It want fine. But we didn't go with this company.

After several calls, I finally got a call back. They scheduled a day and time to come by to give me an estimate and then never showed.

After obtaining several estimates, we chose Mills Roofing to replace the shingles on our home for two reasons. First, the estimate was less than those provided by the larger companies; and secondly, we found Mike (the estimator) and Kenny (the crew supervisor) to be responsive and helpful. The material was delivered and the work performed as scheduled. Kenny, the crew supervisor, remained at our home the entire time that the work was being performed. There was one small issue involving the drip edge that we noticed after the crew had left the site. However, after reporting the concern, Kenny returned the next day and took care of the problem. Overall, we were very pleased with all aspects of dealing with Mills Roofing and with the final outcome of the work.

I contacted them via email on Angie's List, they responded and came out on time to take a look and give us a quote. The representative from the company asked some questions and stated he would get back with us by the end of the week with a quote. I have not heard back from them since.

This company and the people are exceptional. They worked 15 hour days and did beautiful work. This is a family owned and operated business, and they did a fantastic job. Personal and friendly service, incredible work ethic and fantastic results!

It could not have gone more perfectly. The team arrived early and went to work; had the old roof off in about an hour. The owner was on site supervising most of the day. They even did work we had not originally contracted for at no additional cost, basically because it needed doing, and advised us not to add a sun tunnel because given our situation it would not work well. They cleaned up meticulously. We could not be happier and would recommend Mills Roofing to anyone.

It went great! We trusted Mike and his crew enough to come back and replace the entire roof, since it was clear that the roof needed major rework. Over the last six months we have interacted with four different NoVA roofing companies and Mills Roofing had the most competitive pricing while also exceeding the level of quality, service, and professionalism we expected out of our roofers.

Representative showed up on time and did fixes as requested and advertised. Leaks have not returned since repairs were made and received an estimate on repair or replacement of roof within 4 days of the initial temporary fixes.

The replacement went well. Cleanup was thorough. I have a one warranty. Since the installation it has snowed and rained. There is no visibility of any leakage. I am pleased with my experience with Mill Roofing.

These guys are simply great. First Mike came out and went over the entire process and provided an estimate. Showed me the differences between shingles and gave me a choice on colors etc. From estimate, to material delivery, to installation, the team was great to work with. Onsite supervisor never left the job, they explained issues found and how they would be addressed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have Roof work done. By the way, the clean up was excellent and they took care of our property. Simply a first rate organization.

I purchased the "big deal" package for $5500.00. Our home is a 2+ story colonial at the top of a very steep driveway with a 10/12 pitch roof so I knew when I ordered it my roof was going to exceed the $5,500 price-point. The Mills roofing crew came to inspect the job within a week of receiving the order. After measuring my roof they broke down the additional charges for me item by item, and we agreed an additional $1300 would cover the cost of additional shingles, including labor and materials for a skylight, roofing a sunroom attachment and bay-window. The job was scheduled two weeks later and completed within two days. The materials were top quality and the installation was very well done right down to the final clean up. The crew was very professional and worked together well- definitely not a day-labor/pick-up work-force. It rained the night after the installation was finished and I was gratified to see the roof works as well as it looks. I am very pleased with the value and execution of this job and would not hesitate to recommend Mills Roofing to anyone considering a new roof.

Kenneth Mills supervised the entire job and his crew did a fantastic job. The entire roof was taken off, several sheets of plywood replaced, and new shingles, flashing, and vent boots installed. They also installed three new vent hoods, replaced two old attic fans, and replaced and painted rotten fascia boards. The work was professional and quickly done. It was a pleasure working with the entire crew.

100% Satisfaction. Very professional and courteous from estimate to install to cleanup. They also were a better estimate than competitors and I believe they use a superior product. Definitely give them a call if you need repairs or replacement.

It was okay. I think the deal said something like, "A value of $249 worth of roof inspection and minor service for $99." I knew that I needed what I thought was minor service and that's why I bought the coupon. But the guy just went up on the roof and said, "Oh, you need a new roof. We'll be able to do that for you for $6000 or so." I thought, "Well, I could have called anybody and gotten a free roof estimate. I didn't need to pay for it. So I said, "While you're up there, since that thing said minor service, what is your minor service?" I told them that there were a couple of roof tiles that needed to be replaced because a tree had scrubbed on them. I told them that at least twice before they came out. They said, "Oh well, since the whole roof really needed to be replaced anyway there was no real point in making that minor service." So, I don't know. You can get a roof estimate from any roofer for free because they're looking at a $5000 to $7000 job. So, I can't say I was happy. I didn't pay anything besides the $99.

