Description of Work: They first put in a new water heater. They came promptly, took out the old heater, and put in the new heater and left the areaimpeccably clean. They were punctual, polite and incredibly efficient. I was so impressed that I asked the Companyand Ernie to come back and install two new toilets which I purchased from them. Again Ernie and friend did an absolutely impeccable job. I didn't know it was possible in these days of low flow toilets to not use a plunger almost every day. The toilets I purchased work like a dream and again, it was done in a highly professional, efficient manner with nothing left for me to do. I would and will use this company again and recommend them without reservation or hesitation.

Description of Work: We had Service Works out to our home , using a special coupon from Angies List. The tech needed to recharge the refrigerant. The problem was that he was working way to hard trying to sell us a Maintenance agreement. During that process he quoted us an estimate of $165. The bill came to *$210 We also had a bit of a language problem with the tech. We did charge the $210 on a credit card. The next day we explained what had happened to the Service Works owner. Among other issues, he explained that the tech should have given us a written estimate and gotten our initials on it. Because of the mix up the owner will bill our charge card for $162. Alls well that ends well. Still think the $210 price is high but who knows anymore.

Description of Work: After realizing that the AC was not working in our house last week, I called several companies from Angie's List to come and inspect our heat pump (original unit, installed in 1983). Service Works said that they could come that evening, but that it might be as late as 10:00. I asked them to come, since we have a newborn baby who was awake and crying because of the heat. I really appreciated the fact that these guys (DJ and Jeff) were willing to add one more service call to the end of a long day to help us out. They found that the compressor was dead, and told me that unfortunately I would have to get a new heat pump. (I had been told that the unit was on its last legs by the home inspector three years earlier and by a repairman two years ago, so I knew that the info was legit.) They were able to schedule an installation just a few days later, and DJ and Jeff installed a much more efficient unit for a very reasonable price. (I called around and got a half a dozen estimates, and the Service Works price was the lowest for the unit I got-- 2.5 ton Payne heat pump, SEER rating: 15.)
