They quoted $2400 for the work. They responded quickly and came out exactly at the time they said they would come. They were prompt and to-the-point.

I was scheduled a estimate appointment quickly and he was very polite and sent the estimate back to me in a very resonable time frame. They told us where to go and we were able to pick out a tile that we liked. Once the tile was in we were scheduled an install appointment rather quickly. The install went smoothly. It took two trips one for the pull out and replace of tile and the 2nd day to grout the tile...total maybe 4 hours. Would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

They were knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of our property.

Everything went smooth from start to finish. The company was very easy to work with when getting the quote and setting up the install date. They were even flexible enough to allow me to do part of the job myself which saved me about $1,000.

A design person came out to do the estimate within two days of our email on Angie's List. We called them back about a week later and the job was scheduled for the following week. It took three days to go through all the different stages for the kitchen and the bathroom flooring. Mike Gooden was an excellent worker and very professional in his skills and his overall attitude and manners. He came on time and finished with very little mess in between. We LOVE the finished ceramic tile jobs. They are all beautiful!

I was very pleased with the work performed by Chesterfiled Tile. I knew the tile I wanted installed, I had pictures and showed him exactly what I wanted done. He told me everything I wanted could be accoomplished without any problem. I wanted a niche built, electrical outlets changed and a new mircrowave installed. I choose this company to do the work for several reasons. Rick presented himself as a competent contractor, his company could also do the electrical work (which means I would not have to hire another company and coordinate times) and lastly his estimate was very fair. The estimate was in the middle of the all the other estimates I attained. The tile I wanted was not available locally and Rick took the initiative to call around for prices in order to get me the best price possilbe. I did the same thing and he was able to get a better price then I was. The workers (one was his son) and Rick showed up on the on the day we had scheduled and started working as soon as they arrived. It took two days to complete the job and I was very happy with the results. We had a few problems such as the tile company ordered the wrong amount but Rick called them and had the tile overnighted also there was a problem with one of the electrical swithes but they came out and fixed it immediately. I was under a time crunch, which I mentioned to Rick, and the entire job was finished on time and before my guests arrived. Overall it was a very good experience and I would hire this company again. They lived up to what they said they would do and stood by the quality of their work. Two of the most important things when hiring a company you have never dealt with before.

Called for an estimate and they came out promptly and provided an estimate in 2 days. All procedures were fully discussed and they answered all questions. We purchased our own material and they supplied a shopping list. Measurements were accurate. When I advised that the price was higher than I was looking to pay they put me in touch with one of their installers. He did the job on the weekend for about 1/2 of the quoted price. very professional and did a great job.

A good experience. Mr. Gooden gave me the lowest of three quotes, including another company listed on Angies List. Mr. Gooden was responsive to my questions and concerns. His crew of workers were extremely professional and courteous and patiently answered all my questions about the work being performed. The cleaned up after themselves every day. I have waited about 4 months to write this review after completion of the work since I wanted to see that there were no major problems that may show up later. So far, so good. The quality of the tile work is excellent and I am very pleased with the results and price.

The craftsmanship was excellent. The work was done quickly and proficiently. They are good folks.

Rick Gooden's proposal was more detailed than others we received. He gave us the most reasonable price. We checked references, they had received really good references in businesses around town. They did a really good job and made a lot of good recommendations about the patterns of the tile - they put a lot of thought into that. The best thing about what Rick did was that he came back to check in on the crew. He was here the first day to get them started and then came back to make sure that things were done right. He supervised the project thoroughly. They did a few extra things like carrying the washer and dryer out of the utility room and others free of charge. There were no surprises.
