Description of Work: We have used Dad's Tree Service for many years, and are very happy with their service. |This time they removed a large dead oak tree and pruned and cleared deadwood out of numerous other trees on our property. They did a great job and were particularly meticulous about cleaning up afterward.

Description of Work: Dad's removed a 40 year old ash tree from our back yard. They did the work while I was away and an invoice in my door and the absence of the tree were the only signs that they had been there.

Description of Work: Dad's took down one trunk of a split-trunk tree near the back of my house. They also trimmed a considerable number of rotted branches from a very tall Silver Maple in my front yard, also near my house and a handful of branches of a third tree. They arrived right on time and cleaned up beautifully. I was very pleased.

The commenting member selected a different company for the job. At Dad’s Tree Service our goal is excellent customer service, and terrific tree care performed by a professional, established crew. We have fair & honest pricing (no bait-and switch), clean tools and properly maintained equipment; we adhere to proper standards & techniques for our work. We are licensed and fully insured. Our clientele has been built over the 21 years we've been in business, and are primarily homeowners with whom we work over the years to maintain the health and vitality of their trees. We value our clients, new and old. And again, our estimates are provided for free. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Description of Work: I had a very tall Oak tree cut down and two others pruned out. They did a very good job in choosing branches to cut out and did not do a wak job. I was very pleased and would ask them back again for future work.

It all went great.
Description of Work: Dad's Tree Service removed two large trees for us as well as a smaller one and a spur (tall, large trunk). All of the stumps were ground down, ready for us to plant grass. They also trimmed all of our numerous other large trees. We found their service to be extremely professional. They were timely and thorough and cleaned up completely. I thought they performed a lot of work for us a very reasonable price. I will quickly turn to Dad's Tree Service for anything related to my trees.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate on having the top of a tree removed. Ron would not provide an estimate. He made several comments about how we had work already performed on trees. He was rude and left without providing an estimate. We will not work with this company again. If you call, make sure he will give you an estimate. Otherwise, he is waisting your time.

I HAVE NEVER MET THIS MEMBER. I DID MEET WITH HER HUSBAND, TO LOOK AT HIS TREES. WHEN A HOMEOWNER PREFERS TO MEET WITH ME, I AM HAPPY TO COME BY WITHIN THE GENERAL DAYS/TIMES SPECIFIED BY THE HOMEOWNER AS BEING CONVENIENT. THIS WAY, WE DO NOT TROUBLE OUR CLIENTS WITH WAITING. THE ESTIMATES ARE FREE. THE MEMBER'S HUSBAND CALLED ON MONDAY, 2/16/09, AND WAS ONLY AVAILABLE THAT DAY, OR MUCH LATER IN THE WEEK. ALTHOUGH HIS HOME WAS NOT ALONG MY PLANNED ROUTE, I ACCOMMODATED HIS REQUEST TO MEET ON THAT DAY, DUE TO HIS LIMITED AVAILABILITY TO GET TOGETHER WITH ME. I MET THE HUSBAND. HE BEGAN TO DESCRIBE THE WORK HE WANTED DONE. I ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT SOME TREE WORK THAT HAD RECENTLY BEEN PERFORMED ON THE PROPERTY. HE DID NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY; I THOUGHT THAT HE MAY NOT HAVE HEARD ME. AS THE CONVERSATION PROCEEDED, I ASKED HIM ONCE MORE ABOUT THE FRESH WORK (IT IS A PERTINENT PIECE OF INFORMATION). THE HUSBAND’S RESPONSE TO MY QUESTION MADE IT CLEAR THAT WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ENJOY A CONGENIAL, PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP. HE CONCLUDED HIS HEATED REMARKS WITH THE STATEMENT, “IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED, JUST SAY SO!” I TOOK HIM UP ON HIS SUGGESTION, AND DID NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. I THEN WISHED HIM A GOOD DAY, AND LEFT.
