Description of Work: Heater went out to days prior to Thanksgiving. Although the part did not arrive until the Monday following, New River HVAC was reasonable and prompt. I would definitely recommend their services.

Description of Work: They installed mini splits. They were really good.

Description of Work: We had two oil furnaces inspected and cleaned. The service technician was a young man who was very polite, courteous and professional. The service took about 4 hours, so I can only assume he did a fairly thorough job. He left the area he was working in neat and clean when he was done. This young man is definitely an asset to the company. I clicked n/a on the price because we have not had this done before so I don't have a good frame of reference for price. I clicked n/a on responsiveness ... it took about 3-4 weeks to schedule the appointment, but that was my fault for waiting until the middle of heating season to call. We called New River last year when a furnace fan went out, and they were here the next day to fix it. I have no complaints about this company and would use them again.

Description of Work: I hired NRH&A for installing a minisplit in my basement. They did a great job and I am very pleased with the work they have done. I scouted out many mini split selling companies in the area and they were priced right. I had no issues with calling them and getting a timely response back. The installation was done in parts since I first reached out to them when I was finishing up my electrical work in the basement. Then again after drywall was painted and before the carpet went in. Each time the team was professional and good. One hiccup with them was that they sent out guys to go the drainage pipe and at that time we realized they hadn't run the electrical all the way out to where it needed to go and the wire was left short. But the end result was that they had to mount a cut-out box at a slightly more visible location on the exterior of the house. In the end it all works great and the advice they gave me about the size of the unit and stuff has been great. Good people to work with and so I will call them again for my HVAC/minisplit needs. |

Description of Work: They were at my house very quickly, and performed some quick repair stuff, but I was told on Friday that they would call Monday, or Tuesday to finish repairs. On Wednesday I called them, and no one in the office knew anything, so the guy that was at our house on Friday finally called, and knew nothing, but said he would call the office, and call me back. He never called back. I am baffled, because they have always been pretty good, but this is our first experience with the Radford office, and will probably be our last. I am sorry that the guy had to work until 10:00 on Friday night, and just forgot to write "stuff" in his notes, but that really isn't my problem. I am very irritated, as I do not appreciate contractors who do not do what they say they will do.

Description of Work: Replaced capacitor for fan and tuned up system.
