The team showed up on time and went straight to work. They were pleasant and professional and were finished in a few hours. All debris was cleaned up. I would definitely hire them again for any tree work.

Randy, the salesman was very prompt and professional and understood my needs. We did talk about grinding the surface roots, as I am going to run a paved driveway over the area where the tree was, but Randy did not write that on the ticket and I missed the fact that he did not. The tree cutting crew did a very good, quick job and removed the tree and cleaned up well. Very pleased with their work. The stump grinding was done a the following week when I was not at the house, and when I found that the surface roots had not been removed I realized it was not on the work ticket to do so. I talked with Alan, who did the stump grinding, he was very polite, understood my needs and returned two days later completing the work without any hesitation. I could not be more pleased with the work, price and professionalism of True Timber. I have additional tree work that will need to be done in the future and they will be my go-to tree service. My brother-in-law also will be using them.

Came to my house and provided an estimate. Called to let me know they might arrive late (though they ended up being right on time). Once the work was scheduled it was done promptly and efficiently. They also cleaned up in the debris produced from the job. The young man that leading the team was very polished and he made sure I was satisfied with the results before they left. All that and I paid significantly less than I was expecting. Highly, highly recommended.

It went very well. The team arrived on time. The company coordinated their work with VA Dom. Power due to dead tree's location near a power line to the house and the neighbor's house. On the day of the job the neighbor refused to allow the power to be turned off. The team went ahead and did the job. It took them longer to take down the tree safely, but I so appreciated that they did not cancel the scheduled work. The yard was cleaned up as promised. The stump grinding occurred later and was completed as promised. Great Job!

These guys ROCK!! We had to have some trees felled due to work we are having done on the house and the tree work had to be done before the other work starts this week.. Although they had a full schedule, Scott worked us in and had three live trees felled a week-and-a half ago and the remaining ones done today - true to his word. The crews are absolutely expert and professional and very amiable, in addition. The work was done in a very timely manner (despite excruciating weather!). They were constantly keeping us up-to-the-minute as to what was happening, checking on our wishes and the work order. When they left, the yard was immaculate. You would not even know they had been there, except for a few trees missing!! Excellent! We hired True Timber a couple of years ago after a hurricane damaged our lovely, large, old oak tree in the front of the house that we were anxious to save. They came out and trimmed, aerated the soil beneath the tree to further help it along. When Scott returned for this visit he was pleased (as are we) that the tree is thriving. Again, they ROCK!

Truetimber arrived on designated date and time. They pruned a large Hackberry in my backyard removing several very large limbs. I have a garage and fence directly underneath the tree and Truetimber was very careful to not damage any structures near the tree. The end result was a beautiful tree, pruned just the right amount with no collateral damage. They removed all debris. I would use this firm again without hesitation.

As always best tree service in all of Richmond. I have used this outfit 4 or 5 times and each time is superb. The staff is super professional and quality of work is unmatched. Pricing is very competitive, and they can do all levels of jobs.

They showed up on time (approximately 8:15 in the morning), and they took longer than I expected, but I think it was reasonable, considering the size of 2 of the trees. While removing some of the debris, some limbs were dragged across my hardboard siding, which caused some tearing of the siding. I did not notice until after they were gone, so I emailed pictures of the damage to their email address, and I received a call the next day from the owner, who apologized and promised to fix it. He came out a few days later and replaced the piece of siding (with a better piece), and painted the new siding. They do a good job with their customer service.

They were very professional, efficient and the cheapest I found.

My service started in March. An arborist came to look at a healthy tree that was way too close to the house. Each time, the crew had to race the weather. First to remove he tree, then to come back and get the stump. They made a difficult job look incredibly easy.

The crew arrived on time, immediately got to work. The very efficiently and professionally took down a large Red Oak in our back yard that had died. They were able to drop it so that it avoided damaging anything around it including a sandbox, play house and bushes. Then they began trimming the branches that were hanging on our roof. After the original quote, I was able to add taking down a small tree that was close to our deck and because it was so small, they didn't charge any extra. In addition to this, one of the crew saw some dead branches on a different tree that he removed which was not part of the original quote but did not charge anything extra. When all the cutting was complete, the crew cleaned up all the debris and I could hardly tell they had done any work at all. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any future tree work.