Did a great job and clean up after, and in one day. There was snow on the ground so they came back a week later to make sure they got all the roofing nails, etc. that dropped to the ground. They were very professional and kept in contact throughout the job. I was so pleased I have already hired them for another job: replacing patio door, installing doggie door and kitchen window. I know they will do a good job.

The process went very well. I was contacted right away once I requested an estimate and they were out promptly to give the estimate and explain all our roofing options. They left samples for us to be able to take our time to decide. They were friendly, professional and punctual. They offer both Veterans and Senior discounts and are a family run business. Once we selected them to do the work, they arrived as scheduled and completed the work promptly, with great workmanship and within the price range given on the estimate. There were quite a few of the clear plastic strips from the shingles left around on the ground and I found a few nails that they had missed. HOWEVER, in their defense....there was snow on the ground, which would have made the little clear strips pretty darned hard to see and it was very wet, which may have interfered with their magnetic nail sweep. We were very pleased with their work and appreciate the hard work they did on a cold winter's day and we love the look of our new roof. We would recommend them without reservation.

The company did well to schedule the inspection based on weather conditions. The follow up did not go as expected. I didn't hear back from the inspector nor did I initially receive any written or verbal report on how it went.

They were fine. He was a very nice gentleman. He was just a really nice young man. I assume that it was a pretty good deal. He told me what he did.

Mill Roofing was professional, courteous and responsive from first contact. They were very informative to my husband and I as we know nothing about roofing or having to replace a roof (this was a first for us). They explained the process in detail, were patient as we researched and collected quotes from other companies. They came recommended to us, so even though they weren't the lowest quote we received, we still wanted to use them. They lowered their price to ALMOST match our lowest quote. The only reason I rated their price a B was because of the credit card fee they pass on from their credit card payment provider (PayPal). The fee passed on is 3.5% which is a pretty large percentage for a credit card fee, IMO. One of the best things about Mills was their clean up. The job took about 2 1/2 days from start to finish, and I was not home at all when they were working. When I got home after they had completed the job, it was like they had never been there in the first place (other than my brand new beautiful roof, of course). I appreciate the time and care they took to clean up after themselves and put our belongings back in place when they left (kids bikes, toys, etc).

I needed to repair and replace a roof, remove a chimney and roof vent, and install new ridge vents. I was met on the job site by the advance-team who were professional and on-time. They gave me a true estimation of the scope of work and the time it would take to complete the job. Even though I had lower estimates from some of their competitors, I decided to allow them to do the work because of the honest and sincere way they explained everything in detail. They were extremely helpful to offer suggestions on how to improve the quality of the work. I never felt as if they were trying to up-sell me on things I didn't need. I highly recommend this company and can sincerely vouch for their professionalism, attention-to-detail, and awesome customer service!

Work was performed as discussed. Worked stated and completed as described. All work was done in a professional manner. Workers arrived punctually everyday and were veray polite. Pleasure to work with.

We could not be happier with the results. Melvin Mills and his crew are thoroughly professional. They showed up at the crack of dawn every day and worked until dark. They always left the place looking immaculate. We will definitely recommend Melvin Mills to anybody who needs a new roof.

I spent about $1000 on that service. Their price was reasonable and they were very professional. They cleaned up everything and just did a really good job and it was all as I expected. My wife actually dealt with them and she was very pleased. The work was done on time.

I got 4 quotes for this project and Melvin from Mills Roofing came in with the lowest estimate. I was very happy with the results. They removed the old, damaged rubber roofing material and replaced it with a metal roof. I was especially concerned about how the roofing material would tie into the 200-year-old brick side of the house, but they did a great job and tied it in to the mortar neatly, without damaging the brick. We then had a mason who specializes in sand and lime mortar come and fill in the mortar seam. I found this company to be very professional and they finished the job quickly - no complaints whatsoever.
