Description of Work: We had a fault show up on thermostat. They had responded to a similar occurrence. They talked us through likely scenario for the new event. We checked and all systems were fine.

Description of Work: I am so happy that I found Cascades Comfort Services. I "broke up" with my old HVAC company due to sub-standard service. The Cascades Comfort technician was friendly, professional, and competent. I like to support reputable family businesses even if the cost is higher. It's worth it! I will use Cascades Comfort Services again.

Description of Work: The technician was here on time (actually a wee bit early), efficiently went through the inspections of both systems, made some minor adjustments and gave me feedback on steps we needed to take in the near term. He was in/out in 30 minutes, efficient, friendly and willing to answer a few questions, with detailed explanations. We've used this company for many years, and are always very satisfied with their responsiveness, quality of their work and cost.

Description of Work: This company was beyond terrific. They were both professional and extremely helpful. This is a Family-run operation. Robert is the owner, and his son-in-law Pat works with him. Robert’s daughter (Pat’s wife) handles the administrative details. They had a helper, but I didn’t catch his name. They all work together like a well-oiled machine! Our Furnace-A/C was around 20 years old and urgently needed to be replaced. I interviewed about 13 different dealers and was confused and disappointed after each interview. Our maintenance company Cropp-Metcalf wouldn’t even try to fix our system – instead telling us that it was dead and we needed a new system – which they were more than eager to provide. When I finally met the folks at Cascades Comfort, Pat told me that they could indeed fix our system while we were continuing our search for a dealer. And he promptly did! Moreover, he said they wouldn’t charge us should we select them as our dealer. After checking them further, on Angie’s List, Washington Checkbook, the Washingtonian Magazine and the Better Business Bureau, we selected them. They arrived on the date and time as promised and started working immediately. Even when I went down to ask them questions, they patiently answered all my questions -- but they kept working – very efficiently and professionally. It seemed like no time at all had elapsed (but it was some 8 hours later) when they finished. Moreover, they had cleaned up the areas where they had worked and made some changes to the pipes that made the system even more efficient. Finally, the owner, Robert patiently explained everything about our new system. Afterwards, both my wife and I enjoyed our first evening with wonderful coolness. The new system is terrific due in no small part to the expertise of Cascades Comfort. I not only recommend them to anyone who wants a new HVAC system installed in their home – but I strongly urge everyone to put these folks at the very top of your list. I have full confidence that they will not disappoint anyone. While a grade of ‘A’ is the highest grade I can award on Angie’s list, nevertheless, I would award them an ‘A++’ if I could. They exceeded my expectations in every regard!!!!

Description of Work: Cascades Comfort Service provides our spring and winter annual checkups. We have special filter on our air cleaner and they always remember to bring it. This past winter, they walked us through a long-standing issue with our AC. The provided 3 alternatives. The one we went with was a special one-off solution they tailored for us.

Description of Work: I used Cascades Comfort Services for my heating and air conditioning service. They had to replace a part in the outside unit of the air conditioner.

Description of Work: They do air conditioning maintenance for us. We have been using their service for the last 5 years.

Description of Work: Installed a new furnace, ducts, and thermostat in my condo. The service writer also led the installation, so recommendations made during the proposal were kept without fault. The installation included some nice touches, such as attaching a separate little box for the filter to the outside of the furnace--which obviated the need to open the furnace to insert a filter.

Description of Work: We had a problem with the heat last at the end of winter last year and they came out and attempted to fix it. This year when it got cold we called them again. They came out in the morning and did not charge us for the repeat visit even though it was a year later. But later in the day it was still not working. They came out that evening and again did not charge us. They changed some pipes and the heat came back on.

Description of Work: Cascades Comfort did a clean out service on the heating and air unit in my 3,200 square feet home. The service took around an hour.

Description of Work: On a recent hot summer day, the AC in my 2003 home malfunctioned again and kept running unless the power is cut off. I checked another local list and found CASCADE COMFORT SERVICE. Mr. Robert came and had the wiring problem fixed in 20 minutes.
