Critter Control

The service went fine. We had some bats in our attics and they came out and fix the place where they were coming in. I was really pleased with them. They're very professional and they showed me the problem and stuff.

We had evidence of a possum having been in the crawl-space so we called for an inspection .The technician came and found the point of entry as well as looked for other weaknesses all over the house. He then set a trap for the possum and secured all the weak points all over the house. He came back twice to check the trap and never caught anything, so we know that the barriers are working well.

This was actually done for my son. The rep came out and assessed the problem, advised that there were bat infants and the actual removal would have to take place after their maturity. So for now he is patching up openings and then the removal will be done and the guano clean up. He was very friendly and prompt to respond. Will keep you posted on the actual removal and clean up later in July of 2013.

The guy who came out was very courteous and was a very kind gentleman. They also got here on time.

Heard a mouse, looked up companies on Angie's list, called the company and they came out the next day and got rid of the mouse/mice. And, then sealed up the hole they came in.

We thought that we had bats in our attic. I called one night at 8pm and someone actually answered. They sent someone out the next morning at 9 am and we discovered that the bats were on the outside screen. We did reseal the area and checked everything out. He even took my husband up to see the area. We were not charged anything! We were very pleased and we will definitely recommend Critter Control to our friends and family.

We are currently painting the exterior of our house and about 2-3 days ago I noticed a very fowl odor coming from the back porch area. I also have a vent in the brick foundation near the porch with a hole in the wire mesh. I had seen a chipmunk come and go and assumed it may have set up house in our crawl space. I checked Angie's list for pest control and recognized "Critter Control" right away. I did call one other place to see if they removed dead animals. The fee for coming out is hefty, I have to say, at both places. My own limited investigation turned up nothing. I called "Critter Control" on a Sunday and happily spoke with a very friendly man who assured me I would be receiving a call the next morning. I waited till 9am and phoned them again because the smell was bad and I felt bad for my painting crew. I was told the ownner was responding to a call in my area and would be coming out between 1 and 3pm that day. Keith, the owner arrived a little before 2pm. I showed him the suspect area and vent. He donned his jumpsuit and went under my porch first. I saw him walk to the truck and retrieve a trash bag so I assumed he'd found something. It was a baby bunny, probably killed by my cat and brought to me as a token. I was relieved and felt bad because had I gone a little farther under my porch, I might have found it myself. But what woman wants to do that? I did ask if he would mind a quick inspection of the crawl space and he very gaciously did so. The vent in question was at the opposite end of the access door to the crawl space...so you know why I didn't go under my house! He came out and told me I had a great crawl space and only found eveidence of possibly mice or a chipmunk. He'd seen tiny tracks in the dust. He closed the vent from outside and said that should take care of the entry problem. I had given my credit card number to the receptionist on the phone earlier that day and Keith very pleasantly suprised me with a significant reduction in the fee I was expecting to pay. I almost cried! Keith said it was such a short call that he felt it was only fair to reduce the fee. You don't often find such generosity these days. I also told Keith that about 10 years ago "Critter Control" ridded my attic of a nest of squirrels. It took over a week as I recall. I did not want them destoyed, just out. They honored my request and once the squirrels vacated, patched the hole between the roof and soffit that the squirrels had chewed through. I'm happy to say I have had no more "guests" in my attic. I would absolutely call them again should the need arise. They were friendly, professional, competitive in pricing, and responded quickly. I'm also thrilled with the fee reduction and know my husband will be as well.

A mother raccoon and her five babies had moved into our attic. The amount noise the Raccoons made was nerve racking!! The Raccoons caused lots of damage to the soffits and the siding in multiple areas. Wow! Great service from Tim Andrew. Tim was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. He assessed the problem and went right to work. It was one of the hottest days of the summer. Tim went into the attic to look for mama raccoon and the babies. Tim's shirt was a pretty yellow when he went up into the attic and by the time he finished crawling and searching the entire length of the rancher, his shirt wasn't pretty yellow anymore. Tim said that he was defiantly sure there were raccoons. Tim then sprayed coyote urine that he assured me would scare the mama raccoon and she would move her babies. Tim set a big trap on the roof for the mama and 5 small traps by one of the soffits that had been ripped open. I felt comfortable that he knew work and took pride in doing a good job. That first night we caught the mama. The next day he installed a one way opening at the soffit. There were 5 babies and Tim caught them over a period of days. Once we were sure that all of the babies were out of the attic and caught and gone. Tim returned, and spent hours blocking every foreseeable entry, including wire over soffits and openings in the siding and the vents. We had knowledgeable, professional service from a polite,efficient techTim Andrew, who enjoys and cares about his work. I would not hesitate to recommend this company Critter Control to anyone with a raccoon problem.

