They just took down my messages and didn't send out anybody to do an estimate. It seems they have lost couple of estimators and everytime I called they said we will get back to you since you are in queue. Finally, I spoke to the owner Dan 2 weeks ago, and he regretted that nobody contacted me. That's it. After that, I haven't heard anything from them.

Overall everything was excellent. There were a couple schedule changes due to scheduling issues/ weather, but nothing that was a major issue, and they were very good about notifying me of any changes in advance. The quality of the work was great and the timliness and efficiency of the installation crew was very good. The one complaint I would have is their cleanliness. They had to cut down a significant amout of brush to access part of the fence. While they hauled away a lot of the debris, they also shoved a good portion of it under another bush to and quot;hide itand quot;. Likewise, when they removed the old chain link fence, they left a lot of pieces of the metal that they cut around the yard - with two small children and a dog, I wish there wasnt so much sharp metal left around the job site. All of that being said, everyone was very considerate and easy to work with, the quality of the work was top rate, and the pricing was significantly better than most of the other firms in the area. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

We could not have asked for better service from Jason Weatherholtz. He responded promptly to all email and telephone correspondence, made several trips to our home to ensure the quality of the work, and was a pleasure to do business with. Jason certainly made functionality a priority but was also interested in the aesthetic impact of our project. One of the best aspects of working with Jason was his willingness to advise and work together on artistic decisions. He also did an excellent job of managing his crew when questions came up. Amazing customer service and top quality workmanship!

They were responsive in getting the estimate to me, Once I sent in the deposit they came out within a week to complete the job, which they completed within a day. The fence looks great and I am happy with it so far. My major complaint with them is that they damaged the underground FIOS cable, which left me without TV, Internet and phone for 3 and a half days before a technician could come out to repaIr it. I brought it to their attention and to this day I have never received an apology. I had recommended them to a friend who ended up using them, and he pointed out that they needed to be careful digging as they had damaged my FIOS cable when they dug in my yard. They acknowledged to him that they had indeed done so, but never said anything to me. That sealed my decision to not use them for a future project. For me an apology goes a long way, and also acknowledging your mistakes to the client.

The estimate was professional and detailed. Was told their minimum job cost was $600 which was agreeable as their business operation and their sales/estimator person left me with confidence that the job would be done right with the expected results. Scheduling took some time but was and quot;on their boardand quot; in about two weeks with work completed a few days later taking about two hours with a crew of three. Crew worked well together and did a good professional job in rocky soil setting new posts and end posts nicely, needing two digging bars to extract some big rocks to get the needed depth. Only detracting remarks are that the crew left the wood chips/shavings from the chain saw cuts on neighbor's lawn which I quickly took care of with my lawn/leaf rake, and, crew showed up about 35 minutes outside of window of time (later) that was given by the office.

We live in a single family home. They put in a new cedar fence. Six foot cedar fence. They seem responsive, they came out very quickly to give us an estimate. They presented the options very well in terms of the different styles that we had on the fencing. Gave some suggestions in terms of the posts. We went for wood caps on the posts. They were able to start the work fairly quickly and over all they did a very good job in putting in the new fence.

We needed a Gothic style picket fence installed in our backyard, approx 215 sq ft of fence, and one gate installed. Jason Weatherholz came out for the estimate and gave options we didn't think about (that ended up saving us money!!). He was professional and we could tell he knew what he was doing. The proposal came back as the cheapest of the estimates and was on par regarding HOA regulations. On the day of the installation, a three man crew arrived and were all very professional. Lorenzo was the project manager for the day and made sure we were all on the same page for the installation. Jason came by to check to make sure everything was going smoothly. It ended up raining for a while, but the crew worked through the rain and got the fence installed in one day. It looks AMAZING!! We continue to get many compliments and hopefully are able to send more business to Loudoun Deck and Fence. I would definitely recommend this company. The fence is well constructed and looks great. We are VERY HAPPY with the service we received!!

