Scheduled Just Aeration to aerate, overseed and fertilize. Did the job very professionally and I am very happy with the results. I dethatched the lawn before they came for the services above. 14 days after service was performed, I had a very nice lush green healthy lawn again. You have to follow the recommendations they provide you as far as watering requirements; otherwise you won't get good results.

I saw a special for $149 (by Just Aeration, LLC) in one of my Angie's List Big Deal emails. I chose a date from a list of available dates. After rescheduling twice due to circumstances beyond the provider's control (weather and breakdown of truck), the crew of 2 arrived on October 5, 2014. A crew member came to my door to let me know that they were about to start the service and also came to my door at completion and we were given general lawn care instructions. We were pleasantly surprised to see that fertilizer was applied after they overseeded. I don't know if the application of fertilizer was left out in the advertised special or if the crew mistakenly applied it. In any case, we're happy! The communication was excellent between me and Just Aeration, LLC. Communication was via Angie's List messages. My emails were answered immediately. I would definitely call upon Just Aeration, LLC again. Highly recommended.

I scheduled the appointment with Patrick and was hoping he could come for the appointment as well. The men showed up in the evening when the appointment was in the morning. Luckily I was at home working on other projects. They were pleasant to deal with and very responsive to questions. I did add the fertilizer treatment for $25. However it was mentioned as $30 on the paperwork. A call to Patrick solved the issue and I paid them via a separate check. The person waited for me while I searched for the check book an though it took me a little longer he was patient and courteous still. Will definitely hire them again.

Purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for $149.00 core aeration and over-seeding, and added the $30.00 starter fertilizer to the package. Just Aeration responded to my Big Deal purchase that evening (9/24/2014) and scheduled me for 10/2/2014 - instructing me to mow my lawn below 3" and mark all sprinkler heads and drains before the service. The day of the service, Patrick Henry arrived alone (he said his guys' truck broke down so he was out alone that day), and got immediately to work - I was home and didn't even know he was at work until I looked out the window and saw his truck! Patrick was efficient and very productive, completing the core aeration, roto-tilling (of small bare spots), over-seeding and fertilizing in a little under 1.5 hours, despite the many planting beds and other obstructions (e.g., transformer, cable pedestal) he had to work around. Patrick was pleasant, respectful, and informative about post-service lawn care - I'm already looking forward to a healthier lawn (writing this the day of the service)! I paid the $30 starter fertilizer charge via credit card, gave him my email, and he swiped my card and emailed me a CC receipt on the spot. He also offered to send me an estimate for their 6x-yearly lawn maintenance service, and I will be seriously considering that too.

They were unable to provide the work.

Overall had a great experience with this provider. We bought the deal and they completed their service within 1 week of the purchase. I had some concerns that we may have accidentally directed them not to apply lawn seed (because wasn't any seed visible in lawn, on walkways, or in the places you would expect seed to gather that wouldn't necessarily get cleaned up by their crew). The owner took my concern seriously and quickly came to apply a seed to the lawn with minimal hassle. Great provider. Hope they will give me the service estimate I requested for lawn maintenance services so that they can compete for work with other providers. Its been 5 days since I asked for the estimate and I have not received anything to date.

Patrick was very responsive and provided great tips on how to treat and take care of the lawn. He did not hesitate to answer any of my questions. The aerating/overseeding/fertilizing of my lawn was done with great care and they cleaned up debris afterward. I would definitely contact Patrick again for future work on my lawn.

Patrick and his team are excellent. Communication is always great with advance calendar reminders of upcoming service from Patrick. They come out every 2 weeks to cut my grass and perform weed control treatment and other necessary maintenance our lawn needs. Work is always professional, clean and timely. I couldn't be happier with the service and our lawn. Highly recommended.