The service we received was fantastic. The price was far more reasonable than several of their competitors. The crew was punctual and completed the job in fair less time than we would have ever imagined. We will definitely utilize their services again in the future. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job for me. They kept us informed the whole time and were just as friendly and nice as anybody I've ever worked with. The fellow who came out and did the estimate, we liked him. Their estimate was right in line with most of them. The estimate that they gave was very reasonable for the work.

They were fully harnessed and do an excellent job a removing dead limbs and overhanging branches. I would highly use them again.

Worked with my wife and decided what work needed to be done. They were totally thorough and professional. Very impressive. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

They responded promptly to my request for an estimate and were very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. My only disappointment was the long wait to actually get the work done after I called to schedule the work. It was 7 weeks before they could schedule a crew to get to my job. But since it was near the holidays, I agreed to wait. On the day the work was scheduled, the crew arrived promptly and went right to work. They were very careful and didn't waste any time at all. The crew leader was courteous and helpful and worked well with his team. Unfortunately, there was some damage done to my 25 year old fence as they were dragging branches through a fairly narrow gate. The crew leader immediately contacted the office to have someone come out to arrange for repairs. The whole situation was handled professionally and I am satisfied with the result. Overall, I was very pleased with the work that was done and the way everything was handled. I would definitely use this company again.

Ryan came out and gave me and estimate. Seemed like a fair price, so I didn't bother contacting anyone else. The guys who came out to do the tree work were very professional and cleaned up all the debris. A seperate gentlemen came out to grind the stumps and he had come several times prior, but didn't want to damage the lawn after heavy rain. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. I'll be using them again.

When I first contacted True Timber I got a very pleasant and quick response and they even agreed to come out to my home at a weekend to give me an estimate, as I work during the week. Randy was very pleasant, knowledgeable and happy to share advice on the options for the three trees that needed attention, even recommending less expensive options where appropriate. He drew up a plan showing the position of the trees and estimate for each individual piece of work. Their estimate was one third of the cost of a similarly rated firm in my locality,. They did a very professional and efficient job . In fact, they did such a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves that when I came home I thought at first they hadn't been. Not a leaf on the driveway! Everything was done exactly as requested - they even got the stump of the biggest tree virtually level with the ground. This is the third time I have used this company and every time the team has been very professional and friendly - only too happy to advise on what is and isn't needed. Previously I've always been present throughout the job. The guys work hard and obviously enjoy what they do and working together as a team. It's a pleasure to be around them. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They are simply outstanding; they even follow up with a customer service call before sending the invoice to make sure everything went well. Companies of this caliber who also provide good value for money are few and far between. Thank you True Timber.

When services were done they arrived early, all employees were very respectful and completed the job fast. They did all work requested and cleaned the entire work area with the exception of saw dust.

Fantastic experience. They went above and beyond, and I really appreciate it! Our yard looks so much better, and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.

It went great! I thought they were good, professional, and their prices were great! I compared them to two other places and their were much better, half the price than the other places.

Excellent work performed. Everyone I spoke with was very pleasant to deal with. Trees cut, log removal, and stump grinding took place in separate steps that took almost 3 weeks to complete - we weren't inconvenienced by that but there wasn't much communicated to make us aware of what was happening. Our fence was damaged during the log removal - and they made sure it was fixed the day after they found out. I think this speaks more highly of their quality and professionalism than anything. Things don't happen perfectly every time, and it is just as important to know that a company will make things right - this company will make sure you are completely satisfied.

I was impressed with both the estimation process and with the actual work. Randy Reynolds came out and looked at several trees whose health we had concerns with. He told us that one of the trees was healthy and did not need any work. He suggested work that we should have done on several other trees. Based on the amount of work that needed to be done, we expected the quote to be much, much higher than it was. We accepted Truetimber's quote and scheduled the work. The day before the scheduled work, Truetimber called and said that the weather the next day would create conditions that were unsafe to work in, so we scheduled a new date. When the new date arrived, Truetimber arrived and quickly got to work. The work involved several people, a bucket truck, and climbing ropes. I was impressed with how quickly and neatly they were able to complete the work. I was also impressed with how deftly the climber used his climbing ropes to trim some of the small branches that extended over the house. Truetimber cleaned up everything before they left, including several limbs that were already on the ground. If we need tree service again, we will definitely be calling Truetimber.

I have used True Timber for years. Great company, insured workers, Good clean up. Not the cheapest, but a quality service at a fair price. They do most of the tree work in the neighborhood and are well known for their work. Eric Sundberg