It went great! The fence looks awesome, and is exactly what I asked for. It's almost 1 month after the install, and I'm still getting great comments from neighbors. The fence actually inspired me to plant a garden in the back and side yard, where only weeds existed before. I'm sure there will be some business coming to the company because of my fence. As far as getting the estimate goes, the first time (a year ago) I contacted them, Tim had provided me with the initial estimate. I decided at that time to go with them for the fence. However, I had some things come up, and I had to use the money I had saved for other things. I held onto the estimate, though, because I knew I would choose them for the fence eventually. By the time I was able to get the fence done, it was a year later and Tim was gone. Jason came into the picture, and he responded and provided another estimate I could use to get approval through the HOA. With this estimate, I had two different options. The first was what is typically allowed in my HOA for an end unit townhouse. The 2nd was for having the fence start closer to the front of home home, which would need special approval from the HOA. Jason gave me what I needed, and I personally went to the HOA meeting and was able to get the fence approved starting closer to the front of my home. That was Step 1. At that point, I had not met Jason and had only exchanged e-mails. He had come out to my home without me needing to be here. Once the HOA approved it and I had the money to install the fence, I called and Jason came out to meet me and walk around where the fence would be, as well as the location for the gate. Jason was extremely personable and friendly and listened to my concerns. He tried hard to find the property markers underground with a metal detector, but he couldnt' find them. He said it is rare that he can't find them. He tried for quite a while in the sweltering heat, but all we found were nails and other metal objects in the ground. Nevertheless, he used the plat to estimate where the fence would go. From there, he said there was one job that needed to be finished and then they could start mine. It could be the next day or the following. That was quick! I was able to get the fence installed 2 days later! It worked out great because I was taking vacation and would be available that day. The workers arrived on time as scheduled (maybe even a little early) and got to work right away. First, they put string up on wooden posts to outline where the fence would go and then got my approval. They had to adjust it a little because I have a big tree that was pretty close to the property line. They asked for my opinion on it, which impressed me. They worked non-stop and tirelessly. I couldn't believe they were able to get it done in less than a day! Before they left, they asked me what I thought, and I told them it was great! They also cleaned up everything before they left. As it turns out, I got a new cell phone the day the fence was installed and I didn't know in order to get voicemails, I had to set up a new voicemail (even though I still had my old phone number and cell phone company). I had no idea that I had to do this until a friend asked why I hadn't responded to her voicemail. It took me a week to realize I wasn't getting voicemails, and then I discovered I had about 10 voicemails. As it turns out, another person from Loudoun deck had called me twice after my fence was installed to see if I was satisfied. I called them back immediately when I got my voicemails, but it was a week later. I was impressed that they waited until they heard from me before charging me for the 2nd half of the fence. They truly want to be sure that you are a satisfied customer. MaryAnn at the office is awesome to work with, too. She's very friendly. All in all, I had a great experience! For those of you who have had trouble with communication with the company, just be patient and call MaryAnn at the office to have her follow up. If you want a good end result and a company who stands by their work, Loudoun Deck and Fence would be a good choice. I don't know if they'll actually come out a year later to check on the fence, but I'll update this review in a year and let you know. I also have some pictures of the fence if I can figure out how to post them here.

Loudoun Deck and Fence was awesome. Jason Weatherholz was easy to deal with, came on time, emailed back promptly, and knew exactly what I wanted. The work crew came on time and worked tirelessly. The finished product is beautiful and I get many complements on the fence as well as the arbor. I'm very pleased with the fence and the experience. They were not the cheapest bid that I got, but I was more than happy to spend the very little bit more to get great service. I felt like my end product would be exactly what I set out to achieve, and that was worth a few hundred bucks to me.

I submitted a request for an estimate 2.5 weeks ago via the company website form. Waited a little over a week without any contact. Called the office and left my information with someone there and was told that since it was Friday, someone would get back to me most likely on Monday, if not sooner. On Tuesday afternoon, I called the company again and left a message asking for follow up. Later that evening, I received an apologetic email and request for dates that someone could come give us an estimate. I replied immediately with our schedule and waited some more. Thursday night I received an email from the same person saying that they had scheduled us for an estimate on the following day but had forgotten to email us to confirm the date. I was a little frustrated by the late notification, but responded that yes, that would work. That brings us to today. Its raining and I knew there was a possibility that they might want to reschedule, but I didn't hear anything, so I waited at home for a total of 2.5hours after the appointment. I called my contact's cell phone when they didnt show, left a message and waited an hour. Then I called the company and asked if they knew where our service provider was. They said they would contact him to make sure he hadnt't lost track of time. 20 minutes later I received an email from that person saying that they had sent me an email that morning and wanted to reschedule with us because of the weather. We never received this supposed email. I don't have a problem that he wanted to reschedule, I have a problem that even if he did send the email, he never followed up with us when we didn't respond to let us know that he wasn't coming. Such poor response make me think that either the company is too busy to take new clients, or doesn't have a proper response plan for new clients. If they were too busy to take new clients, I would have been happy to know this up front instead of wasting my time. If this is simply human error, then they need to clean up their customer response process. I think we gave them more than the benefit of the doubt, but this has gotten ridiculous. We will be working with another company.

It went very well! Jason explained our options succinctly and with photos. On the day of the install, they arrived a little later than we were anticipating, but they were very good about communicating the delay. The team worked fast and cleanly, worked with us to come up with a solution for a tree in the middle of the fence line without bumping up the estimate, and even took out a smaller tree without charging us more for it! Despite arriving a little late, they had the whole install done in 6 hours from start to finish, and it looks terrific! There were a couple of bumps, but Jason assures us that he'll send someone out to fix the problem, and he was very responsive. It looks great, and I would definitely recommend him! (And have to those family and friends who raved about our new fence!)

