Description of Work: Shingles were removed from roof and new shingles installed. They were on the dob as promised and the work was completed in a satisfactory way. My only complaint was the timeline for starting the job and that may have been caused by weather. I was promised a 2-4 week window but work was not started until week 6 but that was OK. Company employees were polite and friendly and workers were very hard and energetic workers. They ran short of shingles otherwise the job would have been completed in one day. The yard was cleaned up upon completion of the job. We were satisfied with the job. Would recommend them and would use them again.

Description of Work: The professional from CTR did a very thorough job on the roof inspection. He nailed down some loose nails bit did not need to replace any shingles. I was very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: Fixed bad shingles on roof and repaired flashing around chimney and skylights. Special attention had to be given to flashing, etc., around the chimney which turned out to be pretty involved.

Description of Work: For the Angie's Special of $199 they were to do "roof maintenance, minor leak repairs, and storm inspection". The first oral report I got from the office manager was that I needed a new roof and that extra labor was going to be required for cleaning the considerable debris accumulated on the roof over time. And they did not even report the soft spot on an area of the roof which I had been specific about when I placed the work order! On their second visit, they went to my husband's house, and not to mine. When I called the manager to ask about their findings, he reported they had gone to the wrong house and made it look as if this was in my favor, a sort of freebie(???) When they finally went to my house after I specifically asked them to look for the soft spot above the utility room, they gave me a $300 quote (which involved replacing rotten plywood), and they did a good job. It took a third visit, though, and I had to be present, to discuss with one of their workmen what was specifically done and what else was needed. This man finally agreed to climb to the roof and do the inspection that needed to have been done the first time around. He cleaned the debris after I prompted him to do it, and came with a totally different assessment. I DID NOT NEED A NEW ROOF AFTER ALL! (I knew this, since the roof is only 8 years old). I really feel that the initial $199 fee was no bargain whatsoever. They must have inspected the roof from way down below and the first workman didn't bother to remove one bit of the debris, which was not cumbersome to do at all. How can anybody inspect a roof from below without really taking a close look at what you are doing? If you are considering hiring this firm which now goes by the name of Cross Timbers Roofing, be there, be present, talk to the worker, and insist that you get a real answer that satisfies YOU, the client.

Description of Work: They called when they were suppose to call to set up the appointment. On the appointment day the service man looked at the roof and recommended that I have the roof replaced because if they performed the service he could not guarantee that it would fix the problem. The service tech was very honest and i really appreciated it. They are going to call to set up an appointment to get a free estimate.
