I called back the original company to tell them I wouldn't be replacing the AC. They insisted their "diagnosis" was correct and asked if they could send out their "top" guy. He came out, said he had good news, bad news. The original leak was not found but a different leak was found. AC didn't need replacing but a different coil was leaking, estimated repair would "only" cost close to $3,000. Had Cascades Comfort out again, this leak was not found either. I was charged $150 for this visit which was a thorough check for leaks.

They show up on time and they are friendly and knowledgeable. They explain everything clearly and they are neat.

It’s just 2 brothers. They’ve always done everything they could to get things repaired in the past. One time, I had a problem and they couldn’t figure it out and they never charged me until they finally figured out what was wrong and fixed it. They are a really small company but they do great work. They have integrity. I can trust them. They are not going to lie to me. They are not going to overcharge me and they’ll do the job right. They are one of the few vendors I use that I don’t have problems about recommending. I’ve been using them for 10 years.

Fabulous. They are always on time. It is a father son business. They are very through and personable. They review the bill with you before you pay. We have actually called them after hours and they call right back.

They've been servicing it for probably two to three years. This might be the third year. The way that I had found them is a man had them replace one or two of his air conditioning units in his home and he recommended them so that is how I started using them. I didn't find them on Angie's List. Last year they put some freon in so it was more expensive. Yesterday, it was $85 so if it is just the regular thing without freon, it is $85. It is very reasonable. They are excellent. They are punctual. In fact, yesterday Patrick came about 45 minutes early. They are courteous. They are good and I trust them. It is good family business.

This company is head and shoulders above the industry. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, honest, and well spoken. They are truly professionals and I will only use this company for my hvac needs. Breath of fresh air to meet well-spoken professionals in hvac industry.

They are the best and fixed everything quickly. I can't say enough good things about this company and if you need HVAC service or help with your fireplace call them. They even send thank you notes after their service is performed. Nice touch!!

AC was not cooling like it should. He arrived right on time and found a mouse had chewed on the wires in the unit. He removed the nest, fixed the wires and also added freon since it was low. Was finished in an hour and the AC is working great now on this hot and humid day.

Robert from Cascades came exactly on time and was extremely professional. He took one look at the unit and diagnosed the problem. It was the capacitor and he had it fixed and pumping out cool air in less than 15 minutes. I can't express how relieved I was. Not only do I have A/C on a day it is going to be in the 80s (and I have pets), but I didn't have to deal with someone trying to sell me a new A/C unit or an unnecessary expensive repair. I will speak highly of Cascades to everyone I know. Honest, good work from a true professional is hard to come by these days.

They get A's all the way from top to bottom. They charged me for the filter but the service was free.

CCS has done a lot of work for us over the years... Not only the annual maintenance on our HVAC system, but they added a second zone for us, and also upgraded our entire system a few years ago... They have always been easy to get in touch with, to make an appointment, and they do good work... We have been using them for so long, Robert, Pat, and Ashley are almost like family. If you need an HVAC contractor, do yourself a favor and call them...

We had a water leak of unknown origin around the furnace in basement leaking into adjacent bedroom. Technician immediately located the culprit inside the furnace, used a chemical cleaner for the coils and all is well!

The technician arrived within the window and I informed him that the air conditioner wasn't cooling and I suspected it was out of coolant. He went to work immediately and diagnosed a bad run capacitor which was making the fan spin backwards and not turning on the condenser. He had the parts in the van, replaced the capacitor, checked out the rest of the system, topped off the coolant and was in and out within half an hour, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't need to take as much time off of work to deal with the fix. He also took the time to use the water hose to clean off the condensing unit to improve the efficiency.

Very good service. Called to say he was 20 min. late. Put on slippers over shoes to protect my marble and wood floors. He explained that the A/C system was in good condition and checked refrigerant pressure . I have and will continue to use this company,

Robert and Pat completed the installations in two appointments. Both times I had an appointment with them at 8:00 am in the morning and they showed up a few minutes earlier, started and completed the job promptly. They also installed my HVAC system a few years ago and have been servicing it since then. At that time I had proposals from about 5 companies and Cascade's offer was the best one in terms of the price, equipment, and details of work to be done. The Cascades is a true family business and they've always made me feel part of the family. Couple years ago when there was a big storm of 2-3 feet snow, the heater stopped working. I called Ashley and she had Pat call me back in a few minutes. He told me it was his priority to fix the system and showed up the first thing next morning. Meanwhile he gave me some tips to restart the furnace and I was able to do so to get the heat back. I highly recommend Cascades Comfort Services and I will keep using them exclusively for all of my heating/cooling work.

CCS has always been on time, up front with the repair costs, professional, and overall good in service. I have one of their magnets on my refrigerator and would not hesitate to call them again in event I am ever in need of their help.

Heater Annual Service - The rep came out and serviced the heater unit, cleaned the area around the unit, and replaced the filter. He also checked for problems, luckily there were none.

Everything went superbly from the time of first contact through follow-up after the installation. Time will tell, but so far we are very pleased with the York system. The price paid was far less than other contractors want for a comparable system. The indoor part of the system is so quiet you wouldn't even know it is running. I would highly recommend Cascades Comfort Services to friends and family for their honesty, professionalism, value and quality of workmanship.

The 10 year experience or 20 service visits has gone well. We like our association with Robert and Pat and will continue our relationship for the future.
