It was a fantastic job but, it wasn't horrible either. they could do a little more, a little harder, and a little better.

They could have cleaned up a little better. I purchased a four hour deal.

Excellent, I even had them come out and give me a quote for my new house. I plan on reaching out to them within the next few weeks for a monthly cleaning

All in all I am very pleased with Maid to Sparkle. As noted in other reviews, the first contact is with Jonathan Bernstein, the owner. Mr. Bernstein came to my home, did a walk through, and quoted an extremely reasonable price. On the day that my service was scheduled, I received a text about 2 hours prior to the arrival of the maids letting me know that they were running on time and checking to make sure that their arrival time was still convenient to me. Two ladies arrived and finished the cleaning in a little over an hour. They actually missed a few things during this cleaning, but I am pretty persnickety and can't say that another cleaning service would have caught them. What happened next however, I am pretty sure that NO other cleaning service would have done: I received a call from the supervisor, Miriam, who wanted to come by and check the work that her team had done! While she was here, I pointed out several small things that hadn't been dusted, (I am anal retentive about dusting!). The next day, the team returned, and offered to completely redo the two rooms that had problems. I asked only that they dust the things they had missed, (so that they would know precisely what I wanted next time). They were very professional about the whole thing, and by the time they left, I knew that I need look no further. This is the cleaning company for me! The second time they came, they got every little detail perfectly, and even made my elderly mother smile at the "origami" towels! I feel as if this company goes out of the way to assure customer satisfaction. I look forward to a long relationship with this cleaning company and would highly recommend them to neighbors, friends, and family!

A very professional gentleman set up the appointment and also followed up on cleaning day and again afterwards. Two young ladies showed up ready to clean. For the most part they used their own equipment and supplies. The ladies worked together like a well-trained team, performing a first-class job! They were professional and efficient. I would definitely use this cleaning service again and would request the same two young ladies. It was money well spent!!

They did a great job. I stopped by during lunch and they were cleaning the blinds and ceiling fans. Very detailed and they stayed at the house cleaning the full time that I paid for. Great service, even got a follow up call afterwards asking about how the service went.

I had them do different things so they're flexible as far as what they wanted to clean. They did a good job.

Good work generally, but lacked attention to detail. Blinds were all dusty, inside of closets was not swept/dusted, under rolling kitchen island was not touched.

Not well. The owner agreed to have cleaners meet me at my newly purchased home at a specific time. After waiting for over an hour and a half, I reached him by phone. He called the cleaning women to see where they were and called me back to say that they were on their way. When I asked how long it would take for them to arrive, I was told 30 minutes! I had a vet appointment and couldn't stay to meet them so I left the front door unlocked. I had reviewed specific things with the owner of Sparkle the day before and I restated what was to be done. I also told him that I'd return to review their work. I'd asked to have all the oak floors swept. To have the windows and trim dusted. I asked that the majority of the time be spent on scrubbing the kitchen and two bathrooms. These areas were in serious need of cleaning. When I arrived at about 5pm, one woman was wet-mopping the Living Room floor. She said that they didn't have brooms or dusting material. They weren't allowed to have them - no dust pan either just a vacuum. The vacuum couldn't fit into certain areas as it was an old upright. The two of them had been there about 2-hours. When I asked about dusting and pointed out the dust on the woodwork and doors in rooms that they deemed finished, one of the women picked up a dirty mop and started dusting with it. She restated that they had no dusting materials. According to her, they weren't allowed after some kind of customer complaint. I've never heard of a cleaning company without dusting cloths or even a broom. I had to leave the home and asked that they close up when finished in about an hour. They were to turn off the air conditioners as the windows were open upstairs to air out the place and it was summer. When I returned to the home after the weekend, the air conditioning had been left on upstairs. The windows were still open. None of the specific cleaning in the areas had been done after I left. Both women had stated that they'd already cleaned three full homes before arriving at my house. They both said that they had children and had to go. They also said that they hadn't been asked to focus on the kitchen, just the bathrooms. They'd never seen Sparkle's owner since the day they interviewed for jobs. He doesn't come to review the work and just handles phone calls. He also told me that he'd call and check on the job the next day but he knew I was upset by being kept waiting in this empty house for about 2-hours just to meet the cleaners. He's never called to check on the work. You'd never know that they'd cleaned the place. While the bathrooms and kitchen were a bit better, they were still filthy when the women had left. The kitchen floor was never scrubbed. A dead bird, dirt and paint chips were left by the backdoor, inside the house. With no broom or dustpan, I guess that they weren't willing to pick things up with the paper towels that I'd had on the counter in the Kitchen. All-in-all, I'd give them a D. It wasn't the women's fault. They weren't properly equipped, didn't have the correct instructions and had been given more work to do than they could fit into their schedule. I feel cheated. It's no wonder this company was offering a coupon and special pricing. How they had an A on Angie's List is a mystery. I cancelled my new Angie's List membership right after this. With this kind of help, who needs enemies? The pictures are post cleaning!

Horrible. 6 hours got me a $165 cleaning fee and $175 trash removal from the condo property managers. Waste of my money. I said trash everything and why did you leave a box of all the trash behind. Did not clean bathrooms and left stickiness on all surfaces. Do not use them. It's a scam.

They did not do a good job. I have 3 floors and in 3 hours, they just cleaned the upper floor which is an attic and a big room and wash room. They did the middle floor which are like 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. They did not do my down floor and they did not do the windows so it was like 6 hours. I now have a permanent maid, 2 people come for 2 hours and they are done with my home. When I told these ladies to do the windows and they had like 2 hours, they slowed down and didn't do anything in the 2 hours but hanged out. They left without even doing my first floor. They did not even complete the service. The price was good and that was why I bought the coupon. The guy who managed the company was responsive. They did not show up on time and left before time.

Very pleased. We bought a package deal that involved 2 workers for 3 hours. The cleaners arrived on time, we reviewed info about which windows should be cleaned as part of the package, and they set to work. Result was excellent. We heard later from a neighbor that the new owners said they had never seen anyone leave a house in such excellent condition.

Team was very well prepared, did an excellent job cleaning. They did the kitchen, bathroom, oven, sink, ceiling fans, baseboard. We have hired them to do biweekly cleaning into the future.

Perfect. We called at the last moment (2 days before cleaning needed) and they were able to schedule us in that week. The ladies were professional and detailed and I would highly recommend their services!
