A1 is tops!!! They are very professional and do great work. When we had an issue with something that wasn't installed correctly, the owner personally came to rectify the situation,and went above and beyond what was necessary. I highly recommend them!!

Everything went smoothly and the repair was done correctly without any issue. New River was professional and very responsive.

It took them over a month to install my new furnace. They kept giving me excuses as to why they had to cancel two appointments before they finally showed up to do the job. Then they had to make several more appointments to come back at a later time so the system actually worked properly. Then their service got even worse and they were sending people out to do biannual service contract inspections who did nothing more than walk around my basement and talk on their cell phones and then check off everything on the service maintenance list that indicated that they had performed those services, tell me they were finished and leave after ten minutes. I complained about this and they agreed I wasn't given appropriate inspections and sent my money back for a one year service contract. Then the thermostat stopped working and they came out to tell me ti no longer worked in order a order me a replacement thermostat since it was still under warranty with lennox but when they came back to put it on the technician had no idea what he was doing and then they sent out the service manager who fixed the connectivity issue but failed to enable the emergency heat but by the time I realized something was still with my newly installed thermostat it was time to renew my service contract and they refused and said they no longer wanted me as a customer so I was forced to hire another company do do what New River Heating and Air should have done. I then filled a BBB complaint and New River heating and Air settled it by reimburse me for the cost associated with installing the thermostat that I had paid them. In my experience they do not have the technicians working for them that have any idea how to work on or service a newer Lennox Furnace system that they are selling. Not once did they send out a service technician where they didn't have the make another appointment to send out the service manager to come back after them.

Came on time, was courteous, and did thorough job. Debriefed afterward.

I noticed in our mail thing that we are due for service on our system to keep our warranty up; to do so we are actually going to do a maintenance contract with them it is about $96 yearly, but they come out and do inspections and everything. The owner is the one who came out and gave us a quote. We had them replace another system which was nor working correctly so the first the thing they did was send someone to inspect the old system to see what were the problems. They fixed it on the spot for free and did not even charge us to come out. They were very nice, courteous and stayed in contact with us the entire time. They were very nice, professional and they got the job done in an efficient manner. They did not charge us an insane amount of money for it. We had a name brand system. It was a well worth investment to have it done right.

They got here really quick. No one complained about anything and they gave us the information that we needed to make a decision.

I called at noon, needing someone to come out that day because we were leaving the next day and would be away for some time, but all the technician were tied up. Made the appointment for the next day, we would leave late to get going. At 4:30 pm the day I called they were able to free up a technician and by 6:30 pm the AC was up and running again... very much appreciated the office working to get someone to us quickly, and our technician Robbie was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and efficient.

Our A/C went out (and it was hot outside). They were able to get to us early the next morning. The technician found the problem quickly and fixed it quickly. Fortunately, it turned out to be an easy fix. He checked the system and all was well, so we were just charged for the call ($75). I could not have been happier - we will call them from now on.

AC was out. Responded within hours. Diagnosed the problem. Had the part on the truck. Replaced the part and had us back up in no time. Price was great and very professional.

It went well. They showed up on time and followed our requests for placement, as much as possible in our old home. They completed the work in the estimated time and answered all questions and concerns we had for future maintenance.

Above and beyond, replaced and removed the old handler in a cramped attic, made sure that all registers were re-installed properly (were not installed by New River Heating and Air), came back to make sure everything was completed correctly, and cleaned up all the mess when it was over. Spent a very long day and part of another to finish things off. We will only use New River Heating and Air for any of our heating and air needs. This is the second house we've used them on, and they are always a step above.

We moved into our house about 3 years ago and the first thing we wanted to was get a heat pump. They were very friendly. When we were about to have the heat pump installed our sewer pipes backed up we ended up having to replace our sewer pipes and the heat pump at the same time. right after we bought the house. Both companies worked with us on some payment options without financing. about a year later we wanted to get our heat pump removed from our basement. So we asked them to come out again to see how much it would cost to have it removed. It was the same guy who came out the first time. He told us that to remove it he would have to charge us about $3800. He told us not to have them do it because he didn't want to charge us that much. He recommended an alternative for us which worked out and save us a lot of money. I will always use New River Heating and Air for my projects because I know that they will do what's best for me not just their bottom line.

New River Heating and Air scheduled the work within a couple of days and around my schedule. The technician came to our house on time and got our heat pump working very quickly. The technician was professional and courteous.

Serviceman was responsive and punctual and acted in a professional manner. He just did not get the job done correctly.

It all went well. They responded very quickly to get my heat started again (thermocouple). Since it had been several years, they scheduled a preventative maintenance. When they came a couple weeks later for the preventative maintenance, they discovered that the expansion tank was starting to leak. They installed a new expansion tank later the same day. The cost cited covered all of this.

I like that they come when scheduled, which consists of coming during a time block. I think they provide very high quality work and are very professional.

They come out really fast after you call. The first time we called because our heat pump went out and they came out the next day. We then signed up for the annual maintenance. They replaced our heat pump and everything that goes along with it. We just called them a couple weeks ago because the humidifier was not functioning. Turns out we just needed a switch flipped. The control for the humidifier had never been hooked up to the electrical so he wired that for us. They are really nice people. They are responsive. We have been very happy with them so far.

This has been a very frustrating experience for me. My heat went out Sunday, November 27, 2011. I finally gave up after two weeks of scheduling and re-sheduling. On Monday I looked on the Lennox site to find a recommended service provider. Blue Ridge Heating and Air was recommened. I called and we made an appointment for the next day. So far, so good. They called on Tuesday and asked to reschedule and asked to reschedule. I said Thursday was fine. They called on Thursday and asked to reschedule and I said Monday would do. They called on Monday and said they had people out with a stomach bug; could they reschedule for Friday? I said Thursday would be better because of my work schedule. Thursday, between my morning class which ends at 2:00pm and 5:30pm when I have to go teach in Radford. Now we are at two weeks from the first appointment. They called me while I was teaching my morning class and said they were on their way. I told them no, I teach until 2:00pm but I could arrange for an early release. No, they would come after class. At 4:41 pm they called and said that they had not forgotten about me and where on their way. I asked would they have enough time before I left for school? No,but could they reschedule. I'm done. I guess I'll start again. Wish me luck.

These guys are awesome! They went above and beyond to not only do the work right, but also to conceal the lines running up our house in gutter. They couldn't find gutter that matched what was on the house so they went out and found paint and painted the gutter to match perfectly. Whereas most contractors we have to continually watch and ask to change things, these guys did things right without us having to ask. Their installation crew was awesome and braved our 140 degree attic for three days to get the job done. They promised they would have the unit installed and running on a Friday and stayed until 9:30pm to get the job finished. If you want an HVAC system, call these guys. They also had the cheapest bid. We put AC in our upstairs and our entire house stays cool now. I really can't say enough about these guys.

They are very good. They are convenient. They are very prompt in getting here. Everything they have done is been very good.
