day.

They responded to my inquiry quickly. They came to the house, gave an instant estimate and did the work the next day. We are very pleased.

The company wouldn't setup an appointment to do an estimate, but would drive by some day next week to get an estimate. They also wouldn't setup an appointment for when the tree was to be cut, but would stop buy to do the tree. It wasn't exactly the way I wanted the tree cut, but it was good enough, and the shrub was removed as promised.

I received the estimate on Saturday, and the work was completed on Tuesday.

Initial conversation was pretty quick, they would stop by between a couple of days to do an estimate. I wanted to setup an appointment to make sure I can explain everything I want done. They would rather me do it over the phone. After getting me an estimate a couple of days later than expected, I went ahead and had them do the work. Again, they gave me a couple of days that they would show up, not a specific day. They did the work the last day of the scheduled time frame, and removed the bush as expected. As for the tree trimming, I pictured it slightly different, but I am not unhappy with the work, just not what was expected. A little more professionalism is needed from this company, but this wasn't a dire emergency involving a tree on top of my house. I have heard from other people that when there is an emergency, this is the company to call. I would use them again.
