Description of Work: I was excited when I was notified that Home Depot was doing complete bathroom remodeling. Home Depot subcontracts the work through Affordable Contractors- and here lies the issues. I scheduled an appointment with Affordable Contractors. I met with the representative several times to design and pick out material. Because most of the items that Affordable uses are from the Home Depot online site or catalog, it was difficult for me to feel comfortable with my selections without being able to see anything in person. The person was going to put some information together to send me. When I didn't hear from the Affordable person, I contacted him and he notified me that he had been terminated from Affordable Contractors. This meant that we had to start the process all over again since none of the original information was passed on to Affordable. We again met with a person from Affordable Contractors. On the 2nd meeting, he wanted us to sign a contract and put 50% down. This was with no itemization or anything written about what the cost contained. After 2 weeks, we still had not heard from the 2nd contractor. When he was contacted, he said that the paperwork was in his home office and he would have it to us in a couple of days. It's been 2 weeks and no word. Affordable contacted me again to set up an appointment with a 3rd person. Normally, I would be done with a company that has delivered such poor service however this is the only contracting company that Home Depot uses for bath remodeling. I am going to gee them one more chance. Home Depot hasn't been much help either because they just transfer me to Affordable without getting involved.

+ -1 moreThis company was very good and on time they were also reasonable with their pricing. The workers were very respectable they helped me solve a problem with my neighbors. They were afraid that the fence would go in their property so the workers explained to them exactly where it was going to be put and they agreed. I really liked that about them and I had my fence put up with no problems.
Description of Work: I had a wood fence put in around my entire back yard enclosing it. They took out the old fence as a part of the service.

+ -1 moreWe bought the carpeting at Home Depot and then they sent over some workers to install it. A crew of three men completed the work within two or three hours. They did an excellent job, and there were no tacks or seams visible.
Description of Work: Home Depot installed new carpet in four rooms and a hallway.

+ -1 moreHome Depot did a really good job on my doors. I thought they looked so nice. I wanted to buy some extra ones just to have as spares. The guys that delivered them were so nice. I wanted to tip them, but I didn't have any money and my husband said that we weren't at a restaurant.
Description of Work: They replaced the front and back door on our home.

+ -1 moreThe pipe leaked and the guy who came out to do the work was very rude. He did come back to fix the pipe. We have used Home Depot several times and they have always sent really good technicians out. This guy was a very rude man, but it was not Home Depot's fault, it was the fault of the man that they sent out, but he did fix all the leaks.
Description of Work: We had a new kitchen sink installed and a garbage disposal with the faucets and the piping.
