Zero Punch-List LLC

There were several things at the house that needed to be either repaired or replaced. Getting an estimate and setting a date for the work took a little longer than expected but they provided emails and phone calls to update me with the schedule. The clean up that was done after each visit to the house was super.

I joined Angie's list just to get the name of a company/individual to do some repair work on our house. I emailed Zero Punch List and was contacted the same day. Weston came about a week later and gave us an estimate. The only reason that took as long as it did was because he was out of town for a few days. He came and did the work about 10 days later. We are very pleased with the work Weston did.

We had to reschedule the work several times, due to sever weather that always seemed to come up on the days we had scheduled the outdoor job. They ended up working outside in a very wet situation, because they did not want to have to keep putting off my repairs. These guys were very easy to work with. They seemed very conscientious and professional.

Went great! The piping was even covered so it was not an eyesore as it was prior to the repair.

Bought Angie's List coupon originally for another company. They defaulted on the coupon and Zero Punch List agreed to honor the coupon. The experience was kind of interesting - the owner set aside certain days when he would honor the coupon (so as not to interfere with his existing customers) and then fielded appointment requests to fill these days. I requested a Friday morning about 2 months out and we settled on that date The company (under this coupon) did not provide materials and expected all materials to be at the job site. Well, I didn't know that much about working with powdered aluminum (nor could I find any that looked like our fascia covering) so contacted the contractor for advice. He said he would bring the aluminum stock and a machine to bend the material to the right configuration - I bought lumber and some shingles. Friday morning came - the experience was wonderful. They climbed all over the roof, replacing shingles and fixing the two places where the winds had ripped the fascia boards from the roof lines. Work was performed flawlessly, and I was extremely satisfied. If you are looking for someone to make you feel good during the sales cycle this guy isn't it. He has his way of doing business, and you'll do business with him in his way or you won't do business with him. Believe me, its worth it. He brings a wealth of knowledge about construction and repair to the table, and he will give you what you need, not just what you ask for.

They were great and we liked them a lot. They really explained things well and their price was reasonable. I recommend them to other members.

We were thrilled and had him look at more work we need to be done on our house and roof. Wes and his assistants were professional and hard working. He made my husband a happy man by moving our hose reel from the deck to a more hidden location. Our door to the garage closes now and the porch is sturdy and painted, which makes me very happy! We look forward to using ZeroPunch List again and have recommended them to many of our friends already!

Zero Punch List was identified, by Angie's List, as a contractor to fulfill a "big deal" which went awry. We were to pay $125 for 5 hours of handyman labor by one person or 2.5 hours by two people. The original contractor kept delaying giving us a commitment to complete our smaller jobs. He seemed preoccupied with a big "out of town" project. I was quite frustrated after two months of excuses and unresponsiveness. So, I was not expecting too much from Zero Punch List. Even before the work day, the communications and instructions which we received from Mr. Hinden, as to how to prepare and prioritize our range of potential jobs, were helpful. He, as well as a young helper, arrived on time and proceeded to efficiently perform the tasks. They walked through, assessed what needed to be done and reprioritized based upon the supplies which we had on hand. Mr. Hinden explained what and why he was performing the tasks as he did them. So, I gained an education as well as expertly completed work. The work exceeded my expectations and my wife and I are considering using Zero Punch List for other handyman tasks at our home.

Went well, it was just a small job but they came when they said they would, were very thorough and explained everything they were doing. Cost very reasonable.

The ZPL team was very knowledgable and professional. They thought of questions to ask and details to check and recheck that we never would have even crossed our mind. They cleaned the work site as the build progressed and left our patio cleaner than it was when they arrived. They were also very personable and pleasant. There was one measurement and cut that resulted in a trip to Lowes to buy new boards (which W was willing to purchase), but he figured out a way to use the shorter boards to enhance the look of the structure and ensure those boards weren't wasted And while waiting for the new boards, the build continued so there was no time wasted either. And I will say, if you have questions for W, be aware that he will stop working to answer your question vs. working and talking at the same time. But both of those are minor points in light of the quality of their work and their personalities. I will definitely call on them again for future carpentry work around our house. The work that he has done is still very operable and in good quality. I never expected the professionalism that he displayed. His creativityis unmatched and I would not hesitate to contact his company for further service. I highly recommend his company.

Weston was very detailed oriented. He made sure that the bookshelf would be designed so that we could add a library ladder at a later date and the ladder wouldn't interfere with the existing closets. He also took the time to try and match up the wood stain so that it would match the existing closets.

