Cleaning and inspection went well. Inspection led to costly repair

It went great. He did a great job and it was completed quickly.

The unit is in and works great. However, they did not do a design up front. They did not seem to understand how to do the job and figured it out while they were there. They took measurements and pictures and had a full understanding of the job before hand. They did bait and switched on the drywall, charging an additional 550.00 for the drywall which drove the cost up on par with other estimates received. They basically low balled on the front end and then charged additional on the back end. I would not use this service again in the future, not enough transparency and experienced what felt like intentional mis-representation.

They were terrific. It was $2000 less than anyone else wanted to charge us for the same equipment. It was a spring special that they had on Angie's List and actually it was over but they honored it anyway because it had not been taken off. Their pricing was fabulous. We were having difficulty with a light switch in the garage and they went ahead and fixed that for us with no charge. They were just very helpful and very efficient. They were in and out in a timely fashion. They cleaned up after themselves. We have had no problems with the system.

Walter called me at 08:15 and stated that he would be at my home at 09:00. This was great, right on time. I went to drop my kids off at school and on my way home I got a call from Walter stating that he was at my house at 08:45. I arrived at 08:46. Walter came into my home and began discussing what he and his partner who was not there yet were going to do. Walter then looked at my plumbing and stated that I should get a longer discharge line hose and run it from my dishwasher to my disposal routing it high up in the sink cabinet and then to make a loop in the hose and that should fix the problem. He never touched the plumbing. He stated that if this does not fix it then it is the dishwasher that is the issue. since it was still before 0900, I asked Walter if he would look at my bathroom sink that was not draining. He recommended he put one of the small snakes into it to see if he could clear the blockage. When using his power drill hooked up to the snake line, his drill battery died and since I had my drill close by he used mine to finish the job. Line was quickly cleared. At 09:22 Walter began writing up my ticket and initially stated that it would be $125 or something like that for the hour and then a $75 travel fee. I told him that he has only been here for 36 minutes and he told me it would cost $150. so much for up front pricing.

They came right out. It turned out great! It took about 2 hours to install it. There were no additional fees associated with the deal.

The service was provided by two employees, polite and professional. They explained me all the process of changing the water heater tank and did it in 3 hours (they said to me it would take up to 4 hours). Everything was perfect without incidents. I highly recommend the company and already did it to a friend who needs to change her water heater tank as well. And they also fixed some pipes which were with corrosion and charged me $50.00 for it.

I had them to come in and do a preventative checkup on my A/C. I can't think of any reason why they were not fantastic! They're great at coming on my schedule.

They arrived on time, were incredibly professional and courteous. They explained every step of the process, and went over items which needed to be done to bring the system up to code. The prices for all of these services were incredibly fair, and the work was done early. When they left, the cleanup was like they were never there. Probably the best service I've gotten off of Angies List.

My entire experience with Service Woks was seamless and professional. I called on a Monday afternoon and talked to Rich. I had my installation scheduled for early the next morning. They had exactly what I asked for in a 75 gal gas hot water heater. They had a special Angie's member price which was posted online and honored with me from the start. The install crew was scheduled to arrive between 8-9am which was a very reasonable window. Carlos was the team lead and called me to say they were on their way (this size water heater is definitely a two person job to haul it into a home, down stairs, pull the old unit out and connect/install new one. They arrived before 9am (thank you for doing what you committed to doing). Rich told me this would be a 3-4 hr job. The team was finished in 2.5 hrs. Carlos was very professional and kept it moving right along. They installed cloth tarps over all hardwood and carpeted flooring from door into my basement......good post work clean up as well. No problems at all. Team was great. I was happy with their service, the product, and the price. Thank you Rich and Carlos

It turned out awesome. They were honest and professional. John, the technician who came out, was clean, courteous and very quick. I would do business with him again.

The provider came to my home and provided an overall estimate of the state of my home's plumbing. The technician also provided a quote to fix some of my plumbing quirks. The estimate was reasonable and the visit was good overall.

