Description of Work: Fix capacitor and clean out outside air conditioning unit.

Description of Work: Checked vents upstairs. Charged hvac. Recommended additional returns. The woman that answers their phone demonstrates exceptional customer service. The service tech was pleasant & seemed knowledgeable. But over $300 for the minimal work done seemed a little high to me.

Description of Work: New AC/heat pump installed. They were quick and the price was the best quote we received from 4 companies.

Description of Work: After requesting quotes from several HVAC contractors on a Trane XL16i Heat pump with a variable speed air handler we decided to go with Garnett. Andrew provided us with cheap and easy fixes for existing air flow issues (fixing undersized duct work, adding a manual baffle, foaming around the vents from the attic, etc) that no one else pointed out. They also quoted a nicer air handler that jumped the SEER up another point to 17. The price was well within the range we were getting from everyone and included these additional items. The crew showed up on time, answered all my questions, cleaned up after they left, and looked at my existing crawlspace unit to give some recommendations to make it last until I can afford to replace it. | |After the install I had a couple issues with temperature readings throughout the house and they sent someone out each time asap. They moved the thermostat and replaced it and still couldn't get it right, but kept trying. Turns out Trane calibrated the units poorly and they were almost 4 degrees off due to the heat created by the touch screen and Nexia wireless bridge. After almost two weeks I purchased a thermometer off amazon and got the house really close (~1 deg) by manually calibrating the thermostat down 4 degrees. Then Trane pushed an update to the system of the network and all of the sudden I was 4 degrees warmer. Garnett was answering questions and trying different things to get it right the entire time. I appreciated the extra effort they put in to make it right and will use them next time as well.

Description of Work: Replaced AC units which included new duct work, larger return air grille and sealing registers. They were professional, courteous and punctual. I received other bids and prices were comparable they were just a few dollars less. I felt comfortable with them as they had serviced the old units for years.

Description of Work: Had HVAC system replaced. Garnett was the most expensive but were very thorough in conducting the estimate. Of four estimates Garnett was the only one to indicate we needed a county inspection. It made me wonder that if others did not know this important fact, what else did they not know. I was pleased with Garnett. |

Description of Work: AC went out, the had some over within a few hours and fixed the issue. | |They came in and replaced the air handler and while the were not the cheapest quote the were the most professional, gave us several options, explained every step and out the we're doing...the crew came when the said, installed and took away the old system and cleaned up including the smallest pieces of wires and shavings. Top notch A++

Description of Work: Our AC was not working. The tech said we needed some new parts which he ordered. We were very impressed with the tech because he told us that all the screws on the panel box including all hot wires needed to be tightened about every two years. He said the loose screws can cause problems on power surges. It turned out to be our problem with losing satellite reception. He said it could have been our problem with our hot water heater wire burning. Also the refrigerator wire burning. Nobody else had mentioned this.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate (one of six estimates received) on a new HVAC system for my house. They were the lowest bidder (which isn't always good), but in my case I was happy with the quote. The work was performed promptly and professionally.They had to be called back for a minor adjustment and they showed up within an hour. I would recommend they and would use them again.
