I have had Chris Hagan work on my houses going back to 2011 basement remodel with Media Rm, 2017 General contractor work, 2020 Master bath remodel, 2022 Bonus Rm and Gym Rm. He and his team have always provided outstanding service with plumbing, electrical, flooring, and painting. Chris is also outstanding for communicating the planning schedule and when his team will be arriving to perform which portion of the contract. I have never had an issue with Chris not going above and beyond to meet his customers needs. I recommend Chris Hagan to all my friends that need any type of GC work at their residence. You will not go wrong with select Hagan Design for all your GC needs.

I contacted Hagan on Angies list and was immediately prompted to call him to schedule an appointment since he does not reply to messages or schedule appointments through Angie’s List. Chris came to inspect the job and take measurements and was very friendly. However, that was the last I heard from him. I attempted to call him and I also sent an email, but did not receive any follow up. It’s very disrespectful and wasted two weeks of my time.

Chris and his team were punctual and professional throughout the whole process. They did excellent work and finished the job in the time they said they would. They showed up every day by 9am. Chris was always responsive to messages and texts; answering my questions quickly. I liked the way they structured payment, paying in increments for the work completed. The bathroom and backsplash look amazing and I can find no flaws with any of the work performed. We will definitely hire again to do the master bathroom remodel and other jobs in the future. Couldn’t recommend higher!

Smoothly. Chris is very flexible and accommodating. His extensive knowledge with all contracting areas helped us make good remodeling decisions plus he saved us significant money. He also went beyond the contractor scope by meeting with us at the supply house to choose the correct items for installation on several occasions. His crew and subcontractors are very experienced. My experience working with Chris Hagan was 100% positive. Chris impressed me from the get-go by how he runs his business. He places a premium on communication. First, he provided detailed contracts and went over them with me line-by-line. I understood exactly what to expect and was never faced with unpleasant surprises. Second, he was never too busy to talk to me or answer questions, literally making himself available day or night. Third, he kept me in the loop regarding scheduling and project status. All of this made working with him frustration-free. As I have no construction background, I needed a lot of guidance when planning my projects. Chris gave me great ideas and always gave me options from which to choose, sometimes offering aesthetic differences, sometimes budgetary. His expertise was invaluable. I am very happy with all of the work; obviously I wouldn’t give an excellent rating otherwise. The process bears further detail. Without exception, the work crews were skillful, personable and careful to inconvenience me as little as possible while they were here. Taking their cue from Chris, they even helped me with some minor handyman-type matters while on-site, just to make my life easier. They were terrific. Last, and by no means least, Chris is dedicated to making his clients happy. As the projects progressed, he cheerfully rolled with the punches, making changes to conform to my evolving wishes. Undoubtedly such things were frustrating for him, but he never made me feel like I was making his life difficult, bless his heart. I hope that seeing some of the reasoning behind my excellent rating will help you decide to consult Chris Hagan. Personally, I think anyone who passes up an opportunity to work with him is absolutely nuts. I’ll never hire anyone else.

All went great? Chris ordered new siding and placed it in an inconspicuous location and took the removed siding to replace siding at the front of the house so it would blend. Screen replacement looks great. We are very pleased with the service. Would hire again and would recommend others consider their services.

Excellent, This was the second time we had used Hagan Build and Design for a home remodeling repair. Chris and his crew did excellent work, and finished on time. They were very professional during the entire process. We trust Chris when it comes to our home remodeling projects.

Chris came in with the best estimate for the kitchenette we wanted in the basement. They put in cabinets, counters, a sink, and appliances. They had to install electric and plumbing. They also added a wall. Chris and his employees (Including Julio, Andrew and Cliff) were very prompt each day. They were exceptionally courteous and professional. Same with Chris' sub-contractors. When the workers left each day they did a great job cleaning everything up. The job was done on time, in about 3 weeks. The kitchen looks great. Chris kept us up to date on everything that was going on. His team did an exceptional job. We later hired them to do a major remodeling job when we were putting our house up for sale (They did a great job on that, too!).

