Process was easy, all interactions with the company were handled well. Phone calls were answered or called back in a timely manner. All staff were very friendly and professional. They actually ended up coming out the morning after we had a snow storm, so everything was a little delayed, but I was called and let know first thing in the morning. The extra work they had to do took a little more than anticipated, but we were not charged anything above the originial estimate. The finished product came out great and has held up very well. Looks like a brand new unit at a fraction of the cost. Only issue I had was the smell afterwords. It can be pretty strong and at the time my wife was pregnant and I did not want her to inhale the fumes, but by the day after the smell was virtually gone. All and all I was very pleased and would use them again in the future.

When our bathroom was remodeled, we chose to have the contractor reglaze the bathtub in order to not have to deal with multiple schedules. Big mistake. I had previously gotten an estimate of $299 to reglaze the bathtub and I should have gone with it! When it was clear to both the contractor and me that the original reglazing job was not good at all, he gave me money back for that portion and I immediately called A & J. They were extremely professional in all their dealings with me - from scheduling, to assuring me that they could fix the tub, to coming back when the glaze was dry to caulk the tub in the color I wanted. (Normally, I believe they use white caulk on the day that they glaze. I wanted to use the colored caulk that match my grout and they were happy to come back and do that. when the glaze was completely dry.) They arrived promptly, my bathroom was clean when they left (I know many people who have complained about the grit that hangs around a bathroom when a reglazing is done), they communicated clearly and often during the process of scheduling, and were always extremely courteous and professional. (My original reglazing was scheduled for the day after Hurricane Irene blew through and we were without power so we had to reschedule.) Although they were charging $299 to reglaze a tub when I first called, if your tub has ever been reglazed, there is an extra $100 charge to remove the first glaze. So my total cost was $399 and it was money extremely well spent. I would use this company again in a heart beat.

The work was really well done. The two tubs that they did look brand new. They are absolutely beautiful. We decided to do that at the last minute because my husband put a footstool in one of the tubs. They are fiberglass surround tubs. He stood on the footstool and it went through. We called somebody to repair it and the other tub had a small hole in it. We were planning on repairing it ourselves. However, what A & J Resurfacing did was fabulous. It looks like a whole brand new bathroom. The tub is all one molded piece. They did everything including the walls. The price was $399 per bathroom. There was a special deal too. So, we got two for about $700.

Everything was done per the estimate. There were no surprises, and the end result was great.

I was told it would take about 4 hours. He was complete in about 5 hours which was completely acceptable by me. They were very responsive to my call for information and returned calls when they said they would. The bathtub looks amazing; a nice bright clean white; just like new. I have a handyman doing miscellaneous work in my house and he is very impressed as well.

the work took only 3 hours, with a 24 hour wait to use. The work was done in a very professional manner and the work area was completely clean when finished. A fantastic price for a "new" tub. This certainly beats the $$$ for an acrylic overlay (which will always look like plastic).

They were extremely friendly in every interaction, prompt for appointments and professional. They also showed a high degree of integrity, because I originally asked for a quote on reglazing the bathtub AND tile surround, but they told me that the tile was in good condition and did not necessarily need reglazing, so they referred me to another company who does regrouting, which was a less expensive option.

They did excellent work. They came out and gave an estimate. This is a mom and pop operation. He did come on time and did not disrupt the household at all, and finished when he said he would. He did stick with the estimated price. I would hire him again in a heartbeat if I needed to have something like that done again.