Initially had an issue with the contractor who first came to do the "walkthrough". I found him to be a little arrogant and off-putting. After explaining what we were doing (thankfully with my husband's familiarity with the industry) he understood and stopped the questioning. They came back (different team) on the scheduled day and did a GREAT job. We had to pay a little more than the deal since we upgraded the size of the water heater, but it was installed seamlessly. They were professional, very careful not to track in dirt or debris, and left the space in great shape. I recommend them.

A very good experience from beginning to end. I purchased the "big deal" - 75-gallon Bradford White water heater, installation, and removal of old unit. I received a return call quickly, and the reps who installed the water heater were knowledgeable and courteous. The water heater is working perfectly -- we're pleased!

Another provider came to my home, said there was a cracked manifold in my furnace with gas leaking, said I needed a new furnace, and cut off the gas/heat! Service Works came over, showed there was no leak, and said the furnace should last another 5 years. Lifesavers!

Thursday night I realized that my home hot water heater was leaking and I purchased a deal with Service Works for a 75 gallon heater. Friday morning I called at 8 am and Leslie through pictures she requested of my water heater, quickly discovered that I had purchased a 75 when I needed a 50 gallon. Leslie gave me my options and once I decided on the 50 gallon, she refunded the money I had paid and gave me a deal on the 50 gallon. Once Leslie knew that I have an elderly parent in the home,she did everything she could to fit me into their schedule for Friday. Leslie also gave me the quotes of some additional items I might need with the installation. Leslie was friendly, helpful and understanding throughout this process that frankly did not take too much time. John, the technician, arrived 2 hours earlier than scheduled (unheard of). John took the initiative to explain to me several things about the work and answer my questions. He was joined later by Jose and both cleaned up the work area. The work order was readable ( a first for me), and the work perfectly described. I am elated by the friendly, personal service that I received from Leslie and professional work by John. I will be using their services again. THANK YOU!!

They did a fantastic job! They were very efficient and the price was the most competitive I found. they actually offered me a bigger unit for a cheaper price than anyone else.

I was happy with Service Works - I purchased a deal from Angie's list to install a brand new Bradford White water heater for $950. They were able to schedule me in for an appointment within 3 business days. The installation went smoothly, there were no hidden costs. The only additional cost charged was a $75 charge to replace my old valve feeding into the water heater which I felt was a reasonable thing to do. The new water heater works great so far and it is covered by a 1 year service warranty from Service Works. Would recommend them!

We had gotten a quote for 1200 apparently about a year ago from this company. I didn't realize they had actually been out to our house before.. It was not in the cards at that time.. I called again now when i saw the 950 special they were having for angies list water heater and install.. I was told because of my connection issues (going back to tank heater from tankless) it would be 1200. (no discount for me apparently) Within 5 minutes on the phone the tech calls me on phone and says that the "cost of equipment had gone up" since the last time we got a quote. So price for next day install was now $ 1400 ! Talk about Stock Market pricing on water heaters!! lol a 200 dollar increase in 5 minutes?? imagine what would happen in 10 minutes... clearly an issue of Bait and Switch pricing... stay away from any vendors who try to con with sketchy "fluctuating sale prices like that!

I was a little suspicious but for the price, decided to give them a try. It turned out to be one of the most pleasant experience I had with contractors._x000D_|- scheduling was easy, they offered to come the day after X'mas while I am still off from work_x000D_|- two guys showed up on time and followed my direction to haul the tank into the basement. Used drop clothe during entire process and left no trace of dirt - I have OCD to cleanliness, this surprised me_x000D_|- paid extra $255 to cover a base pan, and to replace 4 pipes going into the tank. The old pipe had minor leaks and old valves._x000D_|- repositioned a ventilation duct, with no extra charge_x000D_|

They were fine. They had to cut a hole in my ceiling to get to the leak. They had told me that they were going to have to it and they also told me that they do not do dry wall. They did the job that I asked them to do. They were out here within a week. It did cost more than the $29.99 big deal. I knew it was going to cost more. It was a good value for what I got. I do not think that I would use them again.

When I was checking on service providers for winter tune up, Service Works was most prompt in responding. Their technician came to our home at the appointed time. He checked everything, replaced the air filter, and also explained how we could fine tune the airflow to different parts of our home. Over all, we were very satisfied and will use their service again.