Chris and his employees (and sub-contractors) did a major remodeling on our house. They had previously done some work for us and we liked their work. They put in hardwood floors, carpets, and vinyl flooring throughout the house. They fixed drywall damage. In the kitchen, they replaced cabinets, counters and appliances. They remodeled 3 bathrooms. They replaced the inside doors. They put in new light fixtures. They repainted the inside of the house. They updated the electric panel box. They repaired the outside deck and lights. They removed old appliances and furniture and anything else we asked them to remove. Chris' employees (including Julio, Andrew and Cliff) were courteous and respectful and made sure that everything was cleaned up before they went home at night. The sub-contractors were the same. Chris and his team were very professional, and the house looked great when they were done. We enjoyed working with them, and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Chris and his team did a great job with our bathroom remodel. They were all very professional and courteous. Chris responded to and addressed all questions or concerns immediately. We would definitely recommend him to others. He started and finished the project when he said he would. A new tub, toilet, vanity sink, added a window in exterior wall, tiled walls and floors, painted, and cleaned up.

Chris and his team were professional and did an amazing job restoring my home. The entire exterior of my home looks brand new. I could not have hired a better contractor anywhere to do a job this nice. Hagan's is timely professional and does excellent work. Definitely takes the stress off of his clients.

Chris is a real pleasure to work with and was very responsive to our requests. The roofing crew replaced the plywood and shingle within a day, another crew finished the rest within the second day. We are very satisfied with the timeliness and quality of the work performed.

It was very pleasant experience working with Chris, he always communicated with me and kept me updated all the time. His work was very professional and reasonably priced. Chris and his crew made it easy for me as an investor due to their extensive construction experience. The crew arrived on site exactly and completed the work as scheduled. Chris does not cut any corner, he secured all necessary county permits, he also used a highly qualified team of licensed electrician, plumber and engineer where needed, for example, he arranged for the services of a licensed building engineer to inspect and design the proper size of the load bearing beam/truss replacement. They are a very professional and thoughtful company with a great deal of integrity - features not easily found in today's business environment, Highly Recommended!

We had a new 12x10 full-deck installed off the back of my townhouse and were very pleased with the high quality of work and professional service. Chris took care of application paperwork for permits from the County, we don't have the platt for our townhouse property boundary, Chris managed to persuade the County to use the plat from the adjacent house because it also has the draw of our house boundary, this saved us few hundred dollars.

Chris Hagan was extremely professional, showed me some great work he has done in the past, and comes highly recommended from others on Angie's List. Unfortunately, the quote he provided was for $28,000, which was more than $10,000 above any other quotes I received on this project. My suspicion is that his high prices are the result of him being located near the rapidly expanding suburbs, but out in the country, his prices are not in line with the market.

We had a relatively small project. I highly recommend Hagan for the carpentry work they did on our cabinets above the sink to delete an apron and add a pendant light, and for the amazing countertop fabrication and installation company they use. He uses a great plumber, too. We could not be happier with our countertops, sink, and over-sink modification. Mr. Hagan was always on time and aware of what I wanted. He made special arrangements to have my project done on a time crunch. We plan on using him again for larger projects.

We first hired Chris to fix water damage done to a ceiling. He was on time, finished the job within the time frame and true to his estimate. When we needed our interior painted for a move, we knew that we would use Chris based on first impressions. And, staying true to who he is as a professional, his crew was always on time, extremely professional, they finished on time and true to his estimate. I would't use anyone else for my remodeling needs.

All the work was done in a timely manner. They were able to keep one of our bathrooms up and running so we did not have to leave our house. The quality of the work was very good and we were very happy with the outcome.

From the first consultation we had with Chris we found he was very straight forward and clear with his communication. The job was defined and options explored in a way that two senior women could understand. The budget was discussed and in a few days we had our quote. Work started on time every day and each day we knew what the work plan was. When his workers left each day you couldn?t tell they had been there. His workers were cheerful, courteous, and took pride in their work. His sub-contractors were excellent, worked well with his workers, were timely and cleaned up when done. When unexpected issues arose they were no big deal for Chris. He always had a solution and if there was more than one solution he explored the pros and cons with us. Chris does an excellent job of managing resources and time. Also, he often went above and beyond my expectations. In two situations I had been researching certain products on-line and was having difficulty finding what was needed. Chris took time to personally check for the items locally and was able to tell me where to purchase them. Chris guarantees his work for a year and that means a great deal to us. Overall it was a great experience. We have the loveliest kitchen either one of us has ever had and I have a shower I enjoy using every day.
