I solicited other companies quotes using the estimate provided by the first company and all declined stating I needed to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to take measurements, etc. Our inside temperature was 98 degrees. Advanced Environment Solutions provided us an unbinding estimate of $9,600. a better warranty and immediately dispatched a technician to take measurements and install a portable AC unit until the new one could be installed. Our unit was installed Friday. What a bunch of professionals! The team arrived at 6:30 am and were done by 11:00 am. To our surprise, we received a fruit basket from Advanced Enviroment Solutions the following day thanking us for selecting them! Who does is anymore? Hey competitors... "Excellent. Soil only went down 8 inches before hitting rock. They were able to break it up and get me 2 feet of soil down before hitting rock. They took care of hauling away the huge rocks and filled up hole with dirt and top layer of soil, seed, and straw. They did this for half my front yard where I needed more soil depth to plant large tree and also keep grass alive. They were upfront about everything and did a great job. They got it all done in 2 days. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Wilson and his crew."

He replies promptly, gets all the details, and then once he gets my email no further contact. It feels like there's something personal here, or maybe he quoted too low for the project, but in any case I literally cannot imagine a less professional way of handling this whole situation. My guess is that he showed up to the job to scope it out, then went to find a couple day laborers to actually do the work. Maybe he couldn't find any, maybe he realized that this job was too big. In either case, just say so. Jesus."
