Great! Very thorough and knowledgeable!

Items were found that builder had missed and whole home systems and expected maintenance were explained in manageable detail. Was extremely happy with the service provided and would recommend without hesitation.

Taylor was very professional and got to the point with everything. He was fast but he was also very thorough and efficient. He knew how to explain things on why they would need fixed and he went above and beyond to make sure that everything he could get to was checked properly.

Wonderfully! Fred was incredibly helpful. The only negative I can think of is that he got stuck in traffic (which isn't even really his fault) and was a tiny bit late. We still finished the inspection on time and to my satisfaction. Highly recommend his services!

It went well. He looked at every appliance in the house, electric, plumbing, windows roof and outside of the house. He emails you the report he typed up through out the inspection that lists 3verything he talked about and what he recommends to fix and how to fix ( if applicable)

Everything about the process went perfectly from the first contact to schedule through the final report. Paul was early for our appointment, walked us through the process before he started, was very thorough in his inspection, explained each thing he discovered both good and problematic, answered our many questions, gave us a very detailed report when he finished the appointment and sent it immediately to our e-mail with explanations and pictures. Fred was very helpful, punctual, professional, and took time to answer all of our questions. He explained everything to us: What he did, what he didn't do, etc. He was very thorough. He told us what needed the most attention(immediate fix) and what not to worry about (ie, easily fixable), and in the end, he gave us an honest opinion about the condition of the house, which was good and thorough report.

I purchased my home over a year ago, but the documentation and suggestions that Fred provided have been resources I continue to turn to for minor home improvements. Fred encouraged me to go through all the inspection areas with me, pointing out any concerns and recommending areas that I may want to repair or upgrade in the future. He took pictures of everything, added his notes and produced a PDF document that I refer to often (my house is 80 years old, overall in great shape, but there are always projects to be done).

This is the company to hire for home inspections. Fred and the gentleman with him (can’t recall name) are top-notch pros with much experience and good understanding of how all the components of a Home operated. Started with truly listening to my list of concerns then performed a full inspection of the house. He provides pictures using an iPad that you receive after. He noticed some really minor defects and had pictures. After his inspection, he explained every issue and gave his well-educated opinion of the seriousness. He was very patient with my novice questions and provided explanation until I understood. The pictures and caption of mattrs requiring immediate attention are flagged. If he deemed a noticed imperfection non-consequential, he explained why . I especially liked that he broke down current non-issues but those that likely will be in the future with estimated time. This is so you can budget properly for maintenance . He emails a full copy of the inspection with pictures immediately and was even nice enough to answer more questions I had a couple days after. I HIGHLY recommend if you want a thorough inspection and who wouldn’t ?

Paul, was very professional, very through and detail oriented. He went through the home with a fine tooth comb. Every question I asked he answered completely. He also explained what needs to be fixed and made suggestion on how to approach having the items fixed.

Fred missed way to many things despite us asking him to check items and pointing things out to him that were glaringly obvious to us. He laughed them off and insisted there were no problems. Items he missed have cost us a lot of time and money not to mention stress and discomfort, and we are not even close to being done. Very unprofessional and the follow up was disgraceful taking 5 weeks to reply to every email for months and not returning phone calls even after promising to fix items he missed. Some items like washer and dryer not working are understandable but structural issues, air conditioning and long term animal infestations are not. He just hoped we would get tired of calling him and go away. We want to let people who are trying to avoid problems by using a thorough inspector know This is the wrong company to use. Here is just some of what he missed. - Multi year bat infestation - Leaking widows in the basement wet the carpets constantly - Ant infestation that took over 4 months to fix - outside air handler broken - Two air condensation pumps were broken causing huge water leaks - furnace did not work - Two gas fireplace have never worked because the fans in both are broken (revealed from 2 other inspections) - electrics on the thermostat did not work - oven did not work - microwave did not work - garbage disposal did not work - Kitchen faucet leaked - doorbell did not work - Multiple faucets in the basement did not work - Upstairs shower did not work and the shower was not even sealed - All of the window seals have to be replaced - gutters and chimneys are homes to many birds Fred promised he would send people out to fix things but he did not for 2 months and when they came it was just to look around. He never got back to us about fixing things and we have written and called asking for him to make good on his promises for over 6 months. Now we realize he is just a terrible inspector and not even willing to take responsibility for his failings. He just gets by on very basic inspections and telling jokes. If you want a superficial inspection he would be perfect, but if you want an accurate inspection Stay Away! Other dissatisfied customers I have spoken to have said “Do not get involved with them. Fred Reid and his people should be stripped of their license”. I wish I had found their actual reviews before I hired Fred so I hope my review will save you lots of pain and heartache.
