Pro-Seal

We had another company patch and pave our driveway. Within a couple of weeks, paving showed signs of cracking, warping, and sealant coming up due to improper preparation and laying of paving material. The original contractor claimed this was normal & refused to correct issues. Near the end of August 2013, we called Pro-Seal and spoke with Rob. He arrived promptly and was courteous and professional. He looked over the troubled areas and acknowledged the faulty issues. He advised us of our options . We asked him for an estimate to repair faulty areas. The estimate was reasonable and we were comfortable with his advice. The "C" for responsiveness was given, because we called and left a message for Rob afterwards, but he never returned our call.

Everything was done on schedule as agreed to and the company was flexible about accepting payment via phone as I was out of town and my husband was working.

Pro Seal applied the asphalt with a large squeegee and then sprayed a secondary protective coat. They also applied asphalt on the edges of the driveway in spots where the original asphalt was beginning to break down. Kevin and his son were great to work with and the driveway looks brand new.

I was told by another contractor that I need to cap my driveway. I was told that this would cost $2400. I brought pro-seal in for a second opinion. After Rob came out to look at my driveway he told me that he would be happy to cap it but he did not think it needed capping at this time. He recommended filling the cracks and then sealing the driveway. He said that he felt like the driveway could last another 5 yrs before it need to be capped.

I called Pro-Seal late in the afternoon on the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend requesting an estimate for seal coating my driveway. They came out for the estimate Tuesday morning after Memorial Day. Their estimate provided two costs; one for spray coating and the other for application by squeegee. I called them late Tuesday and selected the more expensive squeegee application, but the increased cost was offset by the 10 % Angie's List discount. They fit us in for the next day. They showed up first thing in the morning. We have been in our house for 28 years. During that time we have had the driveway resurfaced once and seal coated about six times, including three times by me with a brush when I was younger. This was the best job ever! Several neighbors have commented on the quality of the job and asked who did the work. By the way, I am still waiting to hear back from the other company I called for an estimate.

Emailed Pro-Seal on their website for an estimate to pave a driveway. Received a response email later that evening stating I would receive a phone call the next day to discuss the estimate. Received the phone call and suggested several times I would be available on 3 different dates. I was told I would receive a call prior to someone showing up for an estimate. Never heard anything on the 3 days I suggested. Received a message the following week asking to arrange a time for an estimate. I decided not to bother with the estimate. Basically, it was impossible to schedule a solid date and time for an appointment on the first call. Not a good first impression and perhaps an indication of their performance had I hired them to do the job.

I would recommend Pro-Seal services. The edges were neat. They did everything right on time.

Refused to pay for the crack filling portion - sloppy work and when I noted this on the payment, no response from Pro-Seal.

They were excellent to work with. They explained exactly what they were going to do before and they did what they said they were going to do. The quote was good. They cleaned up after themselves and are just a great company.

They preformed the job while we were out of town and it looks very nice.

Pro-seal did exactly what they said they do. Timely and complete. I forgot to tell them about my Angie's list coupon until after I gave them the check. I called back two days later and they were happy to honor it. Class service.

They failed to show up for scheduled appointment.

Received a quick estimate and then we negotiated a price. Crew showed on time and I left for an appointment. When I came home the driveway looked great. The only problem was some over spray in two small places.

They were very punctual and did exactly what they promised.

They just sealed my driveway. I didn?t see them, but they came in and did the work, they left me a bill and I sent the money to them. The work done by them was great and their price was fair compared to what I had checked around. They quality and responsiveness was good, and they came when they said they were coming. I would use them again in the future if needed.

They did a great job. The reason why we spent $800 was because we had 2 holes that had to be dug out and filled up. They dug out the 2 areas that were pretty deep and filled it and did a beautiful job. After they did that they sealed the whole driveway. Their price was fair for what they had to do. Their responsiveness was perfect. We've already recommended them. Thanks to Angie's List. We will always look there first.

I used Pro-Seal to reseal my asphalt driveway. I left them a voice message and received a callback the next day. They were able to fit me in despite their heavy workload. They came to my house ontime and did the work quickly.