Jason and his team and the company did a great job with my fence and made sure I was 100% satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them for future projects.

Lounden Deck and Fence crew showed up promptly at 8:30 AM and we discussed the project and walked the fence line. They quickly began to dismantled the fence and dug new post holes. The new fence was up by 3PM. The new fence is much more sturdy than the previous one. I would recommend Lounden Deck and Fence Company for quality of their work.

Day of install - some confusion because the estimate was off by 6and quot;. Six inches? Yes - the installer was that concerned about making sure I had exactly what I wanted. That pleased me. Installers took down the old section, installed new, used 6x6 for gate posts, and were done in 3 hours. Fence was custom built - not prefab and stuck in place. Door hardware is pretty standard, but functions well. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality. Followup - Dec 2012, had a technician come by and examine the work. They did a minor adjustment of the gate hardware, and replaced one of the post caps. This was done under warranty, and I _did_not_ request this visit. This was entirely on the companies own initiative. Again, nice that a company does this type of follow up.

I needed wire fencing put on an existing board fence to contain my new puppy. The fence enclosed a horse pasture that was over 100 feet in perimeter. When I called Loudoun Deck and Fence, they were very friendly. They came out and gave me a fair estimate for the work and completed the work promptly. I am extremely happy with their work and would definitely use them for future projects and recommend them to others.

A referral from a co-worker and Angie'sList sealed the deal. The estimate was the lowest in price and the work was completed including the tear down of the old fence in one day. Two gates were installed with locks - started at 8 am and finished by 7 pm. The project manager came out in a couple of days and reviewed the work. We were well pleased and were willing to use them again, if we do a deck. We still need to seal it, but we are very happy.

Everything was absolutely perfect. One of the best experiences we've had with any contractor.

They did replace several large sections of my split rail fence. The work went well and I was satisfied with the fence. Although the crew packed up and left before asking me to come out and look at their work to make sure I was satisfied. In the end, I was satisfied although it took a lot of back and forth emailing/calling on my part to finally get a quote in writing and to schedule someone to come out to give an estimate.

I submitted a request for a fence estimate via their website. At some point during that process they state that you can expect to hear back from them in a few days. Well, a few days went by so I called to see when an estimator would be coming out. Turns out my neighbor happened to call them as well so they were trying to find a time when we would both be available. I understand trying to gain efficiencies, but at least call and tell me what's going on. The estimator came out on a Saturday (9/8) morning. My neighbor and I told him what we were looking to have done, with a few possible variations. He told us he'd have an estimate to us by Monday (9/10) and if we didn't hear from him just send an email. Well, Thursday (9/13) came and went without a word so I sent an email. No response to this day. I saw a fence they built in our neighborhood that looked very nice...it was the reason I called them. I guess they're just too busy to bother contacting interested clients. Good for them if that's the case, but in a day and age when customer service really sets companies apart from one another, Loudoun Deck and Fence obviously has none. My rating is based solely on their customer service. I cannot comment on the quality of work they provide, but I'm glad we found someone else. If we did have a problem once construction started I can only imagine the headache it might have become.

Jason Weatherholtz from Loudoun Deck and Fence was extremely professional, and the bid he prepared was very clear as to what was included. Jason was very helpful with providing examples for al the possible materials and in the selection of materials and advice given that our yard is on a hill. He was also upfront that the manufacturer was shipping orders in the 6 week time frame and responsive by e-mail. Even so the entire project took much longer than we had hoped to be completely done, as a few things were not ordered initially, (a few caps for gate posts and chain link fence bottom bar wee late to be installed) or installed properly the first go round ( pool code latches on the wrong side of fence). That being said, the company was very responsive and rectified each the situation directly with out excuses. We are happy with the fence now that it is installed, but we wish it had take less time to be completed. I would give Jason an and quot;Aand quot; for professionalism, but the little things that we had to watch over to make sure that they were done correctly upon installation drove the B rating.

It went great overall. Tim Vernon gave me a quick review of the project and an estimated price. I provided him a 50% deposit and he estimated the work could be done in one day and would begin in 7-10 days. The work was delayed a few days due to his waiting for receipt of the cedar wood. The result is great and the fence looks absolutely like it should. I would use this company again.

Dan Hutchinson came to our home and was the only estimator (he is the owner) to bring a laptop and software to show our potential deck design in 3D and gave us a fair quote. He spent 2 hours going over every detail and answering every question with patience and no pressure. He was no quick talking salesman but a nice guy doing his job. We could tell he knew his stuff. We chose him to do the work and are more than pleased. He has his own crew, not guys off the corner. I am very detail oriented and picky and they exceeded my expectations with the quality of work. The deck came out beautifully. Dan is a guy of utmost integrity and honesty and we highly recommend him. If there is any issue he takes care of it - may take a little time, but it gets done.
