I had 5 different estimates and Chris' was the best value. He was straightforward from the beginning about the projects and the different options with pros and cons. He told me it would take two weeks and it took exactly two weeks and a day - only because the bathroom floor wasn't level and a base for the tub had to dry. This crew is professional and they care about their work - hard to find these days.

The deck was in very poor condition. Chris' crew replaced faulty boards and one privacy fence on the deck, pressure washed the deck, sanded it, and stained it a beautiful two-tone that all the neighbors have complimented. It is the envy and pride of the neighborhood. I also had two bathrooms remodeled. The master bathroom had three floors removed. The bathrooms are now showroom perfect with new cabinets, fixtures, lighting, granite countertops with new sinks, and best of all, new Italian ceramic tile floors. They even painted the walls twice because I didn't like the first color. No one complained. Every one of the workers were courteous and cheerful. Each night the crew cleaned up the work site, put their equipment and tools away, and folded the tarps. The next day they laid out their tarps to protect my new carpeting, took out their tools and went right to work. I am thrilled with the final results. I can now be proud of my bathrooms. I would definitely recommend Chris to any of my friends, relatives and/or neighbors.

This will be our second time working with Chris and his crew. Fantastic. Could not be happier. Prompt. Well equipped. (Even brought they're own little microwave to warm up lunch...). No creep factor or "slick used car salesman" vibe. Went above and beyond. Habitat for Humanity was to come pick up appliances, but not able to do for 2 weeks. Chris overheard phone conversation and offered to help. (Otherwise appliances would have sat on my front porch). Brought in his flat bed the next morning, loaded and took to HFH. Even brought back tax receipt! While he was gone dropping off appliances, plumber and electricians came in. Plumber re-ran some copper pipes found in bulk head. (Surprise!!!) Electricians sorted out some odd-spider webbed wiring found in bulk head, (Surprise!!!) again) and re-routed a few outlets. Both in/out in under 3 hours. Subcontractors all worked together with Chris's crew to get the job done quickly. Have worked together for many years apparently. All are friendly, courteous and clean. All done in 2 days. Had to come back to deal with appliances larger than my entryway and prettify some drywall. Also has a guy who does the counter tops who is ridiculously knowledgeable when it comes to the different types of stone, care and maintenance and where to get the best price. Highly recommend. If you need to wait, wait. It's worth it to have done right the first time.

They were very prompt, professional and friendly. The crew has an excellent work ethic and the quality of the work is top notch!! Chris showed up every day and made sure we were happy with the work. Who wouldn't be happy?! I will definitely use again!!

The crew was great. Very nice to work with. The attention to detail was very good. Any concerns that were raised along the way were quickly addressed.

.After 32 years and seeing numerous "dips" in our roof, we decided it was time for replacement. As we have had several jobs done by Chris Hagan, we gave him a call (we had already received other quotes). His price was fair considering the other quotes, and because we knew his workmanship from previous work accepted his quote. Work started on Saturday March 28 and was completed Wednesday April 1. It was a good thing that we went with replacing the wood as during demolition one of the workers did break through one of the panels while removing shingles, and actually put a small hole in the ceiling of our bedroom. Thankfully he was not injured and Chris immediately stated that he would repair the ceiling once the outside work was done. While replacing the wood, they noticed that two of the trusses over the garage were too far apart which caused excessive dipping between them. They went ahead and placed 2x4 supports between the trusses to prevent it from occurring again. In addition one of our wind turbines was not working and they replaced that as well. All work was done in a very professional manner and all workers were very courteous and ensured that good cleanup was conducted each day.

Both jobs went very well! He was promp and professional. The work was done beautifully. i was so impressed with the work he did at my Dad's house and that is why I asked him to work on my house.

After getting several estimates we decided to go with Chris since he seemed very informed and asked specific questions about what exactly we wanted done. His price was slightly above the other estimate but we felt confident that Chris would get it done right the first time. Started a little late since another job he had ran long, but he made it clear to us up front that we had to be flexible since he will not pull his crew off one job until it was completed just to start another so this was fine. The crew were very pleasant and clean, even though this was a 10 day job in the basement they cleaned up the entire work area each day prior to leaving. Chris was available during the entire process and we were able to make some changes and additions from our original estimate with ease as the work progressed. I was very pleased with the result and the price we agreed upon did not change with the exception of upgrades I wanted. Chris is very familiar with this area and gave us several recommendations for other contractors for specific projects we had in mind. I was also happy that he called a few weeks after the job was finished to make sure everything was good after we had a chance to live in it a while, and offered to come back and fix anything that wasn't right. Overall a great experience and I will surely tell my friends to give Chris a call when they need some remodeling work.

