A & J Resurfacing

I moved into a 1920's home that has an old iron bathtub, the inside of which someone had painted, and the paint was coming off and rust was forming, so I called A & J Resurfacing. The gentleman who did the work arrived on time, was professional, efficient, and cleaned the work space when he was finished. The new finish on the inside of the tub is fantastic. It looks brand new! I am so thankful for the wonderful job he did and would highly recommend this service.

A & J Resurfacing resurfaced the tile and tub in my house and repaired some cracks that had developed in the tile. The prep done by John was meticulous. The resurfacing done by Austin was beautifully done. They were both very COVID sensitive re: masks, etc. On both the prep and resurfacing day, my home was left spotless. April went beyond the call of duty and gave me a suggestion for faucets when I was running into issues with an old bathroom. They answered any questions, explained the process and were very punctual. The bathroom looked like new when finished. This is a family owed business. They stand by their work. I highly recommend them.

OUTSTANDING!!! I had a bathtub re-glazed after I made three attempts to refinish it with products from Amazon (Rustoleum Tub and Tile). I finally linked up with AJ based on photos I saw through Angie's list and the reviews that went along with it. Here are some things you MUST know: 1. Jimmy was the tech and he was so professional in his work I thought he was the owner. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all of my questions....and I asked a lot. 2. Service is superior....from scheduling, to adjusting the schedule (my needs), to follow up the day before, they were perfect. And the tech was right on time too. 3. Clean up was great - practically zero dust since he took such great care. 4. Product is great and looks beautiful. Prices is fair...not dirt cheap and not too expensive....I am a happy customer. A&J did a full Acrylic Refinish of bathroom wall tile, the shower surround area and tub to update appearance of this mid-70s bathroom. My interactions to date have been excellent. Very responsive and professional. The outcome looks great and was easier and less costly than doing a tear-out or using a company like Bath Fitters. I hope the finish holds up well as is reflected in prior customer reviews. Only time shall tell and it's to soon to assess. Thanks for great customer service and a pleasurable experience.

A & J Resurfacing did the tub originally in 2006, so it was time for a new coating. Firm did an excellent job. Communication with the office was good. Technician who did the job did an excellent & quality job & provided good communication during the job and for us RE: post job cleaning and upkeep. Would highly recommend this company!!!

A&J did beautiful work on a worn cast-iron tub in the bathroom of a 1940s-era Cape Cod that I'm using as a rental. Very responsive, highly communicative, and very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

Great! Everyone was very professional and did a great job. I got a reminder phone call the day before the job, reminding me how to prep. My old tub and tile now look great.

This was a wonderful experience. The technician, James H., spent many hours carefully filling nicks and dings with Bondo prior to resurfacing. He worked past the time allotted on the scheduling paperwork in order to get every detail perfect. After resurfacing, the tub looked brand new. James quickly ran a beautiful caulk line around the edges, and I now have a bathroom fit for a model home. Payment was expected only after I was completely satisfied. The company offers a 5-year warranty, but I don't expect I'll need to use it given the high quality of the work. I've never seen a technician as thorough, conscientious, and customer-focused as James, and I don't expect I'll ever see that degree of ethical workmanship again. I was extremely impressed and grateful for the outstanding service. Photos attached. Judge for yourself.

A & J Resurfacing did an exceptional job of resurfacing my dingy old beige tub into a bright white tub. They were thorough, professional, and did a superb job. The work has held up beautifully and, if the need arises, I will definitely use them again.

From start to finish, hiring A&J resurfacing was one of the best experiences I've had while restoring my home in the fan. Estimate was over the phone, communication was great during every step of the process, everyone was courteous and the work was done very well! Tub looks new! Attention to detail was spot on! Great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.

A and J were great! They're booked well in advance, so plan ahead. April was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The first coating was beautiful but the non-skid surface was too slick, so they came back out with a new non-skid product and it's terrific. It's been a few months and it looks great! It isn't permanent but I expect with care (no pet claws, wiping down water, cleaning with mild detergent and soft rag) it will last a long time.

We are so happy we chose to use A & J Resurfacing to give our bathroom a little facelift. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was so helpful, nice and professional. When we called to describe the job, April (the "A" in "A & J") was very informative and helped us figure out what would work and what wouldn't. Initially we wanted to have them resurface our tile floor as well, but they talked us out of it because resurfacing generally doesn't work as well on floors. It was refreshing to feel like they were our partners in the project helping us determine what would look best and last longest versus just trying to up-sell us to make more money. The entire process took two days. On the first day, John (the "J" in "A & J") came out and cleaned our bathroom and repairs all the cracks and chips in the tile. Then the next day, Austin, one of their workers, came out and applied the coating to everything. It looks fabulous. We've only been in the house for two days since they did the work, so we'll see how it holds up. But they have a five year guarantee so if anything goes wrong they'll come out and fix it. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. If you're thinking about having your tub or tiles resurfaced, give them a call and ask questions. They are more than happy to help.

The owners are April and John. April was the nicest person to deal with. She scheduled the job, explained exactly what they would do and had excellent follow up to my questions. John came out as scheduled and did an excellent job. I had one spot on the edge of the tub that needed one extra coat of paint. April rescheduled to meet our schedule and they came out and touched up the spot......can't even tell they touched it up. I was very impressed with the professionalism of this Company and the fact that they came back until we were completely satisfied. Also, while John was at my house, he touched up a spot on my kids tub that I stained and it looks beautiful.