In the last year we have been hearing what sounded like scratching noise in our unfinished attic. The sound got more pronounced and frequent and we thought for sure that squirrels got in to nest. We called Critter Control in April. They came out promptly and did a review of our house and yard. The technicians first thought was mice. We told him how loud the noise seemed to us. He set traps outdoors and throughout our crawl space and came back over a period of several weeks to check and rebate the traps. All he caught was mice.In the next phase he put a poison down in the attic that the mice would eat, leave our attic and die outside. The first round did not work so he used a stronger poison which did the job.The next larger part of this project was to seal off all the potential entryways into the attic. We have a long 9 year old brick range with a second half story. He sealed many crevices by which small animals could enter. When he was satisfied that the scratching had stopped and the mice were gone he finished sealing off the whole roof line. He also put a mesh screen on all the vents at the gables. The work was very professional and much needed. We did not have the skill to do what he did. Although it took 8 weeks from start to finish their concern was to make sure they identified the invader, stopped the invasion, and then seal up the roof line. Although this was a costly project, our long ranch with the long roof line tends to be more expensive to maintain such as, gutter clean out, just due to the size. We highly recommend this firm and also that you do not allow unwelcome guest to live in your attic. It is also important to seal off your roof line. These are the people to call

Customer service was excellent from the first phone call to the last. The service rep was polite and knowledgeable, answered questions about the contract before he started. He spent about 45 min inspecting the house, setting a trap and explaining how he would return each day for 5 days (I think) to inspect the trap and make sure no squirrels were inside the porch roof. He took away only one squirrel and was sure she was the culprit. On the last day of observation, he cleaned our roof of pine needles (there were lots) for a fair price and closed up any potential squirrel entry points with metal and screws. I've been checking every day since with no evidence of chewing noted. Another plus is they invoice via email. Their work is guaranteed and I feel confident their work has fixed our critter problem. The cost may seem steep to many, but squirrels eating your house can be worse!

I needed to remove pests from my home and so I contacted Critter Control. They were not able to rid my home of the pests quickly, but they did remove them. Their price was high, but it was lower than some other pest control companies I contacted. Critter Control gave me adequate service.

We called the company and set a time for an estimate. The guys that came out wereon time, professional and explained their procedures very clearly. They drew up a contract that outlined all services to be preformed. They performed all work as promised.

I called Critter Control at about 8:30 AM and by 10 AM they had a guy over here. He was very friendly and didn't make us feel silly for calling, even though the snake was very small and not harmful. It ended up being a fairly challenging job, because the snake was wedged pretty tightly in the window, which was on the second floor. The technician remained cheerful and professional throughout, however, and even promised NOT to hurt the snake (at my request :)

Live in the city and had evidence of a rat in the basement! Yikes! Were friendly and professional and fast. Needed to do some follow up and did so as promised.

We had raccoons living in our chimney. Critter Control came out, inspected things and gave us an estimate and clearly explained the process for removing the raccoons. We were extremely impressed how much he knew about the raccoons which allowed him to quickly trap and get them out of our home. The estimate was very close to the end cost and the repairs done to prevent future problems were great. We highly recommend their services.

I called Critter Control September 29. The representative was very pleasant and informative in regards to cost and possible procedures. An appointment was set up for September 30. The representative arrived within the specified time bringing very informative literature regarding their procedures. After climbing his ladder and inspecting our roof and gutter he said we definitely had squirrels. He then placed a trap at the entrance to their "home" and told me he would be back the next day. We were going out of town the next day but he said he would still come by and check (squirrels come home at night to sleep). He would leave a note telling us what he had found. He did find mother and two baby squirrels which were removed. A steel guard was placed at the entrance so no further invasions could occur. A few days later our bill arrived as discussed by email. The initial visit had to be paid at time of service which I did not mind. I believe anyone who climbs ladders to roofs, trees, etc. are underpaid. I have deep respect for them. I called Critter Control because of their committment to humanely dispose of unwanted critters. I liked their website and the rating they received on Angies List. I would like to add that as part of their initial inspection for critters they will also inspect for other things as well. Some things would be extra but some are free. Cleaning skylights, removing TV antennas; changing light bulbs in flood lights are free.

Extremely well organized and efficient, they had two different visits to impress me and I was pleased with the service each time.

All went well. The representative was very professional.

Although somewhat expensive, we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. A man named Tim came out within an hour or two of my phone call and he was just delightful. SUPER nice guy, and very thorough. He removed about ten bats from our fireplace with his (gloved) hands and only charged us the cost for one. He even fixed the chimney damper while he was in there. He fully inspected our home for entry points and came back within two days to seal the cracks and install the one-way bat door. The cost was $300 for the inspection/bat removal and $400 for the exterior work. Bonnie was very nice to work with on the billing end, and she gave us a great tip for removing dead bat odors--coffee! Who would've thought? It has been two weeks since the work was completed and we haven't seen another bat. So overall, we are very happy with Critter Control. Would definitely recommend.

Good experience. Sprayed all outside locations. Except for occasional wasp, all have disppeared.

We have no complaints other than the price. $250 is a bit steep for a trip out and home inspection. The fee came with a guarantee to return within 30 days if we had any additional problems, which we did not. Everything was great in all other aspects. Guy was nice, thorough and polite. He arrived on time and was professional. Maybe it pains me that I paid to have him tell me that whatever had been up there was either dead or gone . . . something I suspected already.

Wonderful service and professional demeanor. Will probably hire again this Spring.

We were doing a remodel and while in the attic one of the workmen found bats! I called critter control and the placed a one way door on our vents. The bats left and they came back, cleaned all the mess and placed proper screening over the attic vents. No problems since.

They were successful in removing squirrels and I have not had any problems with squirrels since. They were very professional and courteous. I would recommend them as well.