They stand by their work. The quality of their work also stands out to me.

He drilled small holes in a bay window ceiling to make sure no mold was there from the water damage then suggested to use mold resistant primer and repaint vs replacing the dryway. The only reason why I gave the Quality rating a 'B' vs 'A' is because the stain did bleed through again but he very quickly came out and covered the ceiling again. Another part of the ceiling they fixed has a tiny crack showing again but I have not called them to come back out yet due to time. I'm sure when I do they will very promptly fix any problems.

Excellent. Pre work meeting went very well. Chris explained everything to me well. Asking questions, answering questions and providing suggestions. Punctual. Work was done in a timely manner. Although i had scheduling issues, he worked with me timeline. Final cost was just above initial estimate. But this was due to changes that I wanted.

This is the third time that we have used Chris. Once was a basement renovation, next to install a new patio door, and now a new bathroom door. All work by Chris has been outstanding. He shows up on time, goes over what he will accomplish that day, and at the end of the day ensures he let's you know exactly what was done, and that the work area is clean and neat. Chris is our "go to" guy for any work around our house. We highly recommend him and are willing to show examples of his work on our house.

The deck looks very good the workmen did a great job. The area was left clean (no debris left).

They were very responsive and they dealt with the issue quickly and to our satisfaction. They were very professional and they make sure their customers are satisfied. We would recommend them to others.

As normal, he arrived on time, completed the job in a timely manner and ensured everything was picked up and cleaned upon finishing. We would not hesitate to recommend Chris for any work needed around the house. He always provides a fair price and follows through with excellent craftsmanship.

They did a good job just took longer than I had thought. They came when they said they would and were very polite. We are not smokers and some worker smoked so you smelled in on them when they came in. That would probably would be my only complaint.

The job was begun on time and Chris kept us advised as to when they would be working. They missed a few days, some due to weather, but in the long run the schedule worked well, considering the amount of extra work we requested (outside the scope of the original contract). He added a tile floor to the porch and finished off the interior, which we had not considered at the outset. His crew did a nice job of keeping the area neat and clean at the end of each day.

They were wonderful. We had a complete remodel of our master bath. At the end of each work day, they would clean up as much as possible. Very happy with the work performed. I would use them again in the future.

Our original windows were the casement style, that had to be cranked out by handles, and we wanted to replace them with regular, double hung windows. Our concern was the cost as we knew they would have to be "custom made". Our neighbors had two windows replaced in their home by a local "custom" window installer, and they spent over $3000 on just the two windows.Chris came in and quoted us a price of just under $550 per window installed. For six windows, the total cost $3222, which we felt was an extremely reasonable price. He quoted us two days for the install. The windows were vinyl outside, with wood inside, stained to match our existing trim. The complete installation took three days instead of two, but that was our fault as we had issues with matching the existing trim. But that was easily solved, and Chris was fantastic about working with us during this project. Chris Hagan is now our "go to" guy for any work that we need on our house. I has an excellent crew that can take care of plumbing, electrical, and other remodeling needs. Highly recommend you consider him.

Our granddaughter had been living in a 10x12 bedroom for several years, and knowing that it would be a while before she could financially afford to move out, we decided to convert half of our basement into a living area for her. We called several remodelers in the Warrenton area and asked for estimates for the conversion. Out of five that were contacted, only two actually provided written estimates. When Chris came by, he showed up with a large portfolio of previous work and a copy of his licenses, Very professional from the moment is stepped through the door, he looked over drawings that I had already roughed out, made some suggestions for changes, went down and took his measurements, and said he would get back with us the next day, which he did. All work was completed on time, and within the estimated costs (our actual out of pocket costs were higher because of additional work that we requested during construction). His professionalism throughout construction was outstanding. At the end of each day, he would take us downstairs and show us what was accomplished, tell us what time he would be there the next day and what work he anticipated to get done. In addition, the floor was swept and all tools put away and stacked neatly in one area. We were so impressed with his work, that we had him back in April 2011 to replace all of our exterior windows, which also was completed on time and within his estimate. He is very easy to work with, and takes obvious pride in his workmanship. We feel that is pricing is very fair for the quality of work that you receive.