There was some delay initially and they showed up quite right on time when they said they would be after calling me about the delay. We had a low floor problem in the sink in the bathroom, we had called some other plumber through phone book to work on it some time before but it just didn't work out. He quickly noticed what the problem was and corrected what the other plumber had done. They quickly examined the situation, realized what the problem was and recommended things to do. They repaired quickly and very effectively and at a very reasonable price. I asked them about dealing with a situation in the future about putting a shower head because we had a tub that did not have a shower head and they gave me a very good explanation of what the situation was and what might be the possible solutions to it and approximate prices it would probably cost. They told me about the ways to do it cost effectively. They were very informative. They certainly gave good service. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

While we had some difficulty on the front end with communication which I share some of the responsibilty for, once Zero Punch List got to our house, it was non-stop super service, over the top positive ... Unfortunately, I had not received a message to expect their service call on the day they arrived, so I had to quickly consider which of the many projects might best fit for the Angie's Deal coupon we had purchased (2 hours of handyman service). Fortunately, there were several to choose from, and after considering our options the most pressing seemed to be repairing an exterior door exiting our garage. The wooden frame had pulled away from the door frame, and the door was no longer functional and unable to close. Mr, Hinden, not only was very flexible in my unpreparedness, but also was able to tackle the repair without requiring the purchase of materials. My expectation had been once he completed the item, particularly in light of my lack of preparation, we would check the box and consider the coupon redeemed. However, once he finished the door, he asked for another task. I had recently installed a new bathroom sink and had left it incomplete and leaking. I asked Mr. Hinden if he could take a look at it and within a short time, he had repaired the sink, and also gave me advice on how to avoid leaks if I chose to do any future installations. And then he asked for another task ... I told him I was at a loss of ideas, and having come through our front door that wouldn't shut properly, he offered to take a look and see about fixing it. We were wildly delighted to have a front door that shut properly ... unlike most of needed repairs - which have cropped up in the last year - this particular problem had existed since the time we had purchased the house. After he left all of the children took turns shutting the door. Mr. Hinden asked for another task, and he had honestly exhausted every small task I could think of, and one I hadn't. I could not in good conscious ask for anything else. Our expectations, and hopes, were met and far exceeded. I can assure you, if we are ever in a situation where we have the resources to afford professional services like those that Zero Punch List provide in the future, they will be hearing from us ... I am so wildly delighted and can't wait to find money to have them over again!

The job was performed to my satisfaction and done in a very professional manner.

Weston and his team are very professional. They are on time, take extreme pride in their work and do an excellent job cleaning up when they finish at the end of each day. Weston had to go out of his way to find the dentil molding that exactly matched the one we had in the house, but he did that rather than put up one that was not a perfect match. You can tell that he takes pride in his work. The price charged was the same as the agreed to estimate. The only delay was the already mentioned time it took for him to find the correct dentil molding, a delay which we really appreciated, and scheduling delays due to our own personal schedule conflicts.

I found another contractor who is doing more work for less than 1/3 of ZPL's quote.

Mr. Hinden arrived promptly and immediately started to work. He came up with a solution for the window ledge that was perfect and far less complicated than other suggestions we had received, and it looked great. As an added bonus, he fixed something totally botched by a previous contractor that I hadn't even put on the list. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about how best to do what I needed done, and I was extremely pleased with the work he did. I was using an Angie's List coupon for two hours of time and I felt that I more than got my money's worth. We have since used Mr. Hinden and his son for cleaning our gutters and roofs, some yard work, and helping get an old tiller going again. I highly recommend his services.

We purchased 2 hours on an Angie's list Big Deal about a month ago. Weston arrived early (after calling to be sure that was ok with us). He was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. The work was well done. We ended up having him stay longer to assist with some other odds and ends. We will be doing a lot more business together - in fact, he'll be installing my new stove today and we are already talking about getting estimates for some other projects around the house! Can't wait to try out my new Snake Rake!

We got the Angie's List deal for this company. Mr. Hinden emailed quickly to set up our date, followed up promptly, and was even very accommodating when I rescheduled our first appointment. He emailed the night before to confirm the appointment, and called on the day of to let me know he was on his way. He showed up about 15 minutes early, and spent the entire two hours going over every item on our list, even taking the time to explain how to fix the things he couldn't do that day. Mr. Hinden is extremely capable and knowledgeable, and EFFICIENT to say the very least. Make sure you have discussed your list with him ahead of time, and that you have the tools and materials needed to complete your projects. This saves time and allows him to get things done at the speed of light!

Weston was great. He walked through my home. I explained my areas of concern and which ones were most important to my family. He listened to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. He explained in detail which items could be repaired in this 2 hour visit and which ones would require more time. After the walk through, we decided to hang a new shower door and the safety issue of the wood beams in the family room. It went great! I had to leave and go to lass and Weston re-explained everything to my husband and even acknowledged my 4 year old son that wanted to help him fix "stuff". One of the best things about Weston was his character he was professional and caring. I loved that he had slippers he wore inside the house. We don't wear shoes in our home. For us that was an extremely thoughtful gesture. When I returned from class my bathroom was just as clean as I left it with a shiny new shower door!

We will only hire Weston of Zero Punch-list for all of our home needs. We highly recommend him for ANY work you need done. He is thoughtful and responds quickly with any emails I send. And........ he pays attention to my dog!!!