I don?t even know where to begin! My lawn was horrible?full of low spots,weeds, dead patches, and lots of moss. Patrick came out to look at it and give me a quote. He was on time and very professional. I know nothing about lawn care and he took the time to explain everything to me and what exactly my lawn was going to need. Anytime I emailed him with a question, he was very prompt in replying. We worked out a time to start and he and his crew arrived on time and got busy. It was a HUGE undertaking, at least in my eyes. He does this for a living and I?m sure it?s just another day for him, but I was amazed at the work that goes into what he does. They had to remove the moss, lime, put down new topsoil, seed, etc. He even came back later to put down several bales of hay, after warning me that it?s a lot of work to rake back up. He wasn?t kidding. Patrick came back a few weeks later to check on the progress. He was kind enough to do a good portion of raking for me, which made things so much easier for me. He checked in with me on several occasions to make sure things were going well and that I was keeping up my end of the deal by watering as he directed. His hard work definitely paid off! I know have an amazing green lawn, like I?ve never had before. It?s a lot more work then raising weeds and moss but so worth it. I couldn?t be happier with how my yard turned out.

Patrick aerated my lawn. Afterwards we discussed several things to improve the quality of my lawn, which was greatly appreciated. Based on my experience I would highly recommend this provider. Great overall experience.

Patrick was very responsive, quick to provide a quote and schedule the work. He was also very knowledgeable about the type of mulch we should have compared to what we'd been getting previously, including the pros and cons to the different types and provided a high quality product. They were prompt, professional, and did a beautiful job. They were careful of all of the plantings when spreading the mulch and cleaned up everything really well afterwards, you'd hardly know there were there except for the stunning way our beds looked after being crisply redefined and filled with fresh new mulch.

Patrick and his team power raked my yard, aerated, seeded and top dress the lawn. Due to damage from the funjus the seeding did take a initially. Patrick, on initiative and expense, returned several more times ensuring that the returned to a solid state of repair. Highly recommend his services.

We love Just Aeration, LLC. They did a wonderful job. They come on a seasonal basis. They're wonderful about communicating. They email their planned schedule of when they're going to be out working on our lawn. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. We don't have any complaints about them at all.

Patrick is more than willing to return and provide retreatment to better improve our lawn. Thorough, timely and aims to please!

Patrick showed up on time with a helper and aerated the yard. They then overseeded and spread fertilizer. Overall the process took a little over an hour or so. He noticed some grubs, showed me, and recommended I apply milky spore for control. After the overseeding they ran a leaf blower to clear debris off the walkways and driveway. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and gave great advice on the status of the yard, future treatments, etc. He offered an estimate on other year-round services, but was not pushy, just very matter-of-fact. A month later the grasses have filled in nicely on the bare spots and clover/crab grass areas. Our back and side yard are usable again! Overall we were very pleased with Just Aeration and would definitely hire them again.

He has done a good job considering all the Sandy damage in front, and the concrete-like clay substrate in back. The back had been re-sodded and over seeded/top dressed a couple of times by others, but nothing would survive without totally breaking up the clay barrier to allow roots to reach down. I am confident by next spring we will actually have grass that can survive the usual July heat and no-rain in August that is typical of Northern Virginia summers.

Job went off without a hitch. The gentleman who performed the work were professional and quick. Great work for a great price.

Was prompt as promised. Not only did the job but is coming back to re-do a part that was particularly troublesome (without asking to do so). Also gave me tips on the lawn care my lawn needed. I am very pleased with their professionalism, courtesy and customer service.

Everything about his visit was great! I submitted a request and had a quote within hours. Emailed back and forth a couple times and was able to pay online and scheduled service right away. I was able to meet Patrick and his coworker, they are nice, educated about lawns (taught me a couple things about my lawn), very friendly and well spoken. I'll be using him again in the future. His pricing and quick response make working with him very easy!

We hired Patrick to do lime, fertilize, topsoil, aerate, and seed our lawn. He was very professional, on time and did a great job! I would highly recommend him!

I found Just Aeration through a flier stuck in my door. I had talked to other services and added them to my list to see if they were were in my price range. I was impressed with Mr Patrick Henry, who not only came by my house (on time) and went over their services in detail. After agreeing on a price with discounts we agreed upon a date for them to start. As my yard is not that large, Mr Henry was able to complete the bulk of the work in one day. As noted above, the grass has already started to sprout. The real test will be in the spring when the grass sprouts. Just Aeration guarantees their work and has agreed to reseed in the spring if there is a problem. Overall, we were very satisfied with the company and the work they performed. Bill and Judy Lillard
