Would definitely use them again or recommend to others. Mike is an arborist. He knows how to trim trees and well as removed them. He's not just another guy with a chain saw.

Description of Work: Mitchell Tree service came to my house with a crew and cleared out my fallen trees, being ever so considerate not to do damage to my fence. I have them in my file, and I will use them again.

Description of Work: Mitchell's Tree and Stump Service crew arrived in a timely manner. They came to remove a dead tree in the front yard, and to trim large broken and damaged limbs from the large tree that overhangs our house and porch roof. The dead tree was cut to ground level, and its trunk and branches were quickly and efficiently sawed into lengths and carried to the chipper. The broken limbs were cut off and eased to the ground and cut into pieces and chipped. The chips, twigs and leaves were quickly raked up and put in the chipper wagon. The entire crew was polite, professional, and pleasant to have on our property. The large tree with the broken limbs looks much better, and the overhanging limbs were trimmed such that the whole tree looks so much better. The crew worked smoothly, using ropes, pulleys, harnesses, and chain saws. They did everything well, Our family watched the process and the crew politely answered our questions about the trees. They talked to us about what we wanted and then delivered it. The yard looked better when they left than when they arrived. We have many trees on our property and have used this company several times over the past number of years. I would recommend Mitchell's Tree service without reservation.

Description of Work: Mike and his crew of 3 came to our home and spent the entire day taking down several trees, grinding stumps, and chipping brush.

Description of Work: We had a bradford pear tree originally planted well too close to our house and always growing onto the house and out onto the sidewalk. Due to the great cost and time required to keep it constantly trimmed in, we decided to have it removed.

Description of Work: Willow tree leaning up against house. Mitchell Tree and Stump came round following evening of call and gave estimate and date and time of when job could be done. They arrived on time; removed tree without any damage to roof, gutter, or deck; took the tree parts away; and cleaned up all wood shavings, etc.

Description of Work: Mr. Mitchell came to my yard and assessed the trees in question and gave me a comprehensive lesson on the arbor-habitat in my yard. He informed me of advantages and disadvantages to drainage, surface roots, and other unique features of the trees in question. He educated me in how to tell if a tree is living and how squirrels will attack Beech trees as I have learned from the experience beforehand. He took the time to convey a wealth of information. I learned that my trees were actually healthy and did not need his service. I thanked him for his honesty since he could have easily told me whatever and I would have not known any better. His quote was "honesty is the way doing business ought to be" and I was impressed with his good character since you don't expect to find such honesty in self employed home improvement company owners. After spending 30 minutes detailing all I needed to do to help the trees thrive, I felt guilty that he had given me so much time without asking for money that I asked that he remove three fallen trees from the woods behind my house which he scheduled to do within four days at a minimal cost. Honesty and time for the customer...that's customer service at it's best.

Description of Work: I used Mitchell Tree & Stump Service in August. Mike Mitchell removed a couple of trees out of which one was quite large. We have a large property and there were lot of trees that were damaged. He did some trimming in trees that had damage.
